Season 1 is a solid 7/10 magical girl show on the level of the first season of Nanoha.

Season 2 is a clusterfuck and is more like a parody of the first season than anything. It's more or less on the level of your average shonen filler arc. The animation is a lot better though, and the music arguably is as well.

I honestly preferred the season 1 transformations as they were quick and stylish, probably because it was cheaper to do that way. It fit more with their attack cards. Season 2 transformations are nice, but just feel like any other henshin sequence of the month.
