So Mangastream just put this up.

Edgy and cathartic at the same time.

Whats the opinion, /a/? Full on Edgemaster? Or worthwhile read?

Now we have the younger Kishimoto to compare to the older.

How about no?

You don't like Mangastream? What is this? Backwards day? They do the best translations compared to mangapanda's crap.

>>
>>118353355
A tad odd, if anything.
The whole eye for an eye thing, i wonder how he's going to spin a story out of it.

Besides going for the "an opposing organisation" will fight against them 'cause killing people is wrong. Or the reporter friend grows a weird set of morals and start working against it.

Either the main dude breaks the rules when he's confronted by the person who hurt him and gets scrapped and put on the hit list.

Kishi's the guy who edgemaster supreme sasuke uchiha remember.

The younger brother already made a manga called 666 Satan.

You realize he's written other series before, right?
>>
>>118353987
Dunno. May have to see if its any good. But maybe we now know where the elder Kishi got all the inspiration for Sasuke. His edgy as shit twin brother.
>>
>>118354055
Any good?
>>
>>118353355
Too much edginess but silly.I think this is shit.
>>
>>118354055
This one is for shounen but this series is not lighthearted enough like satan.
>>
>>118354110

Worth reading (if you like battle manga); terrible ending.
>>
>>118354171

They're both shonen, you retard.

And it's about as light-hearted as Naruto.
>>
>>118354074
I don't recall 666 being particularly edgy, but it has been years since I skimmed through it.
>>
>>118353355
And the whole reasoning behind criminal jurisprudence was thrown away....
>>
>>118353355
The fact that the japanese government had a vengeance law back in the early 1900s is fascinating though. So this is some japanese culture coming back I suppose.
>>
As Japan's population grows older and smaller, and murder rates sky rocket, the Japanese government began to implement stricter laws against the worst criminals. With even the death penalty lacking the deterring force to stop the most violent criminals, Japan brought back to life a law from the 19th century: the "Revenge" law. This law will now allow victims and their related parties to employ a government special forces agency to capture the murderer and reenact the exact same methods with which the victim died onto the murderer.

Yamagishi Yuji is the 7th member of the Special Forces "Sukedachi-nin." Each of the members of this special forces have been chosen to enforce the Revenge law because they too have been a victim of past crimes. [DrCoke]
>>
>>118354250

It's not. Satan blows up a town and some parental figures die, big whoop.
>>
>>118353355
Didn't know Jump targets for edgy teenagers these days.

Holy shit, this was edgemaster to the point that young Kishi must be bleeding buckets while drawing the sketch.
Assistants must be dying like flies.
>>
From the description we know that the hero is not some twisted shit because he works under law.its only chapter 1 and you can't judge anything from chapter 1 and more so because the genre is shounen
>>
In other words this is Sasuke: The Avenger
>>
>>118354327
I honestly can see several places where they could take it.

1. Weekly Bad Guy. Law and Order style. Crime. Trial. Execution.
2. Crime Boss big bad.
3. Political pressure to abolish the system and anti-Revengers trying to stop the revenge killing.

Otherwise, I dunno. Slow reveal of each person and their tortured past and why they do what they do. Parade of victims and irredeemable killers. The one 'falsely convicted guy' arc. Got to be one of those.
>>
>>118354436
>hero is not some twisted shit because he works under law

One of the best excuses I have ever read.
Infact this shit is outright hilarious, read for lols.
>>
>>118354450
Welcome to Japan's version of The Punisher.
>>
>>118353355
They're twins, right? It's still creepy how they draw the same.
>>
>>118354581
Who is supported and promoted by the law.
>>
Wait, I think theres another older series about employing other people to enact revenge/vengeance, it got time limits and the other party get to employ bodyguards.
>>
>>118354652
They must have practiced and worked with one another. Developing similar art styles.
>>
>>118353355
that's some shitty coloring

what did the scanlator do to it
>>
>>118354690 here, I just remembered, its freesia.
>>
>>118354785
Mangastream. Probably was shitty to begin with.
>>
The best part:-

>In the event that the condemned is able to achieve a Kaeri-Uchi, the vengeance execution will be terminated. As the victor of the duel, they will earn the right to a pardon for three years of amnesty after which they will be euthanized and receive a peaceful painless death.

Can it get more stupider.
>>
>>118354850
A 'peaceful, painless death by hanging'. That is if the rope doesn't break their neck when they drop. And yeah, all this is so edgy its laughable.

Japanese justice system is flawless, there's no false convictions. It's impossible.

They are twins, but their respective success is on a different scale. It's fascinating, actually. Let's help Seichi out by making him the more popular brother.
>>
>>118355242
It is just comedic gold, this could be one of the most unintendedly funny shit written.
>>
>>118355384
But Seichi is worse than Masashi
>>
>>118353987
beginning was mediocre, then got good after timeskip, then got bad after 2nd timeskip
>>
>>118354173
Why is Japan so obsessed with final villains that have stupid "I will create eternal peace by making everyone one and removing individuality" plot?
>>
>>118355440
Funnier than the chapter were the comments of Mangastream readers.
>>
>>118355767
Because he does work?
>>
>>118355767
>removing individuality
Their current lifestyle drone workers might be the influence.
>>
>>118355767
Meh. Its a cliche final villain that actually works because his motivations are somehow in the least bit empathizable.

I prefer the villains that are in it for the evilulz.

Millennium Earl was my favorite for that. Dude just wanted to fuck up everybody. And laugh at his deals.
>>
>>118356018
Kefka too. So not enough of those. The true psychotic sociopath.
>>
>>118355767
You need the final villain to have a world scale goal to make the protagonist look like a savior of the world
>>
>>118353355
Even though it follows a stupid logic of how law and punishment work, I love gritty revenge stories.
Especially if they are creative in their punishments like the fly paper in this one
>>
>>118355767
Fallen heroes make the best villains, prove me wrong
>>
>>118353355
It is similar to Freesia by Jiro Matsumoto

What happened? Compared to 666 Satan and Blazer Drive, this has so much edge, a geometry proof about all the edges could win the Fields Medal or some shit.
