/a/ dislikes Usagi because she's the most well known and popular girl in her show.

I personally like her. But I like most of the characters in the series, except Michiru. Who is not only arrogant and snotty, but totally useless in a fight.

As klutzy and genki as Usagi is, she still does more than Michiru ever did. Even without her plot armor.

really oughta watch the rest of sailor moon, only watched season 1 and i put it down because I heard R was bad

The first season is the best season. But its still worth watching the whole show.

The second half of R is just as good as the first season in many ways. Also where the show starts getting its 'dark'. Leading into the best movie in the series.

Stars wrapped up the show. The first season could have been the whole show...but it really wasn't complete. The manga went on and introduced a lot of the stuff you see in R, S and Stars. The anime just changed the manga (for the better in my opinion).

Stars has not one but two endings in it. It fixes the ending of SS and has the series ending. Both are some of the best endings I've seen in anime.
