So a number of anons got themselves some extended downtime with the holidays going on. So instead of watching and arguing about who is best girl in a harem series that will probably never have a satisfying conclusion, you should go play Galaxy Angel where you can pick a best girl out of 6 best girls.
And as dead as we are, I will at least make 1 thread a week
You're telling me
The manga? No clue, I've only read the first one and there's apparently 2 series of manga. I didn't like it as much
Dying this early huh? Well back to summarizing the second games
I'm going to need clarification on this statement.
The anime sure did
did the guy make all the angels or just the best 2?
How exactly did you manage to pull this off?
This whole thing kind of came out of nowhere, huh.
homu looks like tact
i think theyr related
Was busy last week putting everything together still.
First thing I tested was GA, then the final battle in EK. No slowdown on either.
The only thing that still annoys me with the first game is how long it takes to read the memory card.
Ah, lucky you. I still sometimes have audio hiccups during big-ass fights. Other GAII anon seems to be concluding Kahlua so he's getting close
Anything to fuel the fire.
Much appreciated as always
We done for tonight?
I guess there's SOME semblance of hope for the future
Is it time for Forte to try and stoll in for this thread?
I really like to see this thread having jokes or making some imaginary quests like those of /tg/.
It makes things more unique other than posting the same pics over and over.
Well my goals were to introduce more people while keeping tabs on the other GAII anon.
I've finished up summaries for the 1st game in GAII so maybe more discussion on lore can come from the info there
If Kazuya is worried about his Masculinity, why doesn't he challenge Roselle and Tapio to a Shirtless Scene contest so he can prove how manly he is?
Tapio gives no shits while I'm sure Roselle is a bit more buff than he is
Nah fuck you leatherhead
As the other GAII anon said many threads before, the combat in GAII is really boring. The ships are pretty much the same with little to differentiate them. They have their fluctuating stats but it feels nowhere was "class" like the first series Emblem Frames have it.
The first games both are weak in the combat areas but it picks up as the games go on. I guess by a close margin, I like GAII better because I just love the final mission for MK and EK
Oh God this episode
My favorite Final Mission in GA is Moonlit Lovers due to the music and also the sudden arrival of your allies.
What is the final mission of MK and EK like and why do you love it? How epic it is?
>Lester will never fulfill Elmo's Deep Dark Fantasies although Coco's has been fulfilled.
Gachimuchi is the last thing I would have ever expected from GA threads
I love it
MK's final mission is similar to ML in a sense that the flagship needs to make it alive through a wave of enemies to the other end of the map. The enemies assloads of reinforcements and to top it all off, instead of being a cocky bitch like Nefuria, the big bad's enormous warship periodically fires its BFG at you. When it starts charging you have to steer your flagship out of the way so you're constantly kept on your toes. Plus 7 Emblem Frames to make the magic happen.
EK's final fight is something so amazingly balls to wall hype that I can't begin to want to remotely spoil you in the small chance someone here gets to it. Let's just say infinite enemy reinforcements and special moves nearly every 5 seconds. I won't say more
Does the Moon Angel Troupe join in the fun? Also, what are the final battle songs?
>yfw Coco watches Gachimuchi on her spare time and imagines Tact and Lester proving who's the boss of the Elsior.
The Moon Angel Wing enter in the last two fights in the first game. The Rune Angel Wing are on their own in MK's final battle
In the final game, they show up in the beginning thus this cutscene
>Only 10 posters in here
GA is dead. You guys need to let it go.
That said, I'm just here to post the best GA who's top tier in my personal harem.
>Having a harem
>When you have Vanilla
My quest will never end. Not at least until I see the GAII anon's reaction to the finale
I'm disappointed they removed the 3d space movement of the fighters and ships.
Even when the end's fast approaching. I prefer the thread to end with a bang than a wimper.
I became a lot more attached as I kept playing. I didn't like Natsume's at first but now I love it.
Feels bad seeing that Lily, Anise, and Natsume's VA's aren't up to much these days. Anise's voice is probably the best tomboy voice I've ever heard
Late response and fucking walls of text incoming.
Overall, I prefer GA1's combat to GA2. The whole streamlining process really hurts GA2. The battles feel less tactical, and as I said before, and as >>117940700 pointed out, there's no unique feeling between the Emblem Frames.
MK's final battle is version2 of ML's, but I still prefer ML's due to the atmosphere. Sure there's a death ray being fired off every so often in MK's final battle, but I don't feel like it really adds all that much to the battle and it lacks the allied reinforcements.
From a gameplay perspective, EK's final battle has its fair share of problems as well.
For about 90% of the battle, the boss remains stationary and you're forced to destroy 6 enemies that focus solely on attacking the Luxiole. On normal difficulty, it's easy enough to just blast everything. But on mania, it becomes incredibly tedious. The 6 enemies you have to take out become amazing damage sponges and if you don't destroy them before attacking the boss, the boss gets to fire some really broken, high damaging, half-of-the-fucking-map covering lasers that shoots down Emblem Frames in 3-4 hits.
I'm not sure if it's entirely fair to judge the battle based on mania difficulty, but goddamn does it have issues when you do play on mania.
You now understood my pain when Forte's VA has so few roles.
>Forte will never be your onee-sama
Well, at least Forte's VA had some major roles in the early 2000's, the Rune girls barely have any minus Rico and Nano's VA who seem to have gotten successful.
It will never fail to get me to know that Aya Hirano voiced an angel
So could we actually fix the new Emblem Frames?
The only one that stood out to me was Natsume's. Mostly because it was slow as shit while the damage output was surprisingly high.
Okay, Imagine your are one of the staff at Brocoli and you in charge of the game's gameplay while your other bros are in occupied with the Story Aspects
Your objective is to make the gameplay good and fun.
How would you make that apply to GA based on your experiences with it and why?
Which has More conditions and objectives filed beneath it.
GAII would have at least made up for the it's lame looking Emblem Frame designs if they were at least fun to use.
Looks like the rest goes to >>117942620
Those butterfly missiles are rape trains.
But basically they need diverse armaments that make them better/worse at attacking certain targets and somewhat changes how to approach targets. An example would be like the Trick Master, which can attack at all times as long as the target is within range due to the 360 attack range of the fliers. But hopefully nothing like Sharpshooter again.
Could it be like Front Mission? You could customize the Entire Emblem Frame although they are limited by Weight, exceed the Weight Limit and your Emblem Frame can't even move.
Something else that came to mind that I hate them removing from GAII; the post-battle results screen. Combine that with >>117942620, and it would award credits and exp for upgrades so there'd actually be a point to scoring high instead of just for show.
Destroying projectiles would be too troublesome to implement though, unless it were some sort of passive ability.
I have GA3 ideas written down, and one of the new Emblem Frames would have the ability to temporarily put a shield up on a friendly unit.
Unless the ability came from equipment, the only person that'd be able to shield others from the GA/GAII cast would be Natsume.
Just wanted to say that Sharp Shooter is a beast. You just need to manually control her instead of relying on auto A.I. I love destroying whole battleships with one shot from her special.
Also, Chitose is third best girl imo.
Back online but it seems we're mostly gone. In the case the thread dies, I'll thank the 10 people who actually did show up and deliver a decent thread
OP here, signing off.
Should there be a thread tomorrow or Sunday or should I wait for next week?
