So I was thinking about why people calling Tougou a bitch pissed me off so much, and then I realized it: that word is completely wrong. It shows a total lack of understanding or any attempt at all to understand her thought process. A bitch is one who attacks others to harm them, generally in a psychological way. Tougou isn't like this at all. She's undergone forced labor along with her friends to fight alien creatures and all she gets out of it is disabilities and better food. Honestly, food? And none of them were even told the reason why they were being sacrificed, and were even lied to. So within a couple of days she finds out that she had already gone through that same process before, lost her memories of her best friend, and is doing it again, and then found out that there are an infinite number of respawning enemies and no end in sight. If there was an end, she would likely be fine with it. But the world has ended. There's no more universe outside of their tiny island. She had the choice of either fighting until she became a crippled immortal log, or ending it all and saving them the pain. Because if she didn't do it now, they'd just take her phone away like they did for Sonoko and lock her up forever, undying, and alone.

So no, she's not a bitch. You may find a different word if you'd like, but she wants to end her and her friends suffering in the only way she can.

Karin will take it completely seriously, burst into tears, and make a passionate speech trying to break up the fight. Then Sonoko and Yuuna will just laugh, hug, and suddenly be close friends while they go chase down Tougou for a threesome. Karin will respond to this by producing a reaction image you'll all spam until the end of time.

You know, in episode 5 forestization happens in the middle of the day, so you would think the sun would be shining on this side of the Earth when we see it from space here. This would imply that the Earth we see during forestization here is different from the Earth they think they are seeing outside Shinju's walls. Going by that Tower of Babel theory people talked about, this could mean that being under Shinju-sama's protection puts them in some sort of realm of the gods type thing, or maybe the afterlife. Maybe Shinju's pocket dimension is heaven and outside of it is hell, or something like that. Then the real Earth still exists normally and if Shinju is destroyed they could return to it instead of being cast into eternal hellfire.
