Saturday GA Thread. Pray for more people
Hell, I didn't find the mango "too" enjoyable in the first place
I hope the shotas don't detract from your experience
I loved Galaxy Angel animu for being a silly, episodic comedy based around powerful characters with flawed personalities (like the Avengers if it was a sketch comedy).
Galaxy Angel mango was a tedious romcom with no direction.
Galaxy Angel Party was a series of gags in a similar vein to the animu. It was great. I have the first two volumes in English. The third was never released, but I live in hope. Surely someone must have a Jap copy of the material?
The manga could be considered the lower point cause at least the games had direction
This was the only good thing from Rune's anime.
Although, after finishing the games I miss their VA's
I was kind of hoping Milky Holmes would repeat the winning formula of comedy based around powerful characters with flaws (and some of the GA cast). Unfortunately, by making the whole series about their search for their powers, it became a load of unremarkable idiots fooling around irritatingly.
Despite how simple this is, and honestly having some bad controls, this shit is quite addicting.
I wish there was more material for Natsume.
I need more of her loli-ojou-archaic-japanese voice
First game, 2nd battle of her intro chapter. Constantly below 10fps. The in-game timer said it took about 5mins to complete. Real time, it was more like 20+. Using Flier Dance was the worst mistake and that made the whole thing drop below 3fps for a good while.
Galaxy Angel is probably one of the first titles to go on my backlog - and they're still there. I remember waiting for AH (?) to release the episodes once every few months (or so it seemed), but somehow despite having accumulated all of the shows I never managed to start watching...
The two people in this thread say that you should give it a shot.
People have been just chiming in and leaving these days.
Thankfully, I have most of this week off so I pray that we get more responses next week. I'll still try to take this thread to late night
SONO NA WA
>Full version in the music collection
in the end, nothing happened with the guy riping the subs?
Disappeared, even though we had some apparent progress.
If the anon is in the states and is in uni, it's more or less the week before thanksgiving where all the professors assign a lot of shit before so the absences we've been having might be explainable
Nano's has objectively the best routes but I just can't love her as much as the rest.
I kinda wanted to romance the maid
Anise gets adorable once the outer shell gets taken down a couple notches.
I barely see tomboy characters like her anymore, that voice just fits her so well.

It's the same for me too. Once finals are over shit should pick up.
Strangely enough, those date sims introduced me to Love Hina and possibly Eva too. Being young was great. Even shit was enjoyable.
I think it was at TGS or even at E3 where GAII got announced
Hell, I had more fun with the Love Hina sim game than the actual series.
Did they ever show the original trilogy in any expos? I clearly remember when I learned about the games, it was for the first series.
If not, I probably just stumbled across some videos somewhere.
Found some trailers/commercials for the PS2 ports of the first series so I guess those were the ones.
Might just have to trudge through the EL on the emulator for Endless Prelude
Would you play a Galaxy @ngel game?
>You are Tact Mayers, a rookie producer starting work at Transbaal Productions, who must manage 6 aspiring idols, called the Moon Angel Troupe.
>Featuring Lester, the under appreciated PR agent
Hell, they were more or less an idol group considering all the songs they sang
Maybe that's what the GA anime was all along. We never got to see Tact because he was the producer, and the angels were the stars.
Mint without her ears looks so weird.
Wein looked okay in game sprites.
Then he looks even less likable in the cutscenes
It's the purest form of fanservice and fun. 10 minutes is all they needed
Somewhat depende on the route if he personally acted as a cockblock or used Lushati
happens a couple of time, they forget to paint some parts of mint.
In their final leg of the series.
And in GA's case, I think quality helps in the comedy
Vanilla is the best girl. I came here to say this.
You speak of a fact I already know
Understandably lost some steam.
I got my thing to do and got more or less a decent thread compared a few threads back. Will make a thread near the same time for tomorrow but I'll be needing to doing some work on my end.
Will stick around as always
I believe it's at the end of the penultimate episode, where Chitose gets the power to make her wishes come true.
I'm sad Kanan won't draw more GA. Her latest works on them are so good
