She did well right?
Those Mankai indicates where Yuna places her heart to.
Y'all niggas need to read some William Hope Hodgson. You'd understand this better.
Any of you even read Bokurano?
I had a slight hope that she'd be the only one to walk out of this unscathed.
they would kick the ass of the evil gods who sent the Vertexes, Shinju and fix the world and give all the girls everything they lost back
Remember the good times before Sonoko threw a wrench to the whole thing?
Oh god. I only now realized how terrible it must be for Karin to be left alone, blind and deaf, right in the middle of that clusterfuck of gorillions of Vertex and Tougou's heroics.
Just make it stop already.
I hope for bad end.
Thanks for great episode Karin.
I dont even care anymore about the ending I just want this to end. Godamn.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
Fun times not knowing what is happening around you while all of your friends are fighting for their lives.
>Did they forgot about me?
>Maybe they lost and I'm the only one?
>I will never see my friends again.
>Maybe they are searching for me right now and can't find me
>All things must pass
>I feel alone
Fuck, I legitimately teared up here.
God damn MPC.
I would sign with QB anyday of the week before Taisha
Saving Karin is enough
Hey, aren't we forgetting someone?
I really was expecting her to be in the UBW pose during this pan up.
The suffering, the despair, the looks on those girls' faces. It's fucking comedy gold, man.
I only had to lose everything that weren't my bodily senses.
D-don't worry, guys.
How much will Fuu suffer when she sees Karin?
Definitely the former.
This episode did a really good job of making you empathize with Togo and her goals.
Most of us hoped for a happy ending after episode 10. I see a lot of people who would prefer death now.
Heroes never die
Did some sea quests.
I'm also streaming for a while, trying to kill the stratum boss. Come if you want to watch useless filler, and cool parts that I'll post in this thread anyway.
So Christmas is totally getting ruined, right?
Shut up. Just, shut up. Never bring Fate into Yuyuyu again.
Nasu shits on Hero's like Yuuna, Karin and the rest. He writes parodies like Kerry and UBW Shirou and shits on them.
fuck him and fuck all the ungrateful swine in the world
You are my Hero and I love you Yuuki Yuuna.
Depends. Do we have the technology?
>Episode 12 will end without any mention of Gin
>I heard you had problem with universal beings
Why do so many people think Sonoko will show up?
What makes you think she will do anything other than sit in bed?
She can't move without transforming, and needs her phone to transform. Only way she could get it is if someone else gave it to her and time seems to be stopped for non-Heroes during forestize so good luck with that.
Not to mention it would be a total asspull and kill the conflict between Yuuna and Togo that has been building up.
So in the end all of them will just be lying around in a huge bed next to each other, all more or less paralyed, blind, deaf, mute, etc and communicate only by physical contact, touching, hand-holding and cuddling?
I mean, being a lonely log sucks, but now they will be six holy logs together, so it's not really suffering anymore.
Karin is the real hero, never gave up and sacrificed herself for the greater good, never forget ;_;
Just thinking she has been alone her entire life, preparing for this one life and just when she finds her place it's all gonne, she was doomed from the start ;__;
Next episode we'll see Karin transformed again (there's no reason she can't other than being tired right now), aimlessly flying and relying on her fairy to lead the way. She'll bump into a few tree branches and shout out to the girls, not even knowing if she's being led in the right direction or flying straight into an enemy. She won't even know when or if the horror will all end until Fuu grabs her from behind, stopping her as Karin once did.
Will supplements help getting her sight and hearing back?
She can probably fight at full capacity with her fairies. Tougou's ability to fight isn't impaired by her damaged legs either.
No matter what they take from them, they wouldn't compromise their abilities to fight.
Sonoko is the final line of defense if the heroes go berserk or fail. However she would be pretty useless at that if her time was frozen as well since she could not intervene at all. So I don't think time is frozen for her or the taisha people.
Also she teleported Yuuna and Tougou to her bed using that shrine. However if her time had been frozen during that battle she wouldn't have had any time to do that.
Everything flashes bright white and pink pedals gather around me. I attain Mankai, hopefully for the last time in my life. The power of Shinju-sama surges through my entire body as I attack the Vertex. I will use this attained power to protect the Hero Club. That is Miyoshi Karin’s mission. All four of my swords clash against my opponent at the same time, pushing it away. I just need one final push to defeat it. I put all of my power into these four fists of mine and slice through my opponent. My battle, not as a hero of the Taisha, but as a member of the Hero Club, is over. Incredible exhaustion takes over my body as everything turns to black. I regain my consciousness to the feeling of being held by someone. I hear nothing but faint ringing. I open my eyes, but nothing is revealed before me. However, I can feel a warmth. It is a warmth that I have felt before. It can’t be anyone except Yuuna-chan. I reach out and touch her. Her skin is warm and soft. I wish I could see her face and hear her voice. However, it seems that the price of protecting her, the price of protecting the entire Hero Club, was my eyes and ears. But even if I can’t see her, she can see me. I work up a smile. Is she proud me of?
Just saw this episode, did anyone else think this scene was great? There was a lot of emotion packed into a silent scene.
She's a minor character who existed to cause other characters to do things.
She did that.
The 12th episode does not need her at all since it has Togo and Yuuna. If she did show up and actually fight it would have to be after Yuuna changed Togo's mind or something thus making her the final boss, except we already have a final boss and Togo is leading it.
It would not make any sense for her to show up now, not just in universe due to being a cripple in a world that is time stopped but also because this story is about people who are not her.
I remember her as the Alpha Waves girl.
Yuna was best girl and always will be
>"Why didn't Yuuna even cry, I want to see her cry XD"
>"Nooo I didn't want"
>"Why is Karin so useless, I want her to Mankai and be useful :D"
>Karin Mankais several times
>"Nooo I was just jokan"
>"Why did Yuuna lose only taste, I want her to lose more :D XD :P"
Keep going anons, show us how shit you are!
Nationalist moe is the greatest form of moe.
Literally anything else? We have a pretty easy list already in fact.
Karin is fucking Helen Keller if Helen only had one arm and one leg. She is just as bad as Sonoko now if not worse, despite the latter having 20 Mankais.
How can anyone even like Togo?
She's incredibly fucking selfish. Honestly she should just die, nobody asked her to ruin ti for everyone. Maybe if she just told the rest of the girls and they had a nice chat about it none of those would have happened. Stop deciding things by yourself you little cunt.
what the fuck are you even talking about? who are you quoting?
frankly i don't even care that much i just wanted to know why it was different for one girl compared to the other
I don't want her to suffer, but a sacrifice to save everyone
except Tougouis fine.
I won't be able to take a crippled Karin somberly making origami swans alone in infinite, soundless darkness.
Yuuna is going to pull a Madoka?, it seems like everyone going to forget about her from the PV.
To regular people, it's as if there was a huge earth-destroying meteor that's going to kill everything. They have no idea when it'll happen, or even that it will happen, but all of a sudden they'll all just suddenly be dead, poof.
For the girls, you slowly lose parts of your body, suffering every minute of every day, fighting invincible monsters forever, and then you give up and become a log because you can't die.
Don't try and kid yourself. You probably think there's a way out. There isn't. Humanity is fucked. The 5 girls of the hero club have the highest hero potential of every girl alive in the entire world. Once they're gone, there's no more humanity. There is no good end. It doesn't matter if the girls suddenly get better, because if they're not heroes, then nobody will be, and humanity is over.
Because it's a plot hole.
Realistically it would make more sense for the system to be designed in a way the girls lose less important things first. The randomness is just added so the writer can decide "oh, well she doesn't need to lose anything important yet... so sense of taste i guess" and then later on go "this is leEdgy moment so she loses everything in 4 times xDDDD". It's shit writing.
Did you not see what happened to Karin?
Togo knew that would happen to everyone eventually.
They would fight endlessly, until they were unable to do so anymore, and then become IMMORTAL cripples until the world ended anyway since the monsters would keep attacking.
>Honestly she should just die
She is trying her best to do so anon.
>Can't stop Tougou
>Last ditch effort, Shinju-sama gives hundreds of girls hero powers before dying
>S2 is magical girls fighting for the remaining scraps of a ruined city trying to survive
MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Guys, what if the RNG for missing body parts corresponds to your hero aptitude? The best heroes lose the least vital organs for daily life. Of course, you only have so many body parts so the more you mankai you'll lose everything eventually though, it's just the order they are in.
And next week we'll see lasto bossu. I have this feeling everything is going to go horribly.
>at least two of Yuuna's friends will require wheelchairs when it's all over
>Yuuna probably won't have enough working limbs to push a single one
>they all become more or less paralyzed, mute, blind, deaf, etc each retaining enough senses to be able to communicate with each other.
>all placed in a large bed together with Sonoko being together forever
>most communication happens by physical contact, hand-holding, cuddling, etc
Is this how it will end?
Homura didn't do anything wrong and she'd kill Tougou for sure.
Even when turned witch she didn't actually wish to do what Tougou did.
>Honestly she should just die
She wanted to go honorably. They didn't let her.
They didn't provide her emotional support. They left a suicidal teenager alone with her belief in the country that she once was proud of shattered.
Instead she is told that she'll have to keep fighting and see her friends turned into vegetables. All for puny leftovers of humanity in the face of an ever-regenerating enemy.
>evil gods to defeat that would fix it all
I can think of one possibly evil god that could be defeated to fix quite a lot of things.
I'm bad at expressing feelings, but I can feel it deeply..
Probably not proper vision, itsuki can't speak either after all. Instead some substitute. Something that lets her feel the enemies with unerring accuracy without actually seeing them.
Second stratum boss has been defeated. Video is rendering right now, I'll post it when it's done.
Time for questions to you.
First off, there are three endings in this game. After taking into account the fact we need to unlock Karin, we can choose two. In short, the difference is between the final boss. We can fight two humanoids, or have a super tough boss fight with ancient evil. I'd go for the second option, because it seems more fitting, but I'd like to hear your opinions.
I've been thinking about it and the Shinju post from last thread ( >>118522299 ) was perhaps spot on.
It first takes the thing the girls cherishes the most. Fuu wanted too always keep an eye on her sister, she lost one, Yuuna wanted to taste everything, she lost it, Karin was proud of her 2 swords style, she lost an arm, I don't even need to explain for Itsuki, and so on.
Not anon, it's not. It might be unreasonable, but it's right there in your face and doesn't contradict anything in the setting. And it's literally a god's whim? Who the fuck expects gods to be reasonable?
The Vertexes are angels sent down by gods who were pissed off at mankind for some reason.
The summary of the whole backstory is that, it was a war between anti-human gods and pro-human gods. The virus is just a Taisha lie.
My biggest regret in life will be this smile I couldn't protect.>>118525007
Tougou's methods are more like mami forcefully mercy-killing all her friends.
But as far as character development and sheer determination to see her crazy plans through against all opposition goes she's similar to homura.
Killing Tougou won't change anything what are they even trying to accomplish fighting her wtf
Seriously though, shit was sad, I was shaking for a couple seconds there.
No, Mami did some stupid knee-jerking that didn’t really make sense.
If Mami was a Yuusha, she’d gladly take all the suffering. Reminder, she killed the others to protect the world, Tougou is kind of doing the exact opposite. Like Homura.
>I was shaking for a couple seconds there.
I think you mean less suffering.
Togo causing them to suffer for half a day before she ends everything seems better than everyone becoming cripples over weeks/months/years and suffering before retiring, and then having the next generation take their place and having them suffer in the same way.
This cycle would continue over and over until one generation failed and the world ended.
Yes, and so long as the system keeps working mankind can keep on living peacefully like it has so far.
How is it so hard to grasp the idea that it's better to lose a couple of girls a year than all of mankind in a day?
Speculations on how this is going to end? My guess is that Yuuna stops Togo (maybe even kills her) and then goes full potato for the rest of her life, with the two sisters soon following her, after which the new generation will start fighting and so on
I guess they want a chance to talk things out. I mean tougou isn't a shining light of justice either, she's forcing her view on everyone. But so does the taisha.
One of them wants to keep humanity going even if means sacrificing girls at the prospect of things getting better one day.
The other wants to just end it all, seeing only futility and suffering ahead.
The rest of them are stuck in between, they don't care about the grand scheme of things, they just want to be the hero club and good friends.
Well, we don't know.
Those vertex that Karin fought were ready to attack anyway. The only difference was that they had those little white shits flying all over the place. They would have fought again, mankai'd again and it would have continued on and on.
Tougou did the right thing in that even if the world continues to exist like that she forced a change in the status quo. And seeing how soon those vertex regenerated they probably would have run out of heroes faster than finding new ones.
No she isn't, she's enforcing her nihilistic ideals on 4 million people. She should see that she just fucked Karin over completely, but she'll feel nothing about it because to her death is better than living another instant.
>Kill the world to protect her friends
Homura didn't do that though. She recreated the world into a happier one.
It also makes sense that Mami would euthanize them to prevent them from becoming witches since she is a veteran who knows exactly how much death and destruction witches are capable of.
Yuuki Yuuna unlocks super Mankai mode and she evolves into a full god, since she has the highest yuusha potential. She takes over for Shinju-sama , altering the yuusha system so the girls no longer lose anything when they go Mankai. Instead, all the pain is amplified and directed onto her (onii-sama style).
I teared up from the track started playing, and well 5 minutes after the battle ended.
It hurts, it really hurts.
>How is it so hard to grasp the idea
It isn't. I completely agree with you from a utilitarian point of view.
But you know, the sacrifices themselves don't have to like it. And now they're giving their involuntary sacrifices superpowers and it's biting them royally in the ass.
so did Tougou command the space sperms to create the death star or did they just throw something together on their own?
because that thing sorta came out of nowhere and did what she was asking it to do. she could have ended everything right there if it hadn't been for Yuuna. How's she gonna fix everything, why didn't she stop the wild ride already?
also my prediction came true, Tougou & space sperms VS everyone.
Just want to point out that the "you" in next episode's title, "Smile at you", is written as 貴方 (anata).
When referring to others, Fuu and Karin only use their names and "annta" while Yuuna and Itsuki use names and "senpai". The only ones ever use "anata" are Tougou and Sonoko.
Haven't you been watching the episode?
Yuusha post-transformation get their suit and fairy powers substituting for what they lost.
Watch 11 again, right after 1st and 2nd sange, Karin's leg and arm get extra suit grating to support them.
Then after 3rd and 4th she gets those strange bands on her head.
And we've known about Tougou's tentacles for ages.
It is more than likely that once forestize happens, transformed hero gets Shinju powers substituting for any missing senses/appendages.
If track 30 is not the ascent of Yuuna the Kamigoroshi, then it is likely SonokoNacht...
"I told you to leave us in peace, but no, you had to come again... and you harmed my friend, and her cute kouhai. I shall have no mercy for you; abandon all hope ye who entered here"
And then, Sonoko shall rend heavens asunder.
Man, does Mankai do funny things to your chest.
I guess that's why Wasshi went from a modestly-sized city to a disgusting megalopolis.
>She recreated the world into a happier one.
If that was actually true, she wouldn’t have to go against Madoka for that since Madoka would be all for a happier world.
>It also makes sense
No, it doesn’t. It’s clearly shown that at least those magical girls on average kill more witches than they create by witching out, so it’s better for them to stay alive as long as possible.
Except her selfish reason is to protect her friends by killing them, and she took their happiness away and made Karin suffer worse all in a single stroke. They will die in utter despair and misery if she has her way.
She changed nothing besides Karin's new lifestyle as an invalid lost in darkness.
No Leo came out because the others were destroyed by Karin and it has the strongest attack.
And she sort of lead it there as bait. You see here dodge the blast that was sort of aimed at her.
>mfw karin went mankai 4 fucking times
Kill yourself Takahiro, you fucking piece of shit. There is no possible way any of this is going to end daijoubu now.
The Vertex are regenerating at an enourmous speed.
When Tougou first goes out there Virgo is still in the making, shortly after when Karin and Yuuna arrive, Virgo is already ready for battle, and so are several other vertex including Leo. But Leo didn't work with Tougou, Tougou baited Leo to shoot at her then dodged so the fireball would fly at the tree.
The second question, is subclasses.
We unlocked subclasses, which means every character can now learn more spells.
This is where the fun begins.
There are eleven classes we can pick from. Here is a link to all skills if you want to take a deeper look.
For Yuuna, who is a Monk, I was thinking of Zodiac - as it would greatly increase damage she deals with punches.
Tougou is an Arbalist. For her, I would go full Yamato Damashii and pick either Ninja or Shogun. Other option is Gladiator, which would let her deal insanely high damage every two turns.
Fuu, Gladiator, could be a Hoplite or Buccaneer. Hoplite because of her defensive actions in episode 5, or Buccaneer because eyepatch.
Itsuki has one choice, and that's Farmer. Farmers have great binding skill, and other support skills, like singing. Heh.
Karin is not yet with us, but I have zero ideas for her. Only thing I can think of is Ninja.
So yeah, throw ideas and I'll consider everything.
I will always love you, Karin-chan
>It is more than likely that once forestize happens, transformed hero gets Shinju powers substituting for any missing senses/appendages.
Then why does Itsuki have no voice even in forestize-mode and why does Fuu still have the eyepatch?
>1 more week until we find out if she will be daijobou
I swear to fucking god Takahiro if you don't bring me that smile back
Their scenes were so refreshing this episode. The two of them did exactly what I'd hoped they'd do.
It's good to know that in the middle of all of this despair, I can still have nice things.
>There is no possible way any of this is going to end daijoubu now.
Please, writers pull some bullshit all the time.
Look at how they even managed to bring back 3/5 megucas in the last episode and the remaining 2 with a movie.
I don't think you read my post.
The enemies never stop coming. They will always have to Mankai until they no longer do so.
Karin would have ended up a crippled wreck regardless of what Togo did. Togo breaking the wall just made it happen sooner and that was only because she intended to end everything anyway.
Togo wants everyone to stop suffering instead of suffering forever.
It's not like Vertexes only attack when suiciders enable them. Karin would become an invalid lost in darkness anyway. So would Yuuna, Fuu, Itsuki and Tougou herself. There is no happiness for them and death is the only way to avoid becoming a mind in wrecked body without senses.
Say what you want, this is one of the best choices.
>If this world breaks down, we won't be able to be together
Yeah man, it's gonna be fun not being able to see each other, talk to each other and see each other for eternity.
You know, I was planning to rewatch this show next week, before the last episode, but I don't think I can't do it anymore, the level of despair is just too high, I don't want to feel like this again.
But we were told Yuuna would figure something out. She will, believe in her.
>Tougou asks her friends nicely to move away
>she opens fire
>sisters try to counter the shot
>both get btfo
well, talk about determination
Tougou did nothing wrong!
>no wraith to hunt
>no cubes to clean her soul
>she exhausts her gem within a few fights
>congratulations, there is now a witch roaming around inside the last bastion of humanity
But the situation changes drastically if a superior Homu is summoned instead.
She still enhanced the suffering so everyone dies in utter despair rather than coming to terms with their fate. She slso is a sociopath who gives no fucks about humanity, probably because nobody ever loved her.
Then let it happen and cope with it. Suicide is no reason to kill humanity.
She would ruin everything too.
Madoka didn't have the power to change the entire world after her wish.
Homura did so only because she became something akin to an actual god instead of just a god of Mahou Shoujo.
>No, it doesn't make sense.
Mami didn't want her friends themselves to become monsters and suffer, in addition to wanting to prevent more witches from existing.
This is the kind of shit you should figure out about four seconds after seeing it happen.
Don't worry, this will be how it all ends.
Please, someone make a webm with audio of the whole scene for replay purposes.
I'd do it myself if my computer wasn't a potato.
Taisha knows two things:
>Heroes were becoming unstable
>They couldn't do jack shit once time was stopped
It's not much of a stretch to think they left Sonoko with her phone in case things got out of hand.
>everyone calls her useless before ep 11
>now she really is useless for real
>everyone laments her
>resorting to "suffering size" comparison between two completely different shows
>Want to summon a Hero
>Summon the devil instead
>devil saves everyone and gives everyone a happy ending in a new, labyrinth-like world
>it's no different then what Shinju did except no sacrifices are necessary
Humanity needs me and my friends to suffer forever? Fuck them.
Yuuna's hero punch will save Christmas.
I wonder how it'd go if they knew everything from the start, probably not this, that's for sure.
Tougou really acted on impulse because she was alone and it was bit by bit, if she was given all the info at the start it'd have probably gonne better.
Except we already know they took the heroes phones after they went Mankai.
And again, it makes no sense for Sonoko to suddenly become a player in a story that is not about her with no build up to it. She told Togo whatever it is that she said to make TOGO act, because SHE could not and because the story is about the characters in the Hero Club.
What Fuu said here implies that as long as they're being considered as heroes, they can move, doesn't matter if they're holding their phones or not.
>I have no friends so sad im gonna kill myself
>I have an ugly scar on my face so I'm going to mentally break down
>I can't fuck my brother because I'm afraid of social rejection such a drama it is
I think anon was talking about her willingness to shoot friends to achieve her goals
>Yuna flies into punch Togo in the face
>"TOGO-SAN, CLENCH THOSE TEETH"
>At the last second, she un-transforms
>Her de-powered punch won't kill Togo, so her fairy doesn't protect her
I want to believe.
>There are people who choose to suffer over sweet release by death.
Turns out humanity is trapped in a pocket dimension around a magical god tree that is the only thing preventing the forces of evil without from destroying us. Their victory seems inevitable. That's what really reminded me of Night Land. The god tree defends humanity by giving power to young maidens, who cannot use this power without becoming crippled. I can't think of a parallel to that in any of the WHH novel or short stories I've read but it doesn't seem like a topic he'd shy away from.
Also, it's nice to see another human being who knows who Hodgson is.
>But wait you actually do have friends
>You can just use makeup even though this contradicts what was said earlier about corrupted wishes
>You are now a card this totally makes sense
Yeah WIXOSS pissed me off.
