What does /a/ think of Hideaki Anno?
He's the future director of Neon Genesis Evangelion
I liked Gunbuster, I adored Evangelion. All in all I'd say he's an 8/10 Director.
>posting shit version
>Lucas worked with Kurosawa
>Anno inspired by Kubrick
just trying to stand on the shoulders of giants i guess
It's over, at least until we get the BDs with the extra Kentaro Yano scenes.
Didn't know it's another certain hot-blooded mangaka's work.
I think he is a fucking closet homosexual and a vegan.
I wish a scan group would pick up the manga. While the anime obviously skips and embellishes some stuff, I'm sure the source was great too, if not for better pacing. And as much as I love how honoo is an exaggerating bitch, I don't ever want to see a "sweat" drop on his face again...
Some people can't handle the fact that Anno made the definitive anime in a few tries.
Look at Tomino. He spent 40 years making a lots of giant robot anime and there is only one work come close to Evangelion.
As an artist, a generally talented fellow who had a stroke of absolute genius with Eva. Absolutely his magnum opus. As a person, a fucking hypocritical shithead who somehow fails to even understand his own work.
The actual government is what decides if you live or die when you're indebted to them in Japan.
Not the hellhound who manages the money like in Clapistan.
