Keith didn't even attack with it, so it's effect and attack are probably the same thing. The text literally just says "Attach to an enemy's monster and explode in 1 turn" and the damage would be the difference between Blast Sphere's and the equipped monster like a normal battle. The real life effect is better in most situations.

No but if the Xyz itself leaves the field, its overlay materials go to the graveyard.

Some Xyz require 3 or more monsters too, and their effects might even require you to remove 2 Xyz material or ALL materials.

That said there aresupport cards to counteract this limitation on Xyz effects.

XYZ monsters you mean? No, they are treated as monsters, the XYZ materials (the cards beneath) are only used as costs if there is a card that states 'detach 1 XYZ material...' to use their effect. If they lose their XYZ materials, they still stay on the field.

Another thing is, if you flip an XYZ monster face-down, they don't lose their XYZ materials because they are not treated as equip spells. They only leave if the XYZ monster leaves the field as well, which means you send those XYZ materials to the graveyard if that happens.

No, it's all nostalgiafag talk, in fact, they recently unbanned Raigeiki, a card that had been stuck in the forbidden list since 2004.

Not only that, but fusions are also more relevant than ever, rituals are tier 1 and pendulum is trying to bring back advanced summoning (tribute summoning).

also xyz can go in any deck because it's so flexible. Fusion deck, ritual deck, synchro deck? No problem, just have at least 2 xyz essentials in each deck and you're good

Back in the day when YuGiOh had just gotten to the Egyptian God Cards I had a deck that was insanely unbeatable. I don't remember what specific cards I had just that I destroyed everybody. I wish I had kept that deck.

It got to the point that I let kids do anything they could try to beat me. Play with 60 cards, or just their best cards, one kid had some fake Chinese God Cards, I let him play with them and still best him. Later on, our school was playing out rival for some basketball championships, their best YuGiOh player came up to me and challenged me to a duel.

Man I'll never feel that cool again. We were outside of the gym and I had like 15 kids there behind me, half of them weren't even my friends and so did he and I fucking best him and we all started screaming. Eventually a teacher came and we lost the basketball champs but it was so cool.

Too bad, I've tried to get into the new games but couldn't. Sure, early YGO and Pokemon could be broken, I mean everyone was running those decks with Scyther and Co back in the day for pokemon, but the newer stuff just doesn't have it. Probably because I'm not a kid anymore
