Haven't sent out your cards/gifts?
Get to it.
I received all of my gifts weeks ago, but have been too lazy to send them out. Will be shipping them out come Monday.
got both my presents last week, getting ready to send them out to both of my /ss/ fags.
also getting ready to send out xmass cards!
Sent out my cards today
CRof MAit said you should have received you box, its okay to open it because everything is individually wrapped. But there are cookies in the tins, so you should open them and eat them so they don't go stale.
If you haven't received you box, please let me know.
Just shipped all of mine today. Had to wait for Amazon to deliver the goods, so I can pack them. However...
>Gets assigned a guy who literally lives in the middle of nowhere.
>Use fastest shipping option, tracking, insurance.
>No time guarantee because assignment literally lives in the middle of fucking nowhere.
Sent my present on Tuesday, cards out today. I'm a little worried about the cards. I used a big envelope to hold both the card and the treats I packed in with it. It's not really clear which part the card is in, so I hope no one ends up ripping the card by accident opening it.
Gift should be finished this weekend. Cards should be going out tomorrow. Feels pretty good.
So, UPS says status delivered, but it doesn't say the right town or even the address, but when I look up UPS locations, the town it was "delivered" to, is the closest UPS center to my /ss/.
Did it probably get to him?
Sounds good to me then.
I'd like to think that the fear-mongering is mostly in jest, it seems like most people wouldn't be that mean-spirited.
>Haven't sent out your cards/gifts?
Ill do it tomorrow.
A message to Large Envelope Card Anon,
DOfrom TXhere. I saw your post about getting your cards sent out sometime this week. Mind telling me what color of envelope to look out for? I live with a lot of people who receive a lot of mail and it might get lost in theirs.
Just got back from work, and look what I just got!
Can't wait till Christmas to see what I got!
I have something similar happen with my town since my town doesn't have our own dedicated post office. Im 90% positive it got to him.
If your worried though, I would send the organizers a message and have them try to get in contact with your anon.
I'll be able to send my shit early next week if I'm lucky, I was told that an artbook I ordered was shipped and then a week later I get a refund with "lol sorry, out of stock". Ordered a new one from another seller but lost some precious time. I'll at least use the fastest shipping possible.
Also, my recipient is going to get the biggest fucking AmiAmi box I've ever seen, I'm reusing it because their boxes are pretty good and come with "fragile" printed on them. I'll just add the other shit in when they arrive.
Anyone got MR from Finland?
My gift came yesterday
Thank Youand I'm still working on cards. 3 more to go! My assignment's gift has yet to arrive
My three cards are ready to send on Monday. One of the envelopes is pretty stuffed with extras, I hope it's not a problem for the mailman.
The anon I'm gifting lives about half an hour's drive away so I'm thinking I'll wrap his things up nicely and drop them off at his front door myself rather than having to throw it all in a cardboard box and ship it.
It might be a little less, I bought my giftee's item from someone in California and it arrived over here in five days. But as the month goes on the mail's probably going to start slowing down.
Did anyone else feel overwhelmed because their recipient's wishlist was goddamn huge? Mine wasn't a simple anime pro, he's a goddamn anime god and there was so much to choose from I was afraid I couldn't get something that he'd find special.
DGof GA, I just sent out your gift earlier today, it should be there in two or three days. I still have some cards to get done, I hope all of my receivers are ok with shitty traces of their waifu/characters from series they listed
A bit. I had one person I made a card for who basically only listed their
MAL. It was a little hard to figure out what to draw, so I went with a popular character from a popular series.
Then just look at his list and pick your favorite anime, or at least one you're really familiar with to help with choosing a gift.
That way you have an idea who is considered "best girl" or who is considered the most liked character in that show. I wish my anon had a big old list like that, would've been easier to choose a gift.
Ready to ship out! I have a couple of nice cards left over with no one to send them to, it seems a shame to waste them. Not that my artistic talent goes beyond tracing images anyway.
Yeah I have someone in the very far north in Canada... They will get their package eventually. I even sent the organizers an e-mail with the tracking in case he thinks he got grinched.
Nunavut, if you see this, your package will arrive... soon(TM).
My mail that's being sent to another country is getting there faster than his.
I bought the item they specifically requested and then threw in a bunch of other stuff based off their interests, hopefully they don't already own any of it or get too weirded out.
I'm currently sick so I haven't wrapped the gifts I'm sending out but I already have everything written and set just to send.
I also got a card from an anon but I had to open it because lately AT&T has been sending me letters that look like Christmas cards but they are just normal spam mail.
Yeah, you can order free mailing stuff from USPS. However, it takes days to weeks for it to get to you, and then you'd have to ship out your gift and that also takes days/weeks in turn to get to your assignment.
Might as well buy that shit, or ask for some at your grocery store.
Help /a/. I don't know if I'm looking at the right places but my local Hobby Lobby and Walmart don't have any envelopes big enough for my cards. My cards are just regular, folded, 5.5 x 8.5 cards. Staples and Office Max are too far out.
A USPS envelope seems impersonal, but I guess that will be my last resort.
I guess I will. I just hope I can make them secure enough to withstand the machines and the mishandling.
I'll admit, it's pretty bad if you give a wishlist and nothing else. Worse if it's just one or two items. However, I think most anons who did list specific items were open to surprises too. I listed a half-dozen items I like, then a bunch of my favorite series and characters too. I think it also helps your santa get a picture of the kinds of things you like - do you like manga, BDs, statues, toys, etc.
Worst case scenario - get some paper large enough and just make your own.
Your assignment sounds like a shitbag. You should have gotten him something completely different.
I wouldn't have, I'm too much of a pussy bitch to do it. But you should have.
>he gave me links and everything
What's the point? This seems like the one time of year where you'd want to be surprised and not know exactly what you're going to get. I'm glad I only listed franchises, I have no idea what's in my gifts.
Get him a bag of candy and a card that says "Fuck you"
>spent double the price ranges maximum
I know I'm going to be making an anon happy but that was probably not the best idea for my wallet.
I hope you guys are aware that a wishlist is nothing but just that, and you're not bound to give whatever is listed in it. It's not considered bad to give your assignment something different, provided that it's within reasonable limits and you're not giving something shitty out of spite.
>Mousemat with waifu image
>Disgusting local candy
>traditional japanese fan with some anime grills on it
>Artbook of his favorite anime
>Self made cd with Japanese music
75 dollar bracket, how did I do?
Cards ready, time to fill up those envelopes!
Different points of view, anon. What you view as shitty will be seen as convenient by another anon because then they won't have to think hard about what to get. It's not any different from a kid asking for a specific model of toy car and "Santa" giving him just that.
It's Christmas. Maybe forget all your displeasure and think about what would make your anon happy?
I'm on your side though. The best part of /ss/ is the surprise and people giving links to specific items is ruining the surprise for themselves..
My anon listed a few favorite characters from a few anime, which made it pretty easy to pick gifts.
I only listed 1 favorite character and I feel shitty about that now.
Got them a nendo, and it came in today with the box like this
Fortunately the box inside was fine, Manda wrappings protected it.
>TFW, I literally got everything anon listed on his wishlist
Oh man, the instant I saw it I was pissed. I already had a contingency plan in my head if anything had happened to the contents, but thankfully it wasn't needed.
I also made a wallscroll of their waifu, the tube it came in would be perfect to strip down and rewrap it, but it's too big to fit in even the largest flat rate boxes.
Should I just ship it in the tube separate from the rest of the gifts, or get a bigger box from office depot and ship everything together in that?
Yeah, I know the feeling: my anon only listed characters, and I managed to get him something for each one of them
although that's counting my hand-drawn card with Riza from FMA on it, I just could not find any good merch for her.
>worried about because my gifts total is the very bottom of my bracket
>end up gifting another nendoroid and going over
Spirit of giving I guess. I hope he like Renge-chong
He won't get it and
Some black dude in Detroit will receive it and give it away to some kid cause he thought it was a mcdonald's toy
I suddenly remembered I can't draw for shit, so all my card assignments are getting gifts instead.
Also I got my CD from Jebus of /a/ a few days ago.
Pic Related, it's as if they guy just snuck into my room while I was asleep, stuck his tongue into my ear, and delved all the info he needed to compile the list of songs for it.
Also dat fucking Christmas song.
Should I put cologne on the ones I'm sending?
Anon, you made me worry and I smelled the cards that I was just about to send out. They smell faintly like
the shoes section of a department store. The pleasant combination of rubber and air conditioner.
> Gifts are held up in customs.
> Still there.
> Been there for a week and a half.
> Might not get to anon-sama in time.
I'm hoping, but I'm not holding my breath. There's nothing I can do other than send the card alone and apologize profusely.
Don't you mean "I hope you faggots like faggot"?
DD of OH
This is only the first of the gifts to come. However, because one of the items will be late, I got you this to hold you over until then.
Expect a letter and a package soon and feel free to open it since more is on the way!
Remaking while spoilering the image because he's possibly a giant faggot. It's alright, I'll love you even if you don't love me.
All gifts for my anon are finally here and I will be wrapping them up for shipping tomorrow.
So I bought a mug for my anon, but it turned out to be quite heavy. It adds like a pound to the package and pushes it to the next tier of shipping cost. The mug cost only $3.50 to get though. Should I exclude it from the gifts? I'm already over bracket and leaving the mug out doesn't cheapen the package of gifts much, if at all.
You idiot the issue wasnt the fact that it wasnt spoilered. its the fact that there IS NO FUCKING REASON TO POST HIS INITIALS ALONG WITH THE GIFT YOU RETARD.
Also he is a faggot and doesnt deserve anything more than the bare minimum
I'm still confused by why someone gifted me a volume of Vagabond manga last year. It had absolutely nothing to do with anything on my wishlist or interests. I can only guess at this point that either my gifter really likes the series and thought I should try it, too, or the book was on sale or a regift.
Yes, but the largest flat-rate box provided by USPS is still too small to hold everything I have. Splitting the goods into two packages means pretty much doubling the shipping cost and be even costlier.
MB of MA your stuff will be shipping out to your second address on Monday or Tuesday, should probably get there around the date you mentioned because I'm using standard shipping.
J of AZ and DH of OH your cards will go out around the same time.
Thank you anon from Australia for this novel card. The stack of santa Yui edits on the front had me giggling. Sadly, I can't show every single one of them but there was a whole bunch of classic edits in there. I'll like it everyday until Christmas.
And on the inside is an adorable Kana-chan drawing. Even though it came all the way from Autralia, this was the first card to reach me.
Just a few sentences wishing them merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and then something about their waifu or favorite series.
I draw something in the card to take up space as well.
Me too anon. I'm done with the cards except for the messages on the inside. I'd like to write in character, like it's their waifu talking to them, but I'm not witty enough.
How would Erio greet someone, even?
Waiting on the last two parts of my gifts to arrive, I might just send out what I already have on Monday and then send the rest out once it gets here. I finally get a day off on Sunday so I will attempt to do a card or more likely a short letter if I am coherent after the 18 hour day I have tomorrow.
That'd be me. NT is Northwest Territories, not Nunavut, but it should make it to the right place anyway because there is no overlap in town names or postal codes since they just split us down the middle to make Nunavut.
I just used paper from a sketchbook. Thicker than printer paper, not as thick as construction paper/cardstock.
I feel like a shitter though because the first card I received was really well done on cardstock, so I hope I wasnt the only person to use a flimsy type of paper
I was grinched last year.
So I rip one insult card from a /v/irgin, and forever more I deserve nothing despite all my cards making it to them before christmas, and never grinching anyone?
Until I grinch someone I'm not gonna get black listed so fucking deal with it, all of you.
Take off your trip, way to ruin our threads with your attention whoring.
If you don't then shut up you worthless piece of shit, everyone hates you already and it isn't only because what you did.
I still never found out if all those tiny Yotsubas I mailed last year got to where they were supposed to go.
Got grinched the first year but was able to chat with my recipient when he did an unboxing thread. He seemed to like all the manga I got him, thank fuck for Amazon France.
>Ruin the thread with attention whoring
My /ss/ post my initials and everyone loses their shit while I'm away doing a christmas puzzle.
I've barely been in the secret santa thread this year.
I used opalina paper to print my cards, and now I'm planing on write the text on regular white paper and then paste that inside the cards.
I'll try that.
I would buy cardstock but I really don't have enough funds set aside to buy more stuff after all the gifts+shipping and still get everything I need to for my family, I'll need to plan better next year.
>Still have not been mentioned
Who living on the edge and enjoying the thrill here?
and yet here you are.
Why are you tripping? That's right! It's only for attention whoring! And you love being vocal about it!
I wouldn't grinch a /v/fag, but I sincerely hope you get grinched every year until you go away.
C.K.K. from NVi received your package with my gift in it a couple of days ago. Should i leave it in its package until Christmas, Or did you wrap it up and it's safe to take out?
I has the host e-mail you this question on teh same day I got it, but you haven't responded to him.
I haven't seen my initials but I really don't care. I had fun buying my present and doing my cards so it's already been worth it for me even in the unlikely event that I do get grinched.
The suspense is killing me. I'm still waiting.
But at least I organized a Santa swap with an anon in a previous thread (who didn't get enough assignees) and got his card at least.
Who's your anon?
I was somewhat lucky. My original intent was to not mentioned mine but he mentioned his initials and I couldn't avoid telling him I was here. I'm too soft-hearted.
Hey man at least you dont live in a 1/2 (e.g 1109 1/2). Mailmen around my area are lazy and leave the package in front of the house instead of coming in the back
Yeah, I'm from west coast Canada. But I doubt that I am your assignee though.
Is that an America thing or something? I live on the fucking third world and my mail people can't leave until they give us the package on our hands because otherwise they will get offed from their work.
>it's been like a month since i ordered my anon's gifts
>I had to go with SAL
I'm really starting to freak out, if it really is lost he's going to think i grinched him and i don't have enough money left over or enough time to re-buy all of it, what do I do?
It makes no fucking point whether I post with my trip in these threads or not.
I've posted without my trip a couple times in /ss/ threads this year.
And surprise, no one has a problem with my posts then.
But then I put on the trip again, posting the same exact way, and people lose their fucking mind.
It just shows people being hypocrites, that it has little to nothing with what I've said, its just because I have a trip.
So you are actually retarded? Welp, let me explain it with apples for you, ok?
>misused trip = attention whore
It's that clear? Read it a few times until you understand it. Keep in mind we do not like attention whores on our threads.
>attention whore that acted like a scumbag.
>keep using the same trip so you can be identified as that one.
Gee, I wonder why people hate you. Ok, as anon to a retard, let me give you a sincere advice, stop posting with your trip here, stop attention whoring in here, we anons will reply to you normally if you do, works like magic!
Anons don't hate you because you post like a retard. They hate you because of what you did. Unfortunately for you, you have a trip and therefore an identity that they associate it with.
Turn off your trip and you lose that identity, and anons won't have a way of knowing that it's you.
I'm in the $50-$75 bracket, which makes me even more nervous that my anon won't get something
I ordered my sister a gift using SAL a day later, and it got here before the end of november, which is why I'm worried. Even if it did show up, it'd still be next month
>I've posted without my trip a couple times in /ss/ threads this year.
>And surprise, no one has a problem with my posts then.
You solved the mystery. Now answer why you feel the need to use the trip
The wait is too much for me. I'm too excited! I hoped I don't get grinched. I literally can't sleep or eat or drink. I wonder what kind of secret I will receive!
>My body can't take it any more
My body was not ready for this.
Hasn't moved in about a week and i'm starting to worried.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Also, CD update -
some of the domestic CD's that were ordered will not be shipped until next week. Finals and shit have kept me busy but since I graduate next Saturday with nothing to do till then, we should be good to go.
GW from ON.
Your gift might be a bit late but don't worry, it'll reach in due time. I'm sure you'll like it.
I need help here. It's for my oneechan.
Typically we give each other one 'selfish' gift (something that we want the other person to play/read/etc. but they might not enjoy), and a couple of things that aren't necessarily from each other's 'wish lists', but they ought to enjoy.
She's just started delving into VNs, so I figured I'd get her Planetarian as my 'selfish' gift. I already have two physical presents that she's sure to enjoy, but I was looking for another digital gift. She's a bit of a tomboy, and hovers nervously on the border between pretentious geek and actual geek. I was thinking Legend of Grimrock 2, but I'm not sure, since she lost interest in the first one in 'spider hell', where she simply could not progress through the combat (without help). Still, she loved the Myst series, so I think that it's an apt fit, since the second one is an improvement on the first, and has at least a hundred or so unique puzzles and secrets. She also eked out some insane number of hours out of FTL, enjoyed all the Telltale games, plays L4D with friends routinely, and played both Dark Souls games to the end. I'm just stuck on this last item for her.
All wrapped up and ready to go. Just trying to figure out what to do about the Japanese address. Where should I stick it on the box? Do I need to put a return address on it?
Always put a return address anon. Worst case scenario, the gift can be returned to you if it's undeliverable.
Look up the FAQ of your chosen parcel service. They usually have information there on where to put the address etc.
Are you guys putting a return address address on your gifts? How about the cards?
I think he is just playing dumb to attract more attention and be able to keep triping. Something along the lines of "I'm being a retard and no one will be able to make me stop".
It is so simple.
If you post something dumb as anonymous, you am one of many. No one knows it's you. If you post something dumb with a trip, and then argue with people about how said thing isn't dumb every time they tell you its dumb, every one remembers and doesn't like you.
I don't like you. Fuck off.
>acrylic sheets have finally arrived
TIME FOR LASER CUTTING
I love lasers. And I love cutting.
AL-Gfrom MDI'm seeing that your gift should've gotten to you by now so if it did, hope your waifu brings you joy this season! JSfrom Canadai'm not sure about your gift since i'm not seeing anything that confirms it got to you, but if not here's hoping it's soon!
Guys please just stop responding to blondedude.
So I shipped my gift directly from the store to my recipient, and it arrived this week.
KK from NYI hope you received the package without problems, I'll try to send a card too.
I see, in those cases I usually wrap the whole thing in brown wrapping tape. That said it will probably make it safe.
I have to do like 18 cards this year...
I want to take part in this one year and make something for someone.
It's wrapped in two layers of brown paper to protect it so hopefully it gets to Japan undamaged.
A.P from Japan, if you're reading this, sorry about the tape. It strengthens it but will make opening it without ripping the paper to shreds difficult.
>still haven't started cards
Buying gifts is just so much more entertaining.
Never sold them before. I have given a few away as gifts to friends. Lots of people make them as they are simple to make and cheap. Just take lots of time.
I have tons of them in my house. I always wanted to take part in the secret santa and make one for somebody.
Is there a gift exchange for Valentine's Day? Thought I remembered that happening.
It's not very hard. Often just line by line replication.
> Often just line by line replication.
Even still! Where do you get an adequate set of assorted colours?
I'd rather buy them in-store, but I live in filthy Canadaland of the no fun permitted.
I had never heard of these things before.
Give me a good enough sprite to work off and I can replicate it.
Choosing your pallet is often the most difficult part.
I also live in Canada.
>I'd rather buy them in-store, but I live in filthy Canadaland of the no fun permitted.
>I had never heard of these things before.
I live in Canada and I've seen this shit all over the place.
> Choosing your pallet is often the most difficult part.
True, but where do you get them? Can you see the selection beforehand?
I'm just absolutely fascinated. I feel likea kid again.
Welp found one in google. However I only found the head of my waifu this is just something extra id ask for. So all in all id ask for 2.
I started with mixed tubs and bought individual bags of colors I used lots of. But now I buy bags of almost all the colors I use. Sorting through mixed tubs is alot slower but can induce a zen like sate. You can look up tutoials. I remember reading lots of post on something like pixelgasam forums when I first started
That would be easy to make. What is the full name of the character and I will search around quick for other pictures.
Her name is Hi-sienko she is from Darkstalkers also the other character was Miyako from Hidamari sketch and I sort of found one for her but not really.
I had been feeling really down recently and it is my first time participating in all of this so I just went in not really expecting much. I was surprised at how much just receiving this card cheered me up.
I really could not have asked for anything more. Thank you very much to the /a/non that sent this to me. I'll definitely write back.
Ah, the shot was just taken at a strange angle.
Haha, I was actually going to joke that Eila was drawn like Chaika face, but it still looks cute as fuck to me. The effort is palpable and I love it.
I need help. I have no idea where to put the address on my package and my local post shop's site doesn't specify for parcels. Any Australians know where you need to put address details on parcels to ship internationally?
I-I'm still awake, santa. In that case, please address it to
first two initials + complete surnameinstead of Anon, so anyone who gets picks it up knows that it's for me.
>Make nice cards-
>Ruin them with my horrible writing.
Be careful anon. I don't know the case in Australia but in the US, the USPS advises against putting even clear tape on top of the address part. They say it makes it hard for the machine to scan it.
Unfortunately every result is just about letter addressing and not parcel addressing. Maybe parcels are done manually.
Where do you put your return address? Just on one of the sides?
I'm honestly not sure, I haven't been on /a/ in a bit. Just started coming back a day or two ago and saw all the threads about people sending out their gifts already so I kind of assumed it's all said and done.
Already got all that out of the way anon, maybe I'll surprise someone with something a little extra.
JL from MO
I stumbled upon some difficulties and as such, your present is being sent directly to your address. An overly decorated christmas card is coming afterwards to make up for lack of cheer.
Hold up, I never said put tape over the address.
Just tape the paper on all four sides, and write the address in the middle.
I've had zero issues in the past with this.
That's exactly what I plan to do.
I have and get no results, still just letters. Perhaps I wasn't clear, the address format isn't a problem, it's where they want it written. Should the To address be on a particular side of the box? Should the return be on the opposite? Does it matter? Letters are easy because it only has two sides and there are specific locations for stamps, addresses, barcodes, etc. Parcels not so much.
Ever sent anything to Japan like that? Australia Post doesn't mention tape so maybe they sort parcels manually but Japan might have issues with it due to machines sorting it if that's the case.
> Does it matter?
No, so long as the 'to' address is the most visible, and the return address is clearly marked as such.
I suggest putting them on different sides of the box though.
Japan and China are the only countries I know of where Return and To addresses are written on opposite sides. I assume Australia, US, most European nations, Canada, etc. all share similar formats where the Return address goes on the top left (in smaller font) and the To address is big and clear to the lower right or in the middle. I've mailed hundreds of packages in the past two years to those locations and nothing has gotten lost save for one to Philippines. Fuck Philippines.
USPS only said DO NOT PUT TAPE OVER BARCODE and it appears to be the main thing they scan. The actual address is read by a human sorter when mail is delivered at the local post office.
By next year I want to be good enough at stamp carving that I can make /a/nons hand carved stamps of their respective waifus.
Either that or I need to get work back at a machine shop in which case I can make thin machined plates of whatever they want.
Anything will be better than the drivel I churned out this year.
>the wrapping paper I used is so cheap and thin that you can read the writing on the present, and see exactly what it is.
I planned to ration out the roll for next year, but I guess you're right.
I'll save up for decent wrap next time.
Just sent out my gift today, should take around a week along with my card at a later date.
Still wish I could have gone alot more over my budget ;_; I still hope they like their gifts though!
Friendly reminder that Monday, December 15 or so, is likely to be the busiest mailing day in the US in anticipation of Christmas. Post offices may have lines going out the wazoo and it is recommended to drop off your package with self-printed label or mailing a bit earlier than the 15th. For some slower domestic services, like USPS Standard Post or Media Mail, it may risk not arriving in time for Christmas already.
>Did you flip through all of the Yuis?
Of course. It kept getting better as I flipped through too. I'll be sure to fix the Cromartie issue over the Christmas break, thanks for pointing it out. I hope you too have a nice holidays anon.
The dub of Cromartie is pretty good and I heard that the LA movie is also really fun. Merry Christmas anon!
Here's the drawing if you wanted a copy
Not a big fan of dubs but I'll give it a shot anyways. And thanks for the drawing in digital, I'll store it in my ss folder with care.
I never watch series dubbed but I found the dub more engaging than the sub, then switched back to sub halfway through. Up to you though.
I'll send you another card next year if I've got time.
NWin Switzerland. Your package will be send on Monday.
Cards are WIP, question for everyone - would you mind taking a little bit of extra time on them for something special included with them?
>would you mind taking a little bit of extra time on them for something special included with them?
Are you kidding?
Put address on the front, middle. Make it clear and legible. If the country has foreign characters, try to print it and put it below or next to it, same size.
Always remember to put the country name in caps as the last thing. Return address goes on the reverse of the letter/parcel.
Off to mail my stuff.
My cards ended up being quite heavy, I hope I don't get charged as package by them.
>tfw forgot to take my typed out A4 page message to put in along with the present.
>only remembered about the fact i didnt have it when the woman at the post office was hurrying me up so i quickly ripped out a page from my notebook and wrote a quick message.
Sorry SC from Glasgow I shall commit honourable seppuku if you wish me too
Oh man, I'm glad to hear that. Don't open it though, I have faith in you. I'm still waiting for the second one to arrive to my place still. I'm gonna stick a card in with the second package as well.
Still wondering how to pack this.
I guess it'd be better to not send it since it'll most likely arrive smashed.
Get your shit together, DHL. I need my anon's gift.
>Sent the cards on Nov 18th with their respective codes.
>All of them show the same message.
Canadaand Norwaywere delivered. I hope they liked their pics.
If you buy the tracking code, yes.
The last part of my anon's gift has finally arrived today. I will buy some wrapping paper now and send the package out on Monday.
I can't believe how excited I am for him to open his gift.

I was unable to send out your package today, because I can't send internationally using the automated machine, and the teller doesn't open until later on the weekends. I'll have it out Monday morning.
I wasn't satisfied with how the card for you turned out, so I'm reworking it over the weekend. Yours will be out on Monday as well.
>I can't believe how excited I am for him to open his gift.
That's the spirit.
Fuck. Where can I find obscure anime sprites? I want to make a perler bead sprite of my guy's waifu. Lookin' for
Ayumu from HnG. He lives in the same city as I do anyway, so I've held off on sending his gift (also, I haven't done his card yet).
I got this really cool card on Thursday. It features Akari drawn with "invisible ink." Anon even provided a UV flashlight so I could make her stand out more. It was fairly difficult to get a good picture of her with the light, but I managed to get a good one after messing with some camera settings. The inside has a drawing of Akagi with a Santa hat. Anon also made a neat little Haibane Renmei CFF keychain.
Anon, if you're in the thread, thank you very much for this awesome card and keychain.
Just sent out my cards to a bunch of UKfags. First class stamps are bloody expensive.
Waiting for someone to send one more gift then I can wrap them all together and send them on to my giftfag. Gonna be late though. Does putting more stamps on something mean it goes through faster?
>Initials still not posts
>Spent way above my bracket
I know it's about the giving, but damn, I really hope for a nice surprise. I live in fear that I'll get a lazy card and something non-anime related
Anon, do it like me. I hold the firm belief in my heart that I will be mailed a box of literal shit - that way, I won't be disappointed even if I get nothing.
All I really want is that I don't miss it when my giftee posts in these threads after he got his presents, and that he will like them.
Wow not enjoying a good joke. God damn you're scum.
Th-That's my card, /a/non!
I'm really glad you liked it at it and that it made you feel better. Knowing I made another /a/non happy feels great. Sorry if you're waifu Eila doesn't look the best, but I tried, eheh. (I took pictures and scans of all of the cards I sent out, just incase any of my anons never gets their cards, so this is proof enough I hope.)
Actually it's my first time participating in this too.
Well, now that I know one of my fellow /a/non-kuns has their cards, I just wanted to let
RI from Australiaand MSBS from Malaysianknow that their cards were also mailed out last Friday or o, and are on their way, if not there already! If they get lost in the mail I'd be happy to send the scans of them to you.
DK from OHI know I was shortly in contact with you before, but the last part of your gift thankfully arrived a couple of days ago! I just have to make your card now and the package should be mailed out sometime this week~
I feel like I'm forgetting to say or add something but I hope all of you wonderful /a/nons have a good Christmas.
W-Will the /ss/ organizers ever come back and make a real thread though?
Of course, only after making my post do I remember what I forgot to say/ask:
/a/non from GA, I got your card a couple weeks ago, but it felt much too early to open it then. The excitement is killing me though, when do you (or any other /a/nons) think I should open it? I can't decide wether waiting until Christmas day to open anything I get all together, or opening Christmas cards in the time before Christmas like some do is better in this case.
I hope the anons who I sent advent calendars to are enjoying there chocolates!
Just sent out my gift aswell, but I still feel I didn't send good enough stuff, so i'm going to keep looking and maybe send more
>mfw my /ss/ from last year sent something and it's even larger than what they sent last year
To the anon that made sadpanda cards last year, thanks, man. I was thinking about doing the same, but I was worried about people moving and changing addresses. I'll open up the card next week, when it's a little closer to Christmas.
Did anybody ever email this anon besides me? I sent 2 emails to him and he never replied back I was the guy trying to get Lei-Lei as a character done by him was gonna opt in to do a small /ss/ between us two but he just never replied. I really wanted this.

You better fucking hope that your address ends with avenue. If it gets lost in the mail and it never gets to you, it aint my problem because your dumbass didnt put down your address properly.
ACfrom France, I got your gift today. You live quite close from my uni, so expect to have it hand delivered in two weeks or something. Will include homemade cookies. AH, JHand VA, your cards are in process. My drawfag skills are a bit rusty but I will try to make something pretty
