The song seems to imply that Hinata noticed Naruto distortion in regards to how he love things and not understanding love. But still wants to support him even if it's breaking her on the inside in regards to him not responding back to her feelings.
The song suits her because she doesn't seem like the type of character to force her feelings on him especially given his circumstances. But I guess it's is tiring to have to put on a face like everything alright which led to her confessing to him in the pain arc. But he still didn't respond back to her so many years after that.
