Nothing. Just let the story end where its ended, its a nice self contained story. A second season would only shit all over it and probably feel forced in no matter how they handled it.

I put off re-watching it too but I'm glad when I finally did. Key is to just pace yourself, spread each episode out a bit. Maybe its just me but I can rewatch almost anything over and over again and still get enjoyment out of it.

When Ryuuko beats her in the naturals election the only thing left of her Goku uniform is the monkey bones. So it's kinda implied yeah.

No second season, there needs to be a follow-up movie. It would probably be similar to the second half of TTGL.

They never quite explained what happened to the stuff beneath Ryuko's house. They just speculated that Mikisugi took it. Maybe that could come in relevant, along with the starching bullet.

Ignoring that those angles aren't pushed in the show, I can at least kind of get the Mikisugi thing, he strips a lot, and with Ryuko being MC, we see him strip a lot around her. I wouldn't really call that reason enough for a pairing, but okay.
