Get ready for the new episode.
Too bad the breast size is wrong.
i swear anon one day ema will become rich and successful and you will regret everything you ever said about her
I'm liking this artist. I hope he submits some colored drawings
>Live streaming has always been a thing
Hopefully some more Goth loli.
Is it in that play?
That's not Miyamori.
Well yeah i have the interview book of GuP, Actas boss said he did keep looking rankings of their show(btw he just said "the hell happened" when GuP's ranking rocket jumped after episode 4)
One of these days she's gonna be committed to a psyche ward for talking to herself with her head down all the time. Because that's what this looks like to the outside world.
So the question remains, what were they trying to say with Glasslip?
What the fuck is the director thinking with this horse bullshit at the end? I guess since I haven't seen any of the series I can't say whether Exodus is the type of series where a cowboy showing up with a hundred horses is normal, but I'm leaning towards no. Worse than an aircraft carrier ending.
This girl is precious.
Why is Zuka-chan so damn cute?
>Zuka eating spaghetti of the recording
This is them trying to make people understand that they work very hard and that you should buy the bd's so the animators who work very hard get payed.
It's really just them trying to get people to buy the Glasslip BD's
Did this bitch seriously just tell her friends "I'm bored hanging out with you, so I'm gonna bail and go hang out with someone else"?
Fucking college girls.
Why does she have to suffer so much?
This fucking glorious bastard
Being a scenario writer sounds like a pretty easy job. You just have to sit around and listen to an autistic manchild rant while occasionally taking notes.
It actually seems a lot like being a college student.
At least she's had experience with horses on past lives.
I think he should see a doctor.
That while making Glasslip they went through living hell and torture just to put an episode out plus it was an original so it makes it harder.
Then they come out with Shirobako to try and guilt trip us.
>Ema's face when
CG-chan was talking about how that guy in her company worked making some cute animals so I guess they are going to ask them for that.
i always thought that by the time the anime starts airing the story outline is mostly complete. is that wrong or is their studio just really terrible?
like a studio changing their ending mid-season seems really strange and i didn't think that was possible
What's wrong with that. I saw like 2-4 people doing stuff like this in public in a week. All of them are old people though. Plus i believe most anons here do the same thing as Aoi.
Honestly the ending seemed pretty good up until the cowboy part. Especially if you cut out the part where the girls escape through a hole.
3D seems to be pretty easy when you've prepared everything like the 3D models and other resources. costs less and probably take less time to produce, it seems like we're seeing an end of an era ;_;
>secure, well paying job
>warm and friendly work environment
>social and affable co-workers happy to interact with you and connect on a personal level
>cool and down to earth boss happy to discuss business level things even with a new low-level employee, and treats them with respect
>This is somehow unsatisfying for her
CG-chan is pretty shitty. I don't see how people can like this flighty, masculine and ungrateful car-enthusiast.
Nah Sanzigen also getting shame issue like most 2D anime studio(though of course they end up done the job like most studios, not become something like DAL)
It just Polygon Pictures is huge, they have 300+ employees
Midori please, nobody want to see your shitty otome anime.
3d really isn't a viable alternative to 2d yet. It's cheaper and faster to copypaste ugly, low-fidelity models when you need to fill a crowd, and slightly cheaper to animate something like a highly detailed mecha design that's going to be displaying a great deal and degree of motion through dynamic perspective shifts, but for anything else it's both more expensive and more time consuming to produce an end result that isn't particularly better than traditional drawn animation.
For mecha, it's mostly an issue of consistency more than cost. A 2d mecha design that sees a great deal of movement in every episode is difficult to keep consistent -and since mecha anime tend to be glorified toy commercials for the mecha design, making sure that design remains consistent while in motion or action shots is actually very much a priority, even if it doesn't actually look as good as hand drawn
Then she ought to pick up some freelance contract work on the side.
Whining that your car CG company is only doing car CG, all while you reap the full benefits (despite only being there half a year), take home a big fat paycheck and have an awesome workplace full of cool people who like and respect you is just silly.
Holy shit it's Yoshino! My sides
Exodus confirmed for shit plot
I can't deal with this.
It's been a while since an anime has hit so close to home.
It's nice making money, but god I hate working ;_;
>half of the episode dedicated to CG-chan wanting to do anime
>cliffhanger ending on Aoi needing to somehow get 100 horses into an anime
Yeah gee wiz I wonder how the Mystery Gang is going to get out of this one.
Find out on the next episode of Ema-doobie-do
Noticed that as well when I was watching. OdaKame stronk.
>Hey Ema, come to this other secret spot Sugie and Rinko-han showed me.
>Oh look, it's Horse-kun! He sometimes wanders the area looking for food
>Hey Ema, come to this secret park that Sugie and Rinko-han showed me the other day
>Oh look, there's Alpaca-san. He wanders around to take in the site.
I want to cum on CG-chan's hair
She's making pretty damn decent pay for an entry-level cgi monkey straight out of college.
Regardless of what your STEM professors or /biz/ has told you to believe, 6 figure salaries are rare, even for people with the proper training and qualifications to enter the kinds of fields where that level of pay is possible.
The average income in america is something like 45k USD a year. Relative to that, CGI-tan is doing well for herself considering she's been in the workforce for a whole 6 months. Considering the kind of expenses she's facing as a single young adult who doesn't own a car and probably lives in a single-bedroom apartment, she's going to be swimming in disposable income from a job like that.
I'd put my soul into her screw
I don't think 28k USD in Tokyo is great, even for an entry level job.
Average income isn't a great way of measuring salary for entry level professionals to be honest. Most new jobs in America are essentially minimum wage jobs in the "service industry". Which is going to skew the figures to the left. This is setting aside COL as well.
All cars are CG in Shirobako except if CG-chan talks about cars.
I want to secretly cum in the bakos' food and watch them eat it.
Anyone else shed a tear when kantoku was narrating the final episode of Exodus?
This series is so fucking passionate.
I'm wondering how/if this works on people that never took part in any aspect of this industry or are usually not interest in it?
This girl is really qt. I hope she will get more screentime of desperately trying to find a gig and fucking up every time.
She is the only truly creative of them and not just a tool used by others.
She is future Mari Okada, while their names will always remain unknown and mentioned in subtitles alongside korean slaves.
How can there be a japanese anime about warplanes where their all warplanes sucked?
Though they allready did one about navy (their navy sucks but as personified sexy girls no one cares) and tanks (thankfully, focus is on foreign tanks).
Plane anime? Il-2 vs Messersmidt would be cute. Zero and rest of japanese and american shit is fail though.
They were talking about Nabeshin, not NabeP in last episode.
Nabeshin neve rlicks others people boots. Other people lick his balls.
Can anyone explain what actually happened with the sixth episode? Most people were saying it was because Tomimo objected to the Ideon parody, then it came out that the Beckett estate took issue with the all-female production of Godot.
We can only know when they bring back the episode and see if any changes were made from it by comparing it with the original broadcast. All of the the speculations are just that, speculations.
Personally I find the latter explanation hard to swallow. How the hell could some westerner have found out about a minute, two minute max scene in a foreign cartoon?
What does this expression convey?
I like how these scenes come out of nowhere and are never mentioned again.
They are perfectly sane if you ask me
So what are the odds that CG-chan landed herself on the list of employees to fire first if the studio loses a contract?
I can already see it.
"Women aren't fit to be animators, in-betweens are too good for filthy sows like you.
-YES MASTER PLEASE LET ME DO MORE CLEANING AND IN-BETWEENS AHUUUU !
-Here is another helping of genga to be cleaned you filthy bitch !"
Zero. Its hard to find a 3d specialist any versed in specific fields. It all takes expirience and expirience is not taught in univercities (or for a fact, almost nothing IT related is actually tought).
So seeing there are no dozens 3d specialists with expirience of creating car tire meshes for 6+ months, firing her would mean hiring some hack student instead and wasting 6 months till he learns the drops (how she started probably).
Enthusiasm for work is irrelevant in this case. Half japanese hate their work.
CG is not 2d animation. All she needs is to do her own project in her "free" time (well, japanese have none but she can stop sleeping alltogether), get profficient at something enougth to make a nice demo/portfolio and she`ll have lots of choices applying to video game companies, working overseas even or freelance.
The grade of pay and amount of opportunities merely depends on how good you are at it. That said, she is meh, and only gaining expirience at this job (doing even sloppy work at start), so least few years and constant self education would do her good.
They'll send them off to Korea in boxes, after they get surrounded by koreans grinning evily they'll put them to work and they'll ahegao as they do in-betweens all day every day.
I bet they're proud of it too.
Also, I didn't know Sanzigen existed at the time of Panty & Stocking, I thought they were a new studio, like Trigger.
Well, thats the problem. She barely grows doing same meshes all the time, merely becoming "expert" in tires, suited for that specific workplace but not becomming better 3D Modeller.
Still, seeing this
was made by 1 man in free time, she has no excuses is she fails.
re-enforcements have arrived.
They are still doing it for the new people involved in the anime industry like in this episode. The staff are assuming that you already know the characters after 6 episodes putting their name and job description.
Ema's face after Aoi tells her to get cracking on animating hundred horses for the finale
bump it for her?
I don't think we can compete with the sticky, anon. Best to try again later
I thought he was alright. Straight to point telling that there wouldn't be any work other than cars coming their way, and gave her a suggestion to rethink her career if she felt it wasn't her kind of work.
I love the more subtle touches in this anime. The framing and colors used in Todou's talk with her company's president, the way Exodus' story kinda parallels Shirobako's, and the surprising ways each episode ends.
>The most intense suffering is the one we face here in real life.
Truly a deconstruction of the suffering genre.
>theme of betrayal and trust aren't quite there (yet).
>Ema goes homeless and no one wants to help her financially
>no one gives her a home
Misa, meet me in my office in ten minutes.
So anime production drives everyone to insane delusions?
Can it be helped?
Most people are bad at work when they first start, assuming it takes any kind of skill or experience. The only problem is that Zuka-chan-senpai doesn't get many chances to learn and progress. Just look at 3D girl, they said just that this episode.
Kantoku's crazy rant was more thrilling than an action scene with guns blazing.
No, she's mine. I need my slowly going insane yandere waifu.
Remember when 2D cars were a thing?
Is that some Soviet Union? Best bad guys.
As a matter of fact, I do
Do you think CGI-chan would be impressed with my car and want to go on a date with me?
I'd let her drive it too, provided she played with my stick later that night if you catch my drift.
>those ratty sneakers
I don't think any 2d would want to date you, anon.
We Thelma & Louise now.
Do laptops of this size even exist?
>a quick search later
shit looks like a 3DS on steroids.
Why is there no webm of the frantic drawing scene in the preview?
The form factor was really popular especially in Japan through most of the 00's. The increasing popularity of smartphones and later tablets pretty much killed them over the last few years though.
A website called dynamism.com used to always stock Japan/Korea only UMPCs like these, I had a friend who was totally addicted to buying them.
Because their helicopter carriers are way too small to allow that many cars on their deck and using aircrafts in the chase would be unfair for the exodus girls as they would be unnable to escape from them. So, by putting cars on the carrier you can keep the coolness of an aircraft carrier and a chaser that the girls can escape from.
someone is going to get wacked in the head soon.
