I actually think that's an interesting hint at Rin's development as a character. HA shows when she gets with Shirou, she becomes happy and lovestruck, and in HF Normal, when Shirou's dead and when she arguably doesn't have a particularly solid relationship with her sister, she becomes a stuffy magus.

Even so I don't see people getting too picky about any other scenes. It's canon in some universe, and I'm using it as an example to show Rin's potential growth. When she's with someone who goes against typical rigid magi training, she's happier and less stiff, and when she doesn't have Shirou or her sister really, she stick more to tradition.

Yes, that's after months of being on good terms together post-HF.

They didn't get to know each other as well as they did in UBW; early on it was established that Sakura was with Shirou, and respected that. In HF Normal, Shirou is dead. Rin and Shirou's relationship in that ending amounted to a guy she kind of had a crush on, but was with her sister, and then died. Asking her to wait for him in that scenario would straight up be creepy.

Everything that's been shown so far has pretty much been in the novel. All the girls have little scenes with Shirou outside their routes. The important thing is to look at the logistics. Ufotable's gone with every single Rin possible possible. Hell, the only Saber point they've gotten comes from wanting to get every Rin point. We're look at 5 for Rin, and 1 for Saber.

This is also the turning point for Rin and Shirou's relationship in the route. You saw how she acted this episode. It just gets more pronounced here.

See, the problem was that people only see part of that end. She eventually starts to interact with people more, and gets back into magecraft. Rin's granddaughter is her student. She is teaching the new head of the Tohsaka family.

I'd forgive that she still feels the guilt over Shirou, since realistically, that is what happens when you have trauma of that magnitude. She still has guilt even when she has Shirou.
