Which manga series are you most excited for when a new chapter comes?
It doesn't have the best, the most exciting or held the title very long.
87 Clockers makes me feel kind of embarrassed that I never actually got around to Nodame.
This, but I buy the tanks instead of reading each new chapter as it comes out. I don't even think I could find scans of the chapters anyway. I've found scans of the September issue of the magazine it's serialized in, but not any other months.
Are you the only person who posts this every so often, or are there are some other people as well?
>buy the tanks instead
I hate it when people complain about waiting on tanks instead.
What's this, did Nodame author start a new series? She really shouldn't have, her art deteriorated big-time in Nodame's last dozen chapters and she shouldn't have bothered with the Opera extra arc.
That's some terrible sameface, they're literally Nodame and Chiaki
Just read Nodame's first half, Japan arc is the best part of the series. The second half takes place in Europe and was nowhere near as funny or engaging, don't bother
Really, still? Survivalist manga tends to burn out in interest over time. I can't remember the last time I caught up Suicide Island even though it was 'the' series a few years back.
This is probably the first or second time I posted about it. I found out about it from someone who posted a picture of it in the buyfag thread a few months ago, and I ended up picking it up.
>That's some terrible sameface
This is literally the only page where they're drawn like this. I don't think it's that bad, it's not like most mangaka really escape sameface very well.
>Which manga series are you most excited for when a new chapter comes?
>Implying my list isn't full of monthly mango or slow scans
>Implying I don't waver between crushing apathy and cautious excitement
Rotte no Omocha is such a tease sometimes. Little brown dwarves, one glass of alcohol, Naoya realizing loli is fucking justice.
>>Implying my list isn't full of monthly mango or slow scans
Isn't everyone's? But there's always that one series I've found. It might only last a few months or weeks while there are constant releases.
>Do they fuck if not why read
Pinup quality panels
I really like this one. Definitely the one I look forward to the most.
I'm mainly waiting for this every now and then. The rest get more sporadic releases in comparison.
One Piece, Kingdom, One Punch (ONE), Toriko, and Minamoto-kun
Boku no P
Herois slowly creeping it's way into my heart.
Also, julia best grill.
Hana is too damn irrelevant.
It certainly isn't the best or the most interesting by any stretch of the imagination, but The Breaker New Waves is finally having a little plot progression after some 180 chapters, so that in and of itself is sort of novel
>so that in and of itself is sort of novel
At around 100 I probably said the same thing. At around 50 I probably also said the same thing. At least things are starting to make some sort of stupid sense. I notice that no one even posts threads about it anymore. Not that I'm displeased about it.
Too bad BWYS are slow as shit. I still love them, but damn they're slow.
The original wasn't that bad. At least it had a bit of humour going for it. NW has nothing like that.
At least they 'look' like they started again. I wish it got licensed. Maybe it would have a better chance of getting translated timely.
I generally don't read ongoing manga as there's always that chance it'll end like shit or get cancelled.
The only think I really read as it comes out is Yotsuba or stuff that isn't plot heavy like Okusan. (PLOT heavy doesn't count). Also, OPM.
I blame /a/ for a bunch of the ones I'm currently following. Mostly because of dumps I guess. A bunch of others are legacy. I read a bunch of SOL though. I'm certainly not picking shit up like Billy Bat anytime soon. And there's some weekly shit which will always have scans.
HxH, Vagabond and Berserk in mainstream
Real, Sun-ken rock, Chang Ge Xing and OPM amongst lesser known ones.
HxH absolute favourite....
Sekai Maou. It's also been a while since I've seen any Kyoukai Senjou no Rinbo. That sucks.

These days I put everything I'm not crazy for in the "read when finished" pile.
Beyond that pic is most anticipated.
Also WCW, Choukakou, and Stretch.
This one. Unfortunately there aren't really scans to speak of.
My African brother.
But I honestly don't know which series I like the most now. I'm always excited for new chapters of Dorohedoro, Nichijou, Keyman. Even Centaur's worries, Teppu, Natsume or anything by Kei Toume or Dowman. I love them all.
7Seeds, I didn't catch up to it for a while but after reading the last few translated chapters I really want to know what's going to happen. I also read Yowamushi Pedal any time a new raw chapter gets uploaded but the art is starting to get kind of plain.
I was wondering it they only restarted because someone paid a translator to do volume 4.
Same, and there's another really nice looking dance manga from an h-artist that was posted on here a week or so ago
The chapters look like they were deleted from batoto but you can still find them on some other sites with the note. They were out maybe a week or two before BWYS suddenly stared to chapters from the same volume, which seems a bit fishy to me.
