Chuu2koi is generic romance shit. This show is to my surprise occasionally really introspective. Hatoko's dialogue was pretty good, and that older chuuni occasionally says quite insightful things.
It's best when it looks analytically at the chuuni phenomenon rather than revelling in it. These episodes where the powers are actually used and that whole background with rival factions seems kinda generic and boring though.

Screw you. Episode 8 is the best episode yet. This show inspects "chuuni" better than any other series that deals with chuuni and it also has fun with it while keeping chuuni grounded by having self-aware chuunis like Andou, Tomoyo, and Hajime.

The anime is awesome, but I fucking loathe the deranged Gainax-like animation that is used at times.

What comes to my mind is the scene where they found the loli in that building. The one for which they thought that she was an undefeatable enemy, until it turned out that she was that one dude's pet.
The fight had multiple scenes that felt like KLK and the like. I get a headache whenever the animation suddenly shifts into being so ridiculously busy.
