Honestly Gun-Ota never really took off for me, it's light in places like world building and chapter length, but spends a lot of it's time going into detail on metallurgy. The detail on making weapons wouldn't be a huge deal if it padded everything else out, but it's really light outside of that. The reverse is true too, I wouldn't mind it being so light if it didn't waste chapters on recounting stuff from another angle and construction. It's just a bad balance all around.
