No, it doesn't. Being able to finely cut through each line precisely in an instant does not come from his ability to see death. Tracing a line perfectly is difficult for anyone, and Shiki's able to trace all of a person's lines in an instant. The lines aren't straight, and they intersect often. He'd have to trace through them perfectly or else his knife would get caught in the victim's flesh.

Cutting someone apart is much easier if you don't have to worry about precision. Servants could cut someone to pieces quickly because she's powerful enough to slice through flesh and bones as if it's not even there. It would be much harder if they had to conform perfectly to lines.

After he get tired of sending shit to die, he gathers the 500 remaining lives he has, frees Arcueid, then fights in his most powerful form. He dashes at Shiki twice.
Shiki kills Nero by in three blows.
Cuts two arms off, then dots him.

Shiki does not just poke Nero, he cuts off his arms. If you remember what the scene showed, and what the VN says, the lines on Nero are not straight lines at all. Shiki has to trace the lines of death, which means a reaction timing that can time the movement of something that moves at bullet speed to cut along irregular lines.

While Tohno can get killed with bullets, Shiki going Nanaya has ridiculous reaction timing. His dad clearly was on par with another being that should move as fast as Servants, that should be faster than bullets too like Nero.

Does Nanaya Shiki awaken purely because of the Shiki's instinct due to him just being part of the family, or is it partly because of his Nanaya training?
I seem to remember in a KT side story it was mentioned that Kiri quit being an assassin straight after Shiki was born, so did Shiki receive no training at all?
