Outline
Yuya, who finds it impossible to stop the duel between Sora and Yuto, dives into the duel, Pendulum Summoning his "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". So the Fusion world is one where Ener-D and thus Synchro was never invented, Fusion was thus always seen as the highest form of summoning as the Duel Academy became the most influential institution in the world, Synchro world is 5ds world, where ener-D and Synchro were invented, and Zero reverse killed off the original DM cast (But not Testu), XYZ world is one where the Heartland took away the spotlight from the academia and pendulum world is the "lightest timeline", one that more or less follow tech development from DM and Gx in a more starightforward manner, the DM cast might be still alive and be the "pros" they talk so much about, or be dead, but of old age, Ener-D was invented but Zero reverse didn't, thus leading an increase in technology and development of not only synchro but also XYZ, not allowing the academy to grow so influential and leaving a market open for competitors like LDS. Of course the details of what happened in each timeline may vary wildly when they are actually revealed, but I think it's pretty likely they are alternate futures of some previous point in the yu-gi-oh franchise.
