Yeah like how at the end they point out that Equivalent Exchange only works scientifically and not in any actual real life context. Lots of those twists and turns also make no sense or add nothing to the story, and in FMA more than half the characters don't get any sort of arc conclusion, so much so that a proper ending was demanded. Brotherhood may not be god's gift to anime but FMA is a shoddy, hole-ridden wank of fauxlosophy and a fuckblustering of a departure from the original.

1. Rushing anything is unacceptable as a work on it's own. What if I wanted to watch Brotherhood without seeing the original first? It would detract from the experience.

2. Everyone had much more forced emotions towards the end of the series. I could not connect with any of them.

3. Don't even worry about it. Both those movies were godawful, but the original movie at least kept with the rules the universe set up.
