A moment of silence for those deceived by the Taisha.
It's Itsuki's birthday!
I hope you got her a present, anon.
Be thankful that you've been given the ability to defend your home and the people you care about without the risk of death.
Fuu will definitely make it a memorable birthday.
>"Let me show you what I learned in Tortuga. Those French wenches know tricks you wouldn't believe!"
That's nonsense. Without Shinju-sama and Taisha humanity would be extinct.
Something completely horrifying is going to happen and she's just going to be repeating "everything will be daijoubu" over and over again and her friends will finally begin to realize that something isn't right with that girl
Something she cares about like
memories of her time spent with Tougou.
Would you take on your favorite yuusha's sange effect in order to cure her?
If only there were an easy, painless way to self-inflict muteness.
Hawking is a pretty funny guy. He even "played" himself on several occasions in the Simpsons. And by "played", I mean that he typed out his lines on his computer and they recorded the computer's voice.
Nooo, how will she be able to hold hands then
>"D-don't pull it!"
Since they can lose nonphysical things like memory, what if Shinju-sama takes Karin's or Yuuna's
sanitywhen they mankai?
I could see it.
We don't know exactly how the brain stores memories but one of the things we know is that a single memory is composed of several cells and connections all over the brain and not in a single region. It's like a chain of nerves wriggling all over the brain instead of a single storing point so it's highly unlikely that just cutting a chunk of her brain out would erase all her memories but only small portions of it. Unless Shinju-sama cut out the exact nerves that trigger the electrical impulse.
All of this means: Takahiro didn't give a flying shit while writing because it's magic, he ain't gotta explain shit.
I never said it should. Don't jump to conclusions.
While everyone was busy chasing Fuu around she set up on a building and is sniping Taisha HQ
>so it's highly unlikely that just cutting a chunk of her brain out would erase all her memories but only small portions of it
You need to brush up your neuroscience. While we don't know everything about the brain it's not a total blackbox either.
>A pure form of RA is rare as most cases of RA co-occur with AA. A famous example is that of patient ML. The patient's MRI revealed damage to the right ventral frontal cortex and underlying white matter, including the uncinate fasciculus, a band of fibres previously thought to mediate retrieval of specific events from one's personal past.
You expect the author to be knowledgeable on a subject which you yourself admitted not much is known about even by experts. Why should the onus be on a fiction writer to explain shit that even scientists can't?
I'm not sure what your point is, but I'm not reading that shit.
No one dies
Pic related, it's slice of life
First boss defeated! Managed to beat him without anyone dying.
Onward to second stratum.
Cut inbetween phases because it involved walking and fighting trash for like 7 minutes.
>Posting one random example
I was actually referring to more based and currently actual research and not the usual momentual knowledge that dies every few weeks.
The only thing we do know is that we know nearly nothing about the brain since everything we think we know only last's a little while.
What are you even talking about? I never said a thing about the author having to know this and I never said he should look it up for YYY either, you just want to be a bitch.
It's funny that I'd be more upset about CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT than the prospect of managing to suicide.
Not that japan will show successful suicides on-screen for anything but unmemorable, depressed salarymen in their 40s.
The point is that you can take a few years of memory by taking a small chunk of the brain, if you just pick the right one.
And I'd think gods that take human sacrifices in installments can pull that off.
I was confused as hell
>"Hey girls I wanna show you something"
>takes out a ceremonial blade with a serious look on her face
>Tougou what are you doing with that kinf...
>check OST releases planned for December
>YuuYuuYuu on 10th
>Haikyuu on 17th
>WIXOSS (fucking finlly) on 19th
>mandatory Sawano OST for NnT and Parasyte on 24th
>GochiUsa, Tokyo Ghoul and maybe YnS to check out in the following 2 days
>I never said a thing about the author having to know this
>Takahiro didn't give a flying shit while writing because it's magic, he ain't gotta explain shit.
I'm not even trying to be a bitch. I just hate the idea that fiction needs to be ultra-realistic.
But if she tried something non-lethal, there was a chance fairies wouldn't intervene.
She probably started with a knife, and then proceeded to more complex types of suicide in order to see exactly how far does the fairy power reach.
I'm sayint that this doesn't make sense:
>Takahiro didn't give a flying shit while writing because it's magic
We do know that removing the right parts of a brain would cause selective retrograde amnesia. We also have a rough idea which parts those would be.
Just because current-day medical science doesn't know all the exact doesn't mean it's medical bullshit.
Of course it IS magic, but that doesn't change the fact that you can still equate a small body part to a few years of memory.
I already said that in my first post anon.
>just cutting a chunk of her brain out would erase all her memories but only small portions of it.
Were my words. Why do you want to discuss this so much when we're basically saying the same thing?
Her bladder control. Please let it be her bladder control.
How come I liked this show better than a certain other shows authored by the same person?
Is it the girls? Is it the friendship? Is it the implicated /u/? Is it because of Togo's Togos?
Just what is it /a/?
How many people were expecting blood spray
>Caring about MAL scores
>Caring about scores that uses decimals in a 1-10 system
>Not that japan will show successful suicides on-screen for anything but unmemorable, depressed salarymen in their 40s.
There was one this season. Not a very relevant character though.
>still such a low score
Enjoying little girls suffering is apparently ingrained in every human's brain, even in those with shit taste.
I only know 3: AgK, this show, and Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de. But he works for Minatosoft which made Majikoi (that I also liked, somewhat), unless Majikoi is by another author...?
Meanwhile all Gyuki has to do is make sure Yuuna doesn't eat herself into a coma
>Year of Shinju 300
>Google is still around
Oh yeah. Something died there.
Fuu is blushing too.
We never actually got an explanation for how much or what of her memories is gone. He ain't gotta explain shit, it's not relevant to the show since the Shinju is far enough ahead of humanity that is actions are called magic even though they could be perfectly scientifically grounded.
>Is it the girls?
Cute girls doing cute things is fairly boring.
Cute girls doing action things is somewhat entertaining, but nothing to call home about.
Cute girls in some very nice magical girl designs is enough to keep me coming back for a few episodes. Even more so their mankeis.
Cute girls suffering and making war vet faces is delicious.
>Is it the friendship?
Not friendship per se. The team dynamics are great though. Fuu as big sis and lecherous old man in personal union is great. Yuuki doesn't have much of a character on her own but injects energy into everything. Tougou is their thinker.
>Is it the implicated /u/?
Certainly a bonus but it doesn't carry a show on its own.
>Is it because of Togo's Togos?
At the very least i can say that her MG design is my favorite of the five.
It's no singular aspect, it just has enough stuff to keep me entertained every week. And the plot makes progress. It's not like they have been stuck killing the monster of the week every episode or anything like that.
>Yuuki Yuuna will never protect your smile
>for how much or what of her memories is gone
A few years prior to the supposed "accident", i.e. her last mission with the previous time.
What more of an explanation do you need?
It's not like he's refusing to explain shit, it's just not relevant as you say, that's a difference. Why bring it up if it's not relevant?
To throw in random info since I was bored. Just removing a chunk of brain shouldn't have this effect. Some scientists think that at least due to memory being scattered all over the brain which is also what some people think triggers deja vu.
Sonoko implies Taisha can hurt heroes.
Of course they can. There's no way they'd entrust powers like that to emotional middle school girls without some kind of killswitch. What if one of them got into an argument with their parents and decided to level a few city blocks?
Because up until now I thought this time zone would start around there since GB still uses western european time. Turns out they're just hipsters. The countries to the right of germany and italy just aren't that abundant on the internet and in terms of population that's why.
B-but we were even featured in the US Marine hymn...
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land, and sea;
And all that.
I agree, it seems to have every aspect of what I wanted for this season.
i'd be ok with her getting crippled enough that the ending has her smile at her friends and say something like 'daijoubu' but then in the post credits it has her sobbing alone in her forever bed that'd be cool
Could someone remove that retarded logo please?
>girl says she attempted suicide 10 ways
>friends don't act remotely concerned
>not even her bestie
When western audiences start to correspond to a significant source of revenue for the producers I'll take you seriously. And please don't shove exceptions in my face, they don't make it any less stupid to think MAL is a good indicator that YuYuYu is doing well.
I suppose that with "hurting them", Sonoko meant that those Taisha priests could try to restrain Yuuna and Tougou and forcefully seperate them from her, just like bodyguards would do when someone gets too close to a VIP.
I suppose the fairies don't trigger for such trivial, harmless uses of force, so I don't think the statement necessarily implies that the Taisha could kill the Yuushas just like that.
Like I give a shit about what other people think of it. It could be dead fucking last on the MAL score for all I care. I'd even give it a fucking 1 and overwrite all the votes to 1 if I could. A show is doing well when the sales are up. If MAL shits the bed and the scores don't work anymore I really, really doubt the sales will be affected.
Restraining/pulling people doesn't warrant someone barking an order not to hurt them. They were at the very least gonna beat the shit out of them for getting too close to her. Shinju-sama knows what they would have done to them if she hadn't said anything.
I just wanted to post a tittymonster from Mimori's previous show.
I'm not the anon you were talking to. I just think it's stupid to think of the Taisha as brutal wife beaters when they have never shown any signs of using such methods to get their will.
Now I'm worried, what did you put in there? Be honest.
Aren't you being unfair here Fuu? Taisha told you that your parents were killed by Vertex. You knew they were dangerous. Even so, you didn't hesitate at all to form your little club and rope the others into it, including your sister. The risk of your sister dying in battle was acceptable but losing her voice is over the line? That's ridiculous. Stop trying to deflect blame onto Taisha and be thankful for the fairies they so generously provided, which have saved your life and the lives of your family and friends many times now.
We never saw Yuuna's parents. And even more, we never even saw where Yuuna lives and barely know anything about what she does outside of the Brave Clab.
We've seen the homes and the circumstances of all the other Yuushas, but strangely they've revealed absolutely nothing about Yuuna's background so far.
But her point stands. Taisha didn't give them the chance to make an informed decision. That's wrong in and of itself, even Fuu herself isn't in the best position to complaint.
The calendar in Itsuki's room is on September, starting on a Thursday, with Monday 19 and Thursday 22 marked in red.
If Monday 19 is Respect for the Aged Day and Thursday 22 is the Autumn Equinox, this places Year 300 as 2016AD.
Respect for the Aged Day was held on September 15 until 2003, when it was changed to the third Monday of September, and Septembers beginning in Thursday since then were 2005 and 2011, but the equinoxes on those years fell on the 23rd.
So possible AD years assuming the calendar's marking Respect for the Aged Day and the Autumn Equinox:
Tougou tried Seppuku first. For a samurai not to lose his honor while comitting suicide even with this extremely painful death they usually had a Kaishaku, which severed their head after death occured to make identifying them impossible.
Yuuna confirmed for Kaishaku.
It's funny how often writers don't give a shit about moon phases.
What if her parents never died and they actually literally actually 'gifted' the Inubouzaki sisters to the Taisha?
While we're already on this subject, this should be the basic timeline of Yuyuyu so far:
Ep 1: ~mid April
Ep 2: ~mid April
Ep 3: June 12 and the days before
Ep 4: first half of July
Ep 5: first half of July
Ep 6: first half of July
Ep 7: second half of July or August
Ep 8: early September
Ep 9: September
There's a lot that authors don't give a shit about. Like Sunday falling on the same date two years in a row.
Just wait. She is a Taisha drone and her keikaku will unfold in the final episode.
She will be the true
villainin the end and so the title will blow everyone's mind.
We know Tougou's parents exist, they're mentioned in the LN. All the evidence we have for Yuuna's parents comes from her continued insistence that they exist. She actually mentions them a lot. Like she really wants to everyone to know that she has a happy family life. Because they're definitely there. She definitely isn't the only person living in that house.
Yuuki Yunna never existed and was only a physical manifestation of Shinju-sama's will...
I knew this fuck was evil from the moment i saw him.
I can see the Fuuture. Fuu can only see half of it though.
Soon I hope. The survivor's guilt thing is a neat twist on her archetype and I'd like to see them do something with it.
I also rewatched some of the earlier episodes, it was surreal seeing how relaxing everything was and how Togo/Yuna had so many little intimate and gay moments than I realized.
How many consecutive yyy threads we had since thursday? And why is the ride going faster?
Something around 6-7. I still have them in the Back button in the tab.
How can Itsuki just smile after writing such depressing stuff?
>I don't want to hangout with my friends because my disability ruins their fun
But Fuu couldn't even protect her smile.
Who said sexualizing? I just imagine them
falling asleep in the same bed with their fingers interlocked after a long hugging session.
Is that so wrong?
That just means she's dead inside, which is worse.
No she's had that since birth
Yuusha's have to be pure. Only lesbians are pure.
She has all the distance friends in Taisha, right?
Powerful friends will give her a leg up in life!
I was thinking she could be the only survivor of this generation of Heroes "Last Girl Standing" and all that but that may be a little too obvious.
Her resigned look after >>117993003 means she is ready for going Mankai when needed.
