He is daily abused, trampled on and put down, has no job, and sleeps on the street, and this is pretty much what happens for the first 5-6 episodes.

But, he is somehow granted his own set of powers later in the story, and sets out on a quest to destroy those who abused their powers to put him and others down as well as everything else.
Anime ends with him killing the last settlement of humanity, having realized that humans are a terrible species.

This is all pretty much me writing from memory an older idea in a much older thread.

A loli is entrusted with a scepter that allows her to transform into a magical girl in order to defeat the douchebag demon king. The demon king is an edgy, brooding teenager with pointy ears who's trying to make humanity face its own evil by manipulating people into showing their dark side, and ultimately rule over them. While battling his puppets with the power of love, she must keep her occupation a secret from her parents and maintain a normal life as a schoolgirl.

BUT THERE'S A TWIST
As the story progresses across years, the daemon king embraces his own evil and becomes a vicious and glamorous otherworldly bishounen with long white hair and weird makeup. He stops trying to possess people into expressing their dark side, and instead manipulates the world leaders into launching a thermonuclear war that turns the world into a wasteland. The orgy of death and despair allows some of his demonic servants to manifest and gather cults of biker barbarians to enslave the last strongholds of civilization.

The loli magical girl ages into an action chick with fluffy hair and realistic proportions. Her facial dot even grows into a nose, and she discards most of her frilly attire in favor of a leotard and pauldrons, and uses her scepter as a club. After facing the death of her parents at the hands of the demon king, her righteous crusade has become personal.

In a world with no law, where no one can survive without killing, and where vengeance is the only form of justice, can our heroin still call herself a defender of love and humanity? When faced with the supreme lord of evil, will she find the strength to behave as a magical girl, will she succumb to her revengeful desires, or even worse, to his devilish charisma?

The setting is a post-apocalyptic world where the world's resources are nearly all consumed, and humans turn to scavengers looking for water and edible scraps. Organizations spring up to keep the humanity, but only one is vaguely successful.

One day, ancient ruins are discovered, and a disease starts to spread from those who discovered it. The disease feed on the host's life energy, but allows them to harness their soul energy as power. The organization allows the disease to spread among their followers, and give them a name. Soul Weapons.

this organization seeks to expand their influence with these new powers, and kill off any human that stands in their way. The disease spreads to others soon enough, and you end up with many individuals across this world with Soul Drives.

Also, in line with hard mode, all the fighters are lolis.

He's pretty much bored about everything, so he's really calm and serious. In his new school, he meets RandomGirl, and they become friends easily on the first day. RandomGirl is really cute and friendly, without a reason. After a month, they start dating.

After a week, on his way home, MC-kun is killed on the streets by RandomGirl, only to wake up on a strange house the next day. RandomGirl explains the situation; MC-kun was destined to die on an accident, but he was killed by RG instead. Why? There was a huge accident that took the life of 100 children some years ago, but God tried to give them another chance. They had until -1 year after the current events- to hunt and kill 1000 Monsters (I don't know how to name them) or else, they'll die again. RG's objective is to kill and raise a team of killers, to hunt these monsters and raise her points. One monster is 1 point, so she needs to kill 1000, and they become stronger every day. But there's a trick; if you kill other children that were on the accident, you gain 100 points. Now, all of these children are trying to kill each other. RG will raise a team to kill all of them and gain her own salvation; a selfish wish. With every person she kills before their original death, she wins a new zombie-ally, someone who's stronger than any normal human, at the cost of their life. She will hunt innocent lives of people like MC just to kill her old friends.

"You will help me take back my life, right? I'm your girlfriend after all! 'till death do us part!


Or something like that; I don't really remeber all the details I put the first time I thought about it, but the idea could change a lot and work.

I remember in the summer of 09, there was a thread challenging /a/ to make it's own manga. There were tons of great ideas from that, and we actually got pretty into it. We actually had scripts, character designs, an overarching plot, etc before it sort of just lost steam.
