I can't hate Sakura. I'm a Riderfag, after all.
Couldn't care less. Post more yandere fate girls
She's not my favorite F/SN girl, but I like her a lot.
Why is Kariya so based on this pic?
>She'd fuck her uncle.
>Here's a little compensation for trying to save me uncle Kariya~!
Also if Sakura finds out that Archer is EMIYA would she want him too?
Is there somewhere I can get all the dark Sakura sprites? This sprite archive I downloaded has all of her other ones except those.
Seems like an alternate reality to me where kariya wins the grail war, zouken realizes he isn't as big of a shit as he initially thought and infests him fully (destroying what was left of his original personality/brain anyway).
It would make sense since they didn't bother to remove zoukens portrait.
Kotomine blew her the fuck OUT though when he said he doesn't want to understand a girl's feelings
holy shit I replayed that part maybe a hundred times
so based, so goat kotomine.
She needed a character rewrite badly. I can look past the worms and her being a slut but she was too fucking shy and not deredere enough in her route before she went maximum bitch. Thus made her 5th best girl.
Don't forget that UBW will just end with him in the hospital and Sakura there to pick up his pieces just like any other time before the Grail War.
Fuck if that doesn't make me angry. The good end should have Sakura in it too. I just want to see her smile ;_;
The UBW Epilogue show that they get along much better than before though.
It realy is a "better" ending for Sakura than Fate because she still for some reason loves(platonic) Shinji
Shinji actually becomes a good person at the end of UBW after returning from the hospital. He quits all the shit he does, apologizes for what he did and becomes a better person.
Yes, Shinji became an asshole after entering High School after he was sent over the deep end. Shinji was the ultimate bro back in Middle School where him and Shirou met not to mention Shinji was there for Shirou the most when Kerry died.
He raped Sakura before that. Because he acted in some way to Shirou doesn't mean he didn't abuse Sakura earlier. He acted as an ass to Shirou became he acted territorial over Sakura.
It's the Nasuverse, rape is like saying hello.
Sakura's body was plauged with Lust worms and Shinji helped her out not to mention how much pressure he was under the Matou Household already. Zouken found out but he didn't stop it so he was cool with it. Not to mention Rape isn't a bad thing in the Nasuverse.
>Sakura forces Shirou on ground, climbs on top of him laughing, takes of her top and uses it to keep him down and then proceds to pound him with her hips.
I'm so jealous.
Shinji a shit. I don't care if it's "helping her out" or if Zouken approves. His personality makes him shit alone.
Guess you hate Dark Sakura as well since she's no better than him.
Seriously they should had done an alt animation for it.
>Dark Sakura will never rape you
>Not powertripping and killing an entire neigbourhood in Miyama.
>worse than murder
Whatever you say edgelord.
Carelessly butchering people I see as being more edgy than power tripping necessarily. She never asks people to bow down and lick her boots nor does she get rustled when they disobey.
In this case, murder was infinitely better in comparison.
How did she pay the people she killed? Just because you suffered at the hands of one person does that mean society owes you something? Do you just group all 'people' together and say 'people' are evil? That sort of perceived injustice is childish.
>implying Dark Sakura killed them consciously
Every time she fully believed she was experiencing a lucid dream. She was for the most part unconscious during those periods and being led by a separate being. Dark Sakura was in control when she awakened to her state. Even the night when she was attacked by Gil she was practically in a frenzied state of mind after experiencing death in the words of Rin.
Dark Sakura did nothing wrong, The Holy Grail's will murdered those people using Sakura as a vessel.
>thinking taking one scene out of context proves anything
Read HF again. If you want to lighten the load, read all the intermissions. Kotomine here is clearly talking about Sakura as she is in that moment. Every sequence with the shadow is described as a dream.
This doesn't change the fact that once she went into that black dress white hair mode she was fully awake and did the exact same shit, while pretending it's the shadow that's making her do it.
If we're talking about lives, then Sakura is also at fault for not ending herself. "At fault" for what exactly? I'm not saying Sakura wasn't evil, she was evil and it was justified because of all the shit she had to put up with.
But that doesn't make Shinji any less of a shit, and it doesn't make Sakura anything other than best girl.
>UBW is way kewler than Heaven's Gate right guise
>she was evil and it was justified because of all the shit she had to put up with.
That's a contradiction anon. Her actions aren't justified, but at best you can say her emotional state that made her want to do what she did is understandable. Understanding something doesn't make it any less evil.
>did the exact same shit
As what? The shadow? That's wrong. She went to Zouken, murdered Shinji and made the transformation then. After that, she immediately went to the Emiya household and abducted Illya, where she endured even more suffering in the castle. Then it leads to her scene with Kotomine. She didn't slaughter innocents like the shadow did.
She didn't give two shits about killing her brother, Illya, Kotomine, and anyone else who might get in her way. She didn't kill unrelated people but she didn't show restraint either.
That's pretty fucking sociopathic m8, killing people that you could just as easily let live (not a kill or get killed situation) just because they're 'bad'. Do bad people not deserve to live?
>mfw someone is making me pick betwee who was more diabolical Kirei or Zouken
It isn't the right thing to do. All i'm saying is that she didn't go after innocent bystanders, they knew what they were getting into.
And Kotomine seriously deserves to die, if only for what he does to those orphans underneath the church.
>didn't give two shits
Come on, even if the LN says she felt "nothing", it's obviously to provide atmosphere. You can't even say she felt "nothing" because she obviously felt some sort of intense relief when she was laughing, but the reality is that it was a huge mixture of swirling emotions. It was the trigger that turned her, you can't say "she didn't give two shits".
Also, you should probably finish the True End, anon.
Illya isn't murdered in either end. Kotomine was "murdered" in the forest, but comes back.Either way, Illya and Kotomine are both magi. You cannot apply a justice system on them, much less morally justify the Holy Grail War itself. They are involved parties in the Holy Grail War, and Sakura is just as justified with killing them as Rin is for attempting to murder Shirou in cold blood.
Shinji a shit, and apparently, Shinji apologists are also a shit.
>if only for what he does to those orphans underneath the church.
>mfw I found out about the orphan powered church thing
Holy fuck I wanted to kill Kotomine so fucking hard
I would kill him so hard he wish he was alive
She was crying after she killed Shinji, read the scene again. And when she abducted Ilya, it was Ilya herself noting that her behavior was odd, including the fact she was shaking over Rin's unconscious body and hesitating killing her. If she was really a monster who enjoyed feasting on people and wanted to take vengeance on the people, then Fuyuki would have a lot more than the 50 or so missing people. Ilya even says she took on the Shadow to stop it randomly running around and she goes notably silent at that. Zouken also noted before this on one interlude that Sakura's hope and will kept the mud back, so he had to troll it out of her with Shirou.
It was that she was running away, and feigning a mask of being an alternate personality, because she was breaking down, which is where Kirei's statement about her rings true. She was still undergoing some serious shit becoming the grail, and it effected her emotionally, plus the blackening does pollute souls, that much was stated in CM3. Its not just that Sakura was just some crazy person, otherwise her reactions in Liberation don't make sense. She wouldn't express guilt and apologize or say she didn't deserve to live if she liked murdering people.
Also, where did people get the idea Shinji apologized post UBW, Shirou just notes on his own that he and Sakura got along better, but he doesn't know about the skeletons in their closet, so the statement is pretty superfluous. At least, Shinji still doesn't have the courage to tell Shirou and Rin what was going on with Sakura, and Nasu said he didn't have any fundamental changes, just that he felt better about himself. What it sounds like is that he doesn't actively act mean toward her anymore, from what Shirou can see, Sakura always treated him nicely, so that shouldn't be part of the equation.
Kirei settled down, married and has a daughter.
Anyone got that picture from Kotomine and/or Shirou talking in the VN where they flat out state Shirou does not suffer from survivor's guilt? I know it got posted a while back but can't find it in the archive.
Zelretch does say Zouken is fundamentally evil along with the Einzberns, even if they were brilliant as magi.
They both had obsessions they were willing to destroy those around them to get. Pretty much defines evil.
I wasn't trying to make a case, was just randomly spitting out a quote. Either way, I'm not really interested in determining who's worse, they're both pretty despicable in a lot of aspects. I do like Kirei more as a character, though.
"Felt bad about it" doesn't change the fact that she crossed the line between "doing it" or "not doing it". I understand the given reason she killed Shinji was because she was scared and didn't have the backbone to handle his bullshit without killing him but she was much stronger than him so that strength should've given her the self confidence to at least let him live, the same is true for Kotomine.
Not so sure about that. From how the conversation went, she planned to destroy it, but couldn't do a thing about it herself. Rin didn't listen to her carefully when she asked them to run(which again, is pretty odd behavior if someone supposedly wants to kill you).
She does literally say when Rin asks her if she wants to give up the power that she couldn't, even if she wanted to.
There was more to this than people realize. Nasu wasn't particularly subtle in saying so, because in the scene Succeed from Deep on day 14, when she was undergoing the blackening process, it noted that she was the King of AM, but also its slave. Meaning she wasn't this dark mistress of evil at all really, but the result of an already broken system.
Are you retarded? Also, Kotomine has enough bad karma to make anyone want to kill him on sight. Also, Kotomine is hardly a human in moral standards, not because he was pretty evil, but because he's a mage. Murder is fair game and just in Nasuverse when magi are involved.
She had the shadow inside of her at this point didn't she? Also that whole mages are fair game argument is nonsense, they're human beings and deserve moral consideration. Just because two magi have an agreement that says it's fine to kill each other doesn't mean it's actually fine, as though they won't feel pain.
Actually during the scene, she defiantly took his punches and told him to stop. Her muscles were torn at the time, and she was binding them together with mana, so it's understandable that she didn't fight back both because she pitied the guy and she used all her strength just walking back to the Matou residence. Shinji starting punching her because she told him to piss off, and knocked her out from behind when she got in the house. Besides, from the scene itself, her killing him was automatic, and she did it before she realized what happened.
See, these are the extra details that people tended to miss by not really taking the time to understand the characters.
Another example, the reason she tells Shirou that she hates the Matou magecraft is because it only takes from people, and she hates that. Her usage of magecraft in Hollow notes she loathes her powers because it takes from people as well, meaning her real personality doesn't want to hurt others. What happened in HF was the result of immense stress and a complex situation.
She is like the person who has a white mage's soul, but was born with powers that don't fit it and had the drain attribute permanently engraved on her on top of that. Then gets all the world's evil grafted onto her soul. Sure says something that she even bothers with magecraft post story.
They do have moral consideration. The morals are plainly laid out for you when Rin talks about the magi world and how vastly different it is from the world plebs know in the prologue and in her conversations with Shirou.
Moreover, the Holy Grail War itself is unjust by our moral standards, but in the context of the Holy Grail War, all the earlier mentioned parties are participants with the same rights as the other, including the right to revoke said rights.
Also, that scene is pretty much when Sakura finally accepts the shadow. They embodied the same entity before and after, but Sakura was not conscious and aware of her actions as the shadow prior to it (excluding a little before when she realizes and promptly marches off to Zouken to tell him to cut that shit out).
She drained her, and then stood over her, hand shaking and convincing herself that she had to kill her. You'd be retarded to think that she was some cold killer after seeing that.
Just because something's acceptable between magi and magi won't take it personally when someone kills them doesn't mean it's any less wrong to be a crazy asshole magi and murder other magi. They have their own code about what's right and wrong but that doesn't mean it's justified to hurt people.
There's no way for you to comprehend the moral implications of such a world because magic and the world of magi don't exist. You cannot expect to apply our moral standards 1-for-1 to it, especially when it concerns magi. Their code is what formally defines what is justified or not regardless of your moral standards.
There's no conversation to be had if we were to simply apply your moral standards. Everybody is unjust simply for participating and not revoking.
Why can't I apply my moral standards on a world of magic? The only thing's I'm concerned with are emotional states of people and the various ways that you can bring about those emotional states. If a magical spell causes someone to feel pain then that's all I need to know, I don't need to know the actual magic. Why can't I simply go "If I was in this situation I would do xyz because that's the right thing to do" like you would with any other hypothetical scenario, and then I can make judgments on the characters if they chose to do something different.
Because the majority of the main characters in F/SN have no problem murdering innocents to get what they want. You have your standards and that's great, but very few characters in the game will share them, and trying to do the right thing just gets you killed or worse.
It's the same as how shirou tries to protect Saber by fighting servants himself. It's a nice idea, but it has no place in the setting.
I'm saying you can't pass them off as fact. I'm not saying you can't have your own opinions based off your moral standards, but to say whether something is right or wrong depends heavily on the context. I can't apply my country or state's laws to a different one no matter how I try, a formal legal jurisdiction will always refer to their own code of law.
If you want to tell me what you think is right or wrong, that's fine, I don't particularly care either or since it's only what you think and I have my own opinions. What is right or wrong in the Nasuverse can only be formally defined and referred to by Nasu, so as far as I'm concerned, magi on magi murder is fair game, and inflicting pain is just means to that end.
Kotomine could have only been "murdered" by crushing his heart, and even then the asshole didn't truly die.
What is 'considered' right or wrong among magi is something only Nasu decides because only he decides what the character's people's thoughts and opinions are. What 'is' right or wrong is something that can be determined empirically and has nothing to do with people's attitudes towards right or wrong, or the law's.
There is a 'right' answer, and fact is we've been sitting here this whole thread discussing just that.
Yes, the right answer is that it's fair and just. Kotomine is literally a bastard who is practically a participant of the Holy Grail War, and the ways to eliminate him are numbered, Sakura just picked one and her murder of him can hardly be considered wrong, especially in the context of Nasuverse.
>I will see grown Sakura in my lifetime
I have faith in ufotable.
Honestly I hate/really dislike dark sakura/shadow sakura but I really like regular Sakura
I just don't think that sakura's enitrely to blame for not being able to deal with the burden of the grail and dealing with the knowlage that the shadow is using her to kill and eat people when she sleeps.
Zouken has soul Alzheimers, while evil it's because of his decaying sanity.
Kotomine will string people along for as long as possible to watch them suffer.
Her only personality traits are victim and "evil". All her scenes are her either cooking or switching between "Doki doki sempai" and "Im going to kill everyone."
Would you sacrifice the young to save a decrepit old man?
Gil died thousands of years ago, and is just screwing around in fuyuki rather then doing anything important with his second chance. His time passed long ago.
But Gil is an exceptional person who makes the Nasuverse a more interesting place. What were those orphans going to do with their lives that justifies denying an existence who is far more likely to do important shit than they are?
>But Gil is an exceptional person who makes the Nasuverse a more interesting place.
>King of NEETs
>Doing anything beneficial at all
Is explaining to me why I'm wrong a game to you?
I'm aware that keeping lions alive is not moral, but because we don't want to deny the world the existence that is called lions we allow this evil thing to continue to happen because we believe there's some special value in them or maybe we're just being sentimental. The same is true for Gil. He might not provide the world with some great utility in an immediate sense but I'd still rather keep him alive because he makes things more interesting and may one day turn out to be important.
How does he make anything exceptional? What has he done in the 10 years since he regained a human body? There is no way to know what those orphans might have ended up being. For all we know, they might have ended up becoming heroes themselves like Shirou.
In F/HA we can clearly see she's a strong girl inside. She becomes the captain of the Archery club, and sometimes snaps at Shirou for doing stupid shit. Sakura is a quiet girl but she says what's on her mind if she needs to.
Well he participated in the holy grail war for one thing, and changed the course of events in some ways. That's already more significant than some random orphans' astronomically low potential to cure cancer or something.
This isn't about what's right or wrong anymore, you're just talking about what you prefer, and I'm in agreement, it is more interesting to feed the orphans. Doesn't make it right though.
On the other hand, pic-related is always right and is the definition of justice.
Hey I don't think that she is the always right
That decision to go to grampa's house by herself was the most retarded decision in the entire story.
Almost as stupid as Shirou trying to fight for saber in Fate.
You're in the wrong thread, buddy.
Except he didn't change the outcome of any of the routes. He died in all of them and the world was saved. If Shirou could kill GIlgamesh, then it is certainly possible for another random orphan to do it.
What is it Sakura-chan? Cannot seem to win your man from the clutches of Rider?
They can share, they tight like that.
I don't know about that. She gets jealous and angsty really easily.
Abused and In love are her circumstances.
Sakura's a pretty decently written "Broken character". She's not polarized as a character you should pity, characters, namely Rin and Kotomine, call her out on her falts during her breakdown period.
She's frustrated and is pushed over the edge when she feels like she'll lose her only joy, Shirou, because she was dealt a shitty hand. After finally getting the only thing she wanted she destined to die soon after and he'll be left with her sister that was given everything she didn't have.
Also, her relationship with Rin is well done. She's not necessarily angry at her but, is taking out her rage on Rin because she was the one person she felt should've been there for her but wasn't even though they cared about each other.
I don't care if you don't like Sakura but, she's pretty far from no "personality" and is one of the better Fate characters
Avenger suffered enough, stop blaming him.
It said in hollow that he wasn't completely aware of what was happening as he was still a corpse but his suffering and the burden of all the world's evils still were forced on Sakura to carry.
Honestly avenger is one of my favorite things to come from hollow.
It's like you didn't read F/HA.
>complaining about doujins
So I guess Tohsaka doesn't please old men for money and fuck pigs right?
Not that anon but she doesn't though.
I never make those jokes because I know how stupid it is to basically use fan fiction as evidence of a character's personality/motivations.
By that logic EMYIA is actually GAE for CU's blog
>By that logic EMYIA is actually GAE for CU's blog
>but she doesn't though
Because at that point she is in control, that wasn't the case when the mass killings were going on.
That image gets posted far too much and almost always out of context.
Well I mean Bolg
I sure as fuck am not going to be summoned as a heroic spirt for my spelling and typing ability
In her defense she and Shirou are slowly becoming retarded in HF.
>Shirou are slowly becoming retarded
Shirou is literally killing his braincells from using Archer's arm in HF and they aren't regenerating because Avalon is not in effect.
Sakura is becoming retarded because she's losing her humanity each time she absorbs a Heroic Spirit's soul.
How about here?
>implying she doesn't
She's confirmed to sleep around in HF.
>She's confirmed to sleep around in HF.
>Posts pic from F/HA
The pic wasn't supposed to be the proof of it, it's just showing how she's an STD-infested slut in F/HA who happily infects Shirou.
She has a grandchild in HF Normal, and talks about how she still feels bad about losing the Shiroubowl despite sleeping around with so many other men in HF True.
>s-she's just trolling!
Keep telling yourself that.
>it's just showing how she's an STD-infested slut in F/HA who happily infects Shirou.
Also Rin is a traditional Magus, she has to keep the Tohsaka family blood going. She really has no choice but to settle down in HF Normal.
>going on a few dates that didn't last long
It's like your acting retarded on purpose.
>That was retconned, though.
There's always that one Sakura fag who keeps going on about how in the realta nua version she is totally a virgin and has a hymen that's completely intact.
It might be the same person who thinks we'll get 8 HF movies because both require such an amazing amount of disillusion
The edgiest facts HA tells us about Rider are that she is a
latent sadist and nympho.. Never has it been mentioned she does slut around. So cut all the hypothetical shit out of your head.
Just like Shirou's secret treasure entails.
>s-she totally didn't have sex during her dates, not my pure tsundere waifu!
Newsflash: Her happening to have a hymen in her H-scenes doesn't make her pure as a person.
Newsflash: Your post applies to all women.
>It might be the same person who thinks we'll get 8 HF movies
Rude. I mentioned that number simply because it's the amount of movies KnK got, and even then most of those are only 1-hour long and won't match UBW's running time once it's finished.
I have nothing to do with that other guy.
No, newfag trying too hard to fit in, we all know you belong in /b/. Sakura's a great and well-loved character, and you should deal with it. You can keep shitposting, it won't change shit.
Best fate girls are all non-virgins.
Friendly reminder that Sakura could have killed herself like Gil told her to at any time but was too selfish, and instead decided to become a power-tripping serial killer because woe-is-me.
Well, I wouldn't have killed myself either, especially when the people who put me into that situation are alive.
But what keeps her from doing it is that Shirou's already trying to save her, and he starts doing it before the shadow even kills anyone.
Gil could have also saved her from making the contract in the first place by abandoning his plans to douse the world's populace in manjuice and destroying the grail, or telling Sakura she would be free of AM by destroying the grail system.
Hell, he could have told her exact details about AM and what would happen beyond, "you won't be able to die if you become too familiar with it". Become familiar with WHAT mah gaijin nigga?
The Ilya route.
>HF Gil did nothing wrong
Fixed, he didn't have the time.
>she gets jealous and hysterical for unexplained reasons
Those unexplained reasons are that Medusa has an E- rank in the Wingman skill. Girl just doesn't like people doing things behind her back.
Medusa is scared as fuck of Sakura finding out about her sneaking a taste of his blood for a reason.
why can't shirou just donate blood to her with bloodbags instead of just violenting sexual assaulting him and drinking his blood while shes crying in shame and self-disgust?
oh well more for my boner anyway
Gawain was the best wingman, nobody can ever change that.
Seriously. I don't know what Medusa thought picking Sakura up and rubbing her tits I'm front of a dense guy like Shirou was going to do but make him think the two are lesbians, considering how forward Rider is with Ayako.
His secret flower garden meter is off the charts at this point.
I hate you.
Did Sakura give Touko bigger made-up measures for Shirou's dick when the puppet body was being made? I can imagine this, sounds like something she'd do.
>Shirou's soul reshaped it.
Well, that's convenient.
Too bad that's wrong.
>t-that poll doesn't count!
It does, deal with it.
Come on we were having a nice civil Sakura thread
Why are you trying to stir shit now?
Isn't there a saber/rin thread that you could be posting in now?
After second cour. So expect it around July/August.
Don't mind him, that guy post the same unfunny images in every fate thread.
>posting an image that has been posted countless times in theard with the intent of upsetting anyone
I don't care if you don't like sakura and I care even less about your opinion if you're going to keep on spamming the wormslut may may
Would Sakura + Lancelot be the ultimate combo?
They would win the war in 12 hours.
Couldn't they have loli Sakura or Zouken supply Lancelot mana and have Kariya act as a pretend master? Wasting such a good heroic spirit on someone not fit to be a master was kind of dumb.
>Wasting such a good heroic spirit on someone not fit to be a master was kind of dumb.
Zouken get more and more retarded.
He probably forgets his own name 2 years after the HGW
I wanted Lancelot to win so bad.
Fuck you Saber.
That's not entirely a bad assessment, although Dark Sakura is rated too high when one or two of the CCC types probably fill her niche but better already.
Depending on what exactly you see as her style.
No, Kiritsugu + Robin Hood is the best combo with that guy.
Assassin sucks outright, but Robin aligns entirely to Kerry's style by nature, is competent in the way that he'd only lose out if forced to go against his nature, and if it ever comes down to battle he's not an all out loss. Also he can turn Kiritsugu invisible among other things.
Robin has the ability to disable foes by 60% before the battle ever starts, especially if they come as a group. He's like an Assassin who's really an Archer in terms of usage, who can also poison someone from a few miles over if he wants. Sniping level is Emiya tier, can fight up close if forced, can turn invisible, and has druid magic/knowledge.
In the final events of the Fourth Holy Grail War, Zolgen (Matou Zouken) acquired the fragments of the destroyed Grail. He combined the fragments with his Crest worms, which he put inside Sakura's body. Though she was incomplete, this turned her into a second Lesser Grail.
In the scene with her and Kariya’s death, the first draft of the plot was really too inhumane. After the author of the original work scolded him with “What color is your blood, anyways!?” it became one of the few scenes that the author stopped. So in the end, Sakura’s monologue was very mild and calm. …It was like that. No, really.
Sakura’s body does indeed have fitting potentials to become a magus. On this matter she was far better than Kariya and his elder brother Byakuya. Yet, it was inevitably a potential more appropriate for a magus of the Tōsaka brand of thaumaturgy, with fundamental differences to the thaumaturgy of the Matō.
The black mud in the Holy Grail contaminates the souls of those who touch it. It goes without saying for mere humans, and supernatural beings like Servants are no exception to this either. The contaminated person's personality reverses toward the orientation of evil. This is madness caused by touching Angra Mainyu. This is called "blackening". There are those who can use the black mud as part of their own power thanks to the properties of its contamination and those whose powerful egos have stayed back its mental pollution.
An example of the former is Matou Sakura and the latter is Gilgamesh. The blackened Servant is incarnated by the power of the Grail so the more concrete ties to the physical plane turns them into powerful beings.
Their physical interference power increases but at the same time they lose the ability to return to spirit form.
Also, as they no longer bother to restrain their magic energy consumption, their fighting ability jumps significantly. This momentum can be compared to a runaway train.
Because they are in that state, fine control is not possible, but in exchange, their destructive power increases.
They are fearful beings inflicting havoc and death upon the world. These are blackened Servants.
Second oldest son of the Matou family, one of the three founding Mage familes.
Although his Magecraft aptitude was higher than his brother's, he hated the vile nature of the Matou family's magic. To save Sakura, the daughter of Aoi Tohsaka, he agrees to participate in the HolyGrail War. As a side effect of the Crest Worms, half his body is twisted and distorted.
The Matou family uses Worms in their Magecraft. In combat, they can be summoned and employed at will. There are various kinds, including the flesh-eating Blade Wing Worms that Kariya employs, and the Crest Worms that crawl around the Worm Pit.
In fact, at that point he had probably already decided that he had no choice but to bet everything on Byakuya conceiving an heir that would turn everything around. Unfortunately, in the end his longshot gamble backfired spectacularly, and instead of a miracle that would save his lineage, he got Shinji.
By the way, even Kariya's childhood friendship with Aoi was set up by Zouken, who had become aware of the Zenjou family's excellent hereditary trait long before the Tohsaka. However, due to Kariya turning his back on sorcery and getting cockblocked by Tokiomi, the old man's plans once more came to nothing.
…Well, Kariya bringing his beloved Aoi back to some horrid worm pit was never going to happen in the first place. Maybe if the Matou sorcery was a little more normal, he would have been willing to obediently accept his inheritance and become Tokiomi's rival for Aoi's affections.
For a makeshift magus, Kariya's suitability as a Master was exceptional. The fact that he was able to endure the maddened Lancelot's outrageous magical energy consumption for as long as he did is a feat truly deserving of praise. While he might have been better off if Zouken hadn't punished him by forcing him to summon a Berserker, well… I hate to say it, but the only reason Lancelot was able to fight Gilgamesh as well as he did was due to the parameter boost from being maddened. And given the single-minded devotion with which Kariya was pursuing Tokiomi, there's no way you could expect him to have the prudence to avoid that powerhouse team and survive to the very end. When all's said and done, as long as he carried the Matou spirit of putting grudges before everything else, he was probably doomed to failure no matter what.
As far as the Matou family's sacrifices in the Fourth Holy Grail War go, for the small price of a ruined home defense barrier and a grievous injury to Byakuya's wrist, they were able to get their hands on fragments of the Holy Grail. Too cheap, too cheap! Grandfather is laughing.
Though Zouken allowed Kariya to participate in the Grail War, he mostly did it just to punish him – if Kariya had actually won, he probably wouldn't even know how to react.
Originally, Zouken had been content to turn a blind eye to Kariya's transgressions as long as he was living the wretched, fearful life of a runaway, but his extremely un-Matou-like willingness to heroically sacrifice himself bought him the old man's ire. Probably, it was the warped pride of a living, rotten corpse at work. Like, "When did my own flesh and blood get so damn impudent!?" or something to that effect.
By the way, Zouken thought that Kariya had died when all the crest worms were killed by Berserker's rampage.
The reason that Kariya, finally free, was able to return to the Matou mansion and reach Sakura's side without any issues, was because Zouken had rushed off to the scene of the fire to see if he could find anything worth salvaging.
In fact, they must have literally just missed each other. It seems Kariya has a talent for seizing odd strokes of good luck at the height of misfortune.
>get your post deleted for being shitty bait
>still trying to force your epic worm maymay
Sakura haters never learn, do they?
Why is Sakura such a slut?
>everyone on /a/ is 1 person
Wormslut fags will always be retarded won't they? Oh well, a shitposter has a shitty waifu, not surprising.
>i-if I shitpost enough, it represents all of /a/!
2006 called, it wants its wormslut maymay back.
>I'll call reaction images badly drawn as if it matters! That'll show him!
Oh, but she is one. Haven't you played Realta Nua?
To state the fact, Matou Sakura is not a pure virgin, but a woman who knows men.
Seriously why does It always come to this shitty meme. It's about as funny as Rin pleases old men for money after the 1000th time.
Fucking hell you're just as annoying as that shitposter who talks shit about the VN and VNs in general in fate threads
>as soon as she gets the opportunity
She had the opportunity for a while and didn't kill Zouken.
She only ever had sex with Shinji because she liked it, that is a fact.
>being autistic enough to make all these pictures
Together they are a force capable of ruining all of my hopes and dreams
You are showing aggression towards me, but you are really mad at yourself.
Just accept her for who she is and we can all be happy.
I'm making more right now.
>I'm making more right now.
This is what Sakura haters are like, everyone. Shitty crossboarders from containment boards like /sp/ and /pol/ who try to force unfunny maymays while spamming some of the shittiest attempts at OC ever seen.
>these two delinquents knock on your door in the middle of the night and demand to sleep on your bed while you get the couch or the floor
I am actually not that annoyed because before you came into here the thread was dying and no one was posting but now that you're here we have a subject of conversation so I guess I should be grateful
I saved that Rin one too, if it makes you feel better.
Why are you so upset over imaginary cartoon characters?
You're not funny.
This is coming from a Rinfag.
So, how strong is this Sakura? Did the Matou worms fuck her magic potential forever or will she ever be able to kick serious ass?
Sakura is a good girl who likes her senpai's dick, you can't spell damaged goods without 'good', and ur a faget.
Did I do good shitposter-sama?
Man I was hyped up for nothing that really is an abomination.
I was never said Sakura wasn't good, I simply want everyone to accept her for who she is.
I don't like seeing people deny that she likes worms, or that she didn't have consensual sex with Shinji multiple times.
I'll do better with the next one, I promise.
OK, I don't like her much either
(looks too much like the game is shaming me into loving her "WHY WON'T YOU JUST LOVE HER DON'T YOU SEE HOW MUCH SHE SUFFERED, SHE HAD, LIKE, A MILLION FLASH-EATING WORMS IN HER VAGINA, A-A-A-AND HER GRANDAFTHER RAPED HER DAILY WITH A BIG WORM DILDO, WHY DON'T YOU LOVE HER, YOU SICK BASTARD!!!"), but why is her not being a virgin a problem? Who cares?
The whole /a/ are virgins, does it mean we still aren't awful people? Why is she considered a slut if she was non-voluntarily raped by magic worms? And even if she was, why does it matter? These worms likely didn't pass on STDs to her, so the only difference is she's more sexually experienced.
I just don't get why can you disregard everything good about the character just by saying "slut".
>this fucking Sakura hater meltdown
Holy fuck, where did this retard come from? Next time somebody tries to call Sakurafags shitty, I know where to point them.
I just kinda went along with it, but in retrospect it would work really well as black comedy, if it was lampshaded more. Kinda like Umineko did with all the ridiculous gore.
But then again, overdo it, and you make it look like the heroine wasn't really suffering... It would need a balance.
