FATE LIVESTREAM THREAD
It's that time of week again. One and a half hours until the new episode. We battle episode today.
Highlights this week
>Archer versus Caster
>Saber versus Assassin
>Drown in your ideals and die
Hype threads are not livestream threads. It's good to have a specific thread for the livestream so conversation isn't fractured when the show is actually airing and then filter out into other threads after the show is finished airing to discuss it, especially since the time livestreams take place is usually the most inactive part of the day. Ultimately you can use whatever thread you please though.
The usual place.
Can't wait for ANN's review this week.
>Your face when every other "subgroup" uses some other different wording until UTW catches up circa 2017.
Three. And it would be unwise to expect more.
It's sad, but all of the other non-UTW groups subbing this shit add nothing to the CR script, so you are better off just picking whatever comes out first.
>Thank god this thread is up
>Other one was garbage.
Same shit, different name.
This episode and then the final fight. Whole reason Saber is concerned about fighting him the second time
Been using the Same OP for the last few weeks and the threads have been good.
God that thread is awful. I get that trolls like to post the stream link to cause shitposting, but don't they realise the stream is likely to get taken down that way or at least lag due to too many redditors... Pretty sure advertising a stream is against the rules anyway.
Not a Sakurafag, but she's the cutest looking ufotable
>Not a Sakurafag
Why not? Embrace the love.
Looking a bit rhino there, Saber. There isn't even any Sakura in this episode so there's no excuse for her to be sabotaged ;_;
It was devastating rejection for her.
I, Sasaki Koujirou, wish to here provide an explanation regarding the altercation which occurred at the Ryuudo Temple between myself and King of the Britons, Arturia.
On the occasion of my daily duties, my performance has been spectacular, and thinking about it now this was more than enough to make Saber fearful. However, for my part, I knew nothing of the servant's fear and unfounded slandering of me, and I had no idea whatsoever about the servant's mounting day-to-day stress.
Even when the servant came to me at the shrine my only thought was that she had come to test my strength. Further, even when Servant Saber came at me with Invisible Air, I though that this was a unique manifestation of the servant's affection and I accepted the challenge without a thought.
I knocked away the servant's sword, and after some conversation, we entered into a battle with noble phantasms, and I felt that it was actually beating her that would meet her expectations, and so before I knew it, I had won a total victory. As far as this goes, I believe my behavior is as it normally is in my day-to-day life, but I have come to learn through this incident that my being cool and strong causes some people to feel fear.
I am guilty of no wrongdoing or misconduct in this incident, and I myself am not to blame in the slightest, so I can improve nothing, but if it may be said that the mere perfection of my existence begat it, then I do offer some apology.
*teleports my sword behind you*
*stabs you from every angle so you can't escape*
heh... nothing personnel kid
>he's a counter guardian
>on the earth
>on a catastrophe zone
>he does it for free
>he takes his "job" very seriously
>he does it because it is the only amount of happiness he will ever have in his pathetic life
>he deletes people he doesn't like because he gets upset other people would die
>he deletes people he doesn't like because he made a contract with alaya to save people but he can only do it by killing people
>he will never have a part time job again
>he will never move out of the throne of heroes
>he will never have a healthy mind
>he will never get to put anything on the fire besides swords again
>he will never have a girlfriend again
>he will never have any friends again
Assassin kicked Archer ass hard
>All right. I'll say that's the case if you say so.
>But Archer told you all this? I would never think he would report to you about attacking me."
>…Yeah. But you'd think something happened if your Servant comes back wounded with no magical energy. He hides things, but he never lies. He quickly confessed what happened when I asked him.
>all this tsundere redman
>subtle backround EMIYA
>DROWN IN YOUR IDEALS AND DIE
I lost the stream. Tell me, have I heard it right? Did Kojiro use Tsubame-Gaeshi? If I recall correctly the first time they fought he didn't use it and later he used the unferior broken sword version.
Is it right? Is ufotable really that based?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how moe is Shirou?
>/fit/ as fuck
>top top housewife
Unlimited Moe Works/10
Perfect husband tier
Shirou doesnt really do anything as far as I remember. He's there when Rider dies but I dont think Shirou even realizes Shinji is watching at that time. They don't cross paths again until the Ilya scene, where they don't really have time to interact much, and when the whole Rin tied up thing happens with Lancer and Kotomine Shirou is busy fighting the red man.
>yfw ufotable blows all the wad on the first cour and the rest is deen tier
Not if we have anything to say.
They are not going to let their cash cow die on them.
Shirou is an ice cold nigga.
>Dengeki Hime 02/2006, Type-Moon Double Maniax - [Fate] Dream Battle - Archer vs. Assassin
>Nasu-san CHECK! If it's a straight out death match, then Archer will win. But Assassin is an oddity that fights under different battle conditions from the other Servants. While many Servants are offensive, Assassin is defensive. At a Servant-killing battlefield like Ryuudou Temple and with Caster's anti-sorcery defensive barrier, sorcery and Noble Phantasm power is decreased significantly. As a result, if it's not a powerful Noble Phantasm, then he won't take a fatal wound. Which means that the battle between the two is clearly swordsmanship. With Archer having his sniping sealed off to him due to the terrain effect, could Archer actually lose...?
Also, in this webm Assassin doesn't have the high ground like he had against Saber.
1. Idiot talk.
2. Caster being a badass witch from the age of Gods.
3. I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD.
4. Idiot talk.
5. Drown in your ideals and die.
6. Assassin's NP and its animation.
7. Assassin being a badass motherfucker in general.
8. I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD.
9. More Caster.
10. More drowning in ideals.
11. Idiot talk.
12. Hopefully they portray Shirou dodging Archer slashes correctly.
13. Shirou's monologue about Archer's weapons and his moves.
14. I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD.
15. Idiot talk.
did they missed something?
Because he is overcompensating for his inferiority complex and wants to punish, hurt and raise himself above people that he views as superior to himself, like Sakura.
>New director is GOD
>The guy who directed this episode is one of Ufotable's younger staff. He directed the first half of Kerry's flashback in F/Z.
Also did that 6th Kara no Kyoukai movie which was a fun breather compared to last movie
Started niche (decent size) but a loyal as fuck following
Got bigger after the DEEN anime (Awful but it helped it grow)
Realta Nua made it explode.
KnK movies got people interested in TM
F/Z anime expands the appeal of the franchise
When you look at the timeline since 2004 it is amazing to see how it changed into the monster of a series it is now.
His VA makes it obligatory for him to.
Who would bother making that image? Really, replacing Rider with Shinji?
I lost it especially with Caster just staring at them.
They didn't leave out anything really important, only dialogue, and we may get that in the BDs.
They added the Saber vs Assassin fight, it was basically Fate's, but Assassin used full Tsubame Gaeshi instead of the two hit version.
Rin's dream about Archer was added too, that was supposed to be last episode, but the outcome was good.
>They actually use 3D models and rotoscope it AFAIK.
I still need to read it. Fucking backlog.
People were worried they were going to make this too serious to try and copy the F/Z feeling.
Glad Ufotable is handling this well as you see Saber smiling a lot and Shirou being.....Shirou.
KOJIROU IS SO FUCKING BASED.
>Kojiro can go against Artoria and Emiya despite having no NP and not even being a Heroic Spirit
>Musashi, who is supposed to be stronger than him and is famous enough to be known as a great swordsman overseas, would be useless
>Have to wait to May 2015 to see this
I was never worried about them handling the dark stuff. They are going to do a amazing job with HF for that reason alone.
They just don't have that must experience with the lighter comical moments. They showed they can do it though.
F/SN is nice because you get some comedic moments like
I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU HAD FLAB?but then you get shit like Shirou's ideals and world views getting absolutely shit on, Shinji being a huge piece of shit to everyone, Shirou losing his arm to save Ilya and so on.
>not fainting for both UBW activations
>Based fake assassin
BEST FUCKING SERVANT
Are you pretending to be retarded? That comment you posted was in RESPONSE to the ones you responded to. No one posted those comments afterwards. Everyone thought he was talking about Fuyuki.
God, fuck off back to /r/anime you piece of shit.
Yeah, I know. I just meant that he never fought Musashi, so we can't know who's stronger in reality.
It's probably something like Musashi is stronger overall, but Kojiro is more skilled.
No you fucking moron. The people who were responding to you were responding to people who WERE only talking about Fuyuki. After the faggot who brought it up in the first place clarified he was considering other wars as well, no one commented again and the conversation died until you, the supreme idiot, decided to butt in and act like a retard, at which point people clarified that they were under the impression they were only talking about Fuyuki.
God I think you might actually be touched in the head.
False Assassin didn't have his high ground advantage at that point, and Archer specializes in a defensive fighting style that involves intentionally creating openings to lure the strikes to that location where he already prepared a defensive move against with Mind of Eye (True).
In other words, Archer is still likely to lose.
> Oppressively entitled interior monologue.
> I'm automatically a fan of any scene where Shirou is threatened with injury.
> Daddy issues x2.
> History teacher.
> Shirou Emiya, disliked by Type-Moonies.
> UBW has the strongest thematic material.
> Continuation of F/Z.
Third wave feminists: never once. We could have enough power to power the country for decades if we could make cognitive dissonance into a power source.
Which Assassin are we talking about here?
I really don't want that I really hated the "good" ending because It felt like a massive asspull to just say "saber's alive because she wants to stay" also it didn't make sense to me how Rin would be able to have enough mana to keep saber there as a magi. the only person who could do that is sakura because she is a lesser grail
>implying they're not building it up so it'd be more emotional to watch Saber disappear destroying the grail
>Middle East is asia minor
No, that's Anatolia (Turkey). Iraq and Iran are further away. And India is part of European history too, the Greeks already had contact with it and Alex wanted to get there.
I'm ready for MUH TSUBAME GAESHI shitposters
>Diarmuid as Saber
Did he ever use a sword in his legend that he can use as a noble phantasm?
From F/Z materials:
>Also, while he was summoned as a Lancer this time, and therefore carried the twin demonic spears Gae Dearg and Gae Buidhe, his legends also speak of a pair of demonic swords: Moralltach and Beagalltach. So, there was actually a decent chance he could have been summoned as a Saber. Or rather, that's probably what Kayneth was hoping for…
I really want the fight with Gil to be them swinging at eachother while swords in the air clash. It says on the TM wiki that Shirou can operate the swords like archer while fighting too.
>he can be considered a match for Heracles in Greece or King Arthur in Britain
>Within a range of one kilometer, there may be a maximum of twenty thousand pikes gradually manifested over time
>If Lancer is able to hit an enemy with his own lance, the concept of "raising pikes" will be added to enemy's own body. Numerous pikes will extend out from opponent's heart and pierce them from within
I'm not sure that's much of a fight
Waver is a miracle of the universe.
>To be honest this was a great waste of money as there was no need of showing it and I hope it bites them in the ass later.
The scene was where Shirou became captivated by Archer's fighting style and Kanshou and Bakuya. It's subtle development.
Complain when/if Ufotable runs out of time to properly animate really important things but not now. Right now you're complaining for the sake of it.
HF True? That's considerably better, a broken grail still pulling in mana keeping a servant is more acceptable than an above-average mage being able to sustain saber just by being cummed periodically.
And it doesn't match Saber's personality at all wanting to stay, it's an insult to actual saberfags.
>You will never have Shirou as a loyal friend that would do anything for you.
So in H/A you play as Bazett right?
