Fate/ related news: http://www.typemoon.org/bbb/diary/
Looks like Nasu's only written half of what he wanted to write about EXTRA, so get ready.
We're never getting that Tsukihime remake.
Nasu is quite passionate about his rich, interesting and compelling stories such as Caster in Fate/Extra.
Guys, I don't get it. Why all of you are blaming Nasu? He finished Tsuki's remake script long time ago.
I'm glad Nasu has finally grown out of Tsukihime and Melty Blood and is focusing on what's important, and that's Fate/Extra.
What will we do when Bloodborne comes out?
I like that too.
I really enjoyed playing Extra more than original FSN one cause I had a chance to play as a girl MC than boring Shirou in every 3 routes.
I hope the group translating CCC will still do that.
As long as we get more best Caster I am happy.
Are you daft? The EXTRA-verse has limitless potential. You could do a story about the actual earth or more shenanigans in the Moon Cell, or even one of the other virtual worlds like the one in the gil end, or some sci-fi shit in space even.
No need for it to be about MC again
I want to see the story of Price. The struggles and hardships. Challenges he had to face with Caster as his Servant. The discovery of the Moon Cell Grail.
Fate/Extra... ? What do we call it?!
We might get a main menu patch next year. That's being generous.
>bad characters, story and writing.
that's like all his works. He's only good at worldbuilding. But I'd like to see how he would fix the problems that were in Tsukihime in all those aspects.
He likes the Extraverse because he can have his cake and eat it too.
The Moon Cell allowed him to make a conflict as bloody as he wants, give it a sci-fi setting which he loves, and do whatever the fuck he wants with power levels.
Now : Pick a returning Servant besides Gil or Emiya who is going to be playable.
Tsukihime was the first of it's kind and I agree, yeah. It's aged a bit like milk. The manga is a great interpretation of it's good points, though.
Do you like the characters in EXTRA?
Yeah, I agree. You see them so briefly, too. Damn shame. CCC's supposed to be better and it's going to be a long time before we get there.
What DO you like about the Type Moon stories?
Oh wow more typemoon cute kitsune chan fluffy tail so kawaii omg! so cute I want to hug and tight and soft cheeks and lovely titties eating icecream on cute and sexy beach!
FUCK NASU DIE
D I E
Too bad CCC doesn't do anything to develop the Extra character I was most interested in.
>What DO you like about the Type Moon stories?
Character designs and general setting, I love Melty Blood in particular.
I just feel like T-M stuff is much better suited for games than VNs. You've got all these cool character concepts and magic mumbo jumbo which are all pretty interesting by themselves, but when he presents these things in a VN it just turns into a boring story with long exposition text dumps every other minute and flat characters.
Extra gets localized. And is successful.
But translation costs and makes CCC less profitable than in Japan even though Japan had to make the entire game from the ground up rather than just localizing it. So no CCC ever.
Now we may get even more Extra.
Why are people being butthurt again? Nasu should be free to write whatever he wants to, not what people want him to. He's passionate about F/E and clearly enjoy writing it so I say go ahead.
I'm not butthurt at all. I like Extra and I'm looking forward to seeing what else Nasu can do with it. Maybe if we're lucky they'll improve the gameplay too.
I just read Kenji and there was a whole volume dedicated to him, it was pretty nice after playing extra and knowing so little.
No one wants Shirou clone, we get Archer who is at least a million time better anyway.
Ilya gets her own series already, I'd like to see a cameo but no more than that or it's just overexposed.
Would Lee Shuwen and Kojiro be bros?
Does anyone care about Apocrypha or is it a cashgrab?
It's like they wanted to make a HOTTER AND SEXIER version of F/SN.
This character is a sexier Caster for example.
Best Saber died way too early
Why? CCC gave Extra a sense of closure.
I wouldn't mind if there were no other projects due to be released, but he's already delayed Mahyo 2 and 3, in addition to the Tsukihime Remake.
Whilst I enjoy Fate, I think he could postpone milking it more and get done with all the other works that are pending.
Hell, it's not as if there's no Fate currently in-work, considering Apocrypha is still being released, the UBW is currently airing, the HF movie will be released soon, and the Strange Fake novel will start serialisation next year.
Honestly, just give it a rest.
We've seen nothing of it, but an introduction teaser to judge Strange Fake at this point retard.
Do what? A prequel? Because, as far as we saw, the main issue in Extra was solved by BB's actions.
Anyhow, as I said, I really wouldn't mind more Extra if he finished the other projects first.
However, Nasu just keeps sidetracking over and over again, even though Mahoyo is quite a likeable novel, and there's hype for the Tsukihime Remake.
Who did you like and who didn't you like.
>Super effective vs Dragons
>Can turn you into Dragon type
>Tsukihime babies crying
Good, good. Bring more Fate, Nasu.
What if it's announced to release on the 15th Anniversary because he felt that he had to polish it for another five years?
Later delays it to the 20th Anniversary for the final touches.
So, what about Archer and Caster? Were they good waifu bait as well? Whenever CCC gets translated, I might pick Gil this time around as long as he doesn't try to make any moves on FMC.
I just want Enkidu to show up in something other than Strange Fake
Shiki can kill Servants. Nasu already said MEoDP can affect spirit forms like Servants.
If they ever add another servant in a sequel or something he should be Nikola Tesla. He would be called lightning or something similar. I bet he would defeat Gilgamesh by electrocuting him. That armor may be unbreakable so Tesla just goes around it.
He can only kill a servant if he stay still or is sleeping, as they have superhuman speed and reflexes, that even Koujirou can cut Shiki's hands before he even approaches him.
