Ready to admit that he's Villain of the Year All Years?
No, because the fact is, OP's got a lot of "big" villains who take some sort of center stage for a while and seem like they're the ultimate nemesis in some sense or another.
Arlong, Crocodile, Enel, Akainu, Blackbeard...
Give it a year and Doflamingo will likely end up overshadowed by someone else in the series.
And yet their intangibility is automatic, they don't have to do anything for things to pass right throw them.
Yeah they sure aren''t made of their element. God why does One Piece have so stupid of readers?
So here is another reason why being submerged and water and touching Seastone is not the same thing.
Submerged in water : Completely unconscious, not ability to move.
Touching seastone : conscious, slight movements allowed.
So how is seastone and the sea the EXACT same thing?
Imagine this was Avatar or something and a waterbender put a ring of water around a devil fruit user's wrists. It'd have the same effect as seastone.
The question is, why doesn't frozen seawater affect devil fruit users?
Yes, that's the absolute truth. Anyone who disagrees is just baiting
Except Kalifa was in a bath and was just fine, she even explained DF users are fine in water so long as they don't have a majority of their bodies in it.
And yet a slightest of touch of seastone renders a DF user useless.
Sure is the same effect moron. Do you people even know what the word "same" means?
>And yet their intangibility is automatic, they don't have to do anything for things to pass right throw them.
Are you stupid? The intangibility has always been a triggered ability, it's why Crocodile was such hot shit, he trained his fruit powers to turn intangible as a reflex rather than a conscious decision.
That's not Croco-boy
It's easy to checkmate your opponent, if you just implement your own rules.
Nah Law is Mystery the pick up artist.
oh yeah? i most have missed those chapters showing a croc flashback where he was training like you said. That is completely made up by you and never actually mentioned in the series.
All we ever see is logia users smiling as nothing can touch them. Not doing anything else, nor have they ever said they needed to do anything.
Sabo got intangibility immediately. This is apparent when Fujitora brings down a meteor and he says "oh yeah I need to learn to not dodge things because I don't have to". How did he learn to not have to do anything in a mere few hours at most?
>Imagine this was Avatar or something and a waterbender put a ring of water around a devil fruit user's wrists. It'd have the same effect as seastone.
No it wouldn't, a devil fruit user has to be more than 50% submerged in water for it's curse to take effect.
Seastone is concentrated sea-energy, it's why touching seastone bars causes the same effect as being submerged. But seastone can also be worked like any other mineral, and most likely it can be tinkered with, since seastone cuffs only smother the devil fruit powers without robbing the user of their strength
Wel IRL they can grow up to 1 meter in zoos, and 1.5 meters in the wild (Actually they won't anymore because there are like less than 300 in the wild)
Do you forget the chapter where both Smoker and Ace, Logia users, were thrown through multiple buildings by Luffy launching himself into them? Obviously you did since you don't know what you're talking about.
Sabo did not immediately turn intangible, he had to remember to trigger that defense rather than physically dodge everything
Hahahaha, tip that fedora some more you retard.
Read chapter 170. This is also explained on the wiki:
"Despite the fearsome power of Logia users, they are far from truly being invincible. Sneak attacks are more likely to work, as the user will not be ready to avoid them. However, with training, most Logia users learn to transform by reflex, eliminating the ability to strike them by conventional means."
Now, back to >>>/reddit/ with you.
This better not end up like Naruto where every villain is directly connected to each other in power tiers. I like Doffy being his own separate element with Kaido just looming behind him. Not in control, but still influencing him because he'll kick his ass if it comes to it.
She seems too inept around the male body to have been raped. I think she was just beaten and abused instead: The celestial dragons are very aloof and I doubt that they'd even want to touch a commoner with their bare hands.
I wish Robin would troll someone like she did Vivi.. or Tashigi
Here we see Crocodile explain that he's trained his devil fruit powers to perfection
100% the placeholder for best villain...but just a placeholder.
Oda has something good up his sleeve for BB I bet.
And here are two Logia users being caught off guard by an attack, so they are unable to trigger their defense.
Reflexive defense was demonstrated numerous times, such as bullets passing through Kizaru, Crocodile getting his head cut off by Doflamingo and Akainu getting cut in half by Crocodile. A highly trained Logia user can activate their intangibility on reflex which allows them to avoid attacks even if they didn't see them coming.
Like I said, the fight with him was great but his actual character was shit. I've had more enjoyment out of Doffy as a character so far than Lucci and Doffy's fight isn't even over yet.
Enies Lobby will always be the greatest arc.
I did like the he was a free spirit.
I'd like to meet a couple more before we're done.
There really doesn't seem to be any other easy going pirates aside from Shanks in the OP world.
> these guys
how easy you all forget about the true master mind of the series who no matter how much you break him apart, he always comes back in
Would you a young Kokoro?
Fuck you Caesar. You magnificent loveable and yet so horrible fart gas cloud of evil and fun, come back to us in the main story so we can have lots of laughs watching your smug face getting punched in repeatedly.
Trebol will probably betray Doflamingo since one of the more recurring themes this flashback is family betrayal. Everyone whose actually been his true family he's felt as betrayed him and he probably considered Trebol as his new father after he killed his previous one. Trebol's a sleeper agent that works with Blackbeard maybe
>yfw Zou arc is full of Brook getting more screen time and character exposure and more Caesar horrible hijinks
Trebol it's the true villain, it's the arc twist celebrating the 10th aniversary of the ennies lobby twist
Oh my god should this be true I swear I'll build a temple dedicated to Oda.
So, if Trébol's the main villain, how did he get wrecked by Law?
>had a tons of boyfriend
>dad is a fucking hippie
>decides to move to Niggertown
>mum dies from illness
>niggers almost kill your entire family
>older brother goes batshit fucking insane and murders your dad in cold blood
>join the army
>find out your brother is now a mafia boss; killing, stealing and raping his way through the world
>infiltrate his family
>try your hardes to turn children away
>get literally stabbed in the back by some kid with a past worse than yours
>do your best to find a cure for the kid
>older brother shoots you in cold blood too
>virgins on /a/ call you a little bitch
Roci had a hard life
She's just inocent, gullible, naive
>tons of boyfriends
Just 8.. who were killed by Doffy before even hold hands with bbz5.
Admit it. Baby 5 is best waifu
>Except Kalifa was in a bath and was just fine, she even explained DF users are fine in water so long as they don't have a majority of their bodies in it.
Except that's utter horseshit because we learned in that very same chapter that she was just sitting in her own bubbles. Jesus, retain some fucking knowledge for once.
I'll give Oda the benefit of the doubt but shoehorning Drake in there seems a little forced.
The whole "used to be a coward" thing gives the character a little more depth.
I wonder how much more he'll expand on that if we get a Kaidou based arc.
Most important storyline characters were bad as fuck in their youth.
>He's hinting that Drake is still a marine
I hadn't even considered that.
He'd have to be in deep fucking cover though since Kizaru fucked him up at Shabody.
Still, I can see it.
Does rape count as being a slut
you know, he rushed in and tried to bust up that kizaru fight. he had no reason to do that, and i always wondered why. Maybe he IS still a marine and was hoping to make good ties with supernovae
>tfw we finally had a great flashback arc after the timeskip
Tiger Fisher was good, just not great. Definitely set up Koala very well.
How to beat any devil fruit as law:
Step 1) always have some friend with you
Step 2) put sea stone cuffs on your friend
Step 3) switch personality of DF user with your friend
Step 4) put sea stone cuffs on your friend (now in the DFs body)
Step 5) switch them back
GG. One piece is over. Law is god.
zoro can still kill him easily though using only 1 sword style and not even activating his zorogan.
No, i'm afraid I don't. Here are the main points.
-What an awesome chapter!
-Look at these small visual details, like Law being in a chest with treasure so it would be the right weight
-Wow Doflamingo is a dick
-No he isn't
-X DRAKE'S ORIGIN STORY GODA GODA!
-Trébol is the real mastermind behind Doflamingo.
That was about it. Also some pedos talking about how much they want to fuck child Law and Sugar.
Good fight ≠ good villain
He had no motives, dreams, ambitions, or reason to fight other than "lol the boss told me to kill this intruder so here I go". He's a fucking bodyguard.
Because in the next panel she is feeling the
branding iron. Like holy shit that much should have been obvious.
This is a shonen manga, do you really think they'd depict rape ? All Oda can do is suggest it. Kubo did the same thing with Rangiku. Children don't get it, but adults do, that's the point of these ambiguous panels.
From first chapter thread:
>Young Vergo: Doffy... This is our boss
>SnotOzzy (tentative): You say they all fell unconcious? That's "Haki!"
>Rosi: Brother, stop! Please stop!
>Doflamingo: Why did you take my powers away!!
>SnotOzzy: Do you want power to exact revenge?
Also what if the flashback continues next week and introduces Kaido, doubt it'll happen but Drake being there makes me think it might happen
Or the kid will turn out to be Bellamy
Jesus, /a/ is full of retards. The stuff with with Vergo and Trebol is literally a level 3 flashback. The rest of the page is level 2. Chronologically, Doflamingo at some point used CoC without knowing it, and Vergo (an underling of some organization, likely a children's gang) brought Doflamingo to meet with his boss, Trebol. Trebol explained that what he used was Haki and learned about Doflamingo's story, after which he offered him the power to exact revenge (either the String Fruit, or a gun). Doflamingo then went to his dad and shot him in the back of the head.
It appears to be a random assortment of flashbacks, from right to left:
Vergo was Doflamingo's first friend
Trebol found out Doflamingo had Conqueror's Haki
Corazon begging Doflamingo to stop, very likly the day Doflamingo killed their dad
Doflamingo screaming in rage is hard to put down to a moment, but I bet this is during the final argument he had with his father before he shot him (i.e "his power" he is talking about is his World Noble powers, not his DF)
Trebol talking about revenge might be when Doflamingo got his Devil Fruit or became the guy we know today
> but the real world is dark, what is shown doesn't matter, we know things have to be dark to match the real world
I can't believe you are so bad at this that you can't even properly argument something that seems logical
>read "witty" ironic comment
maybe do something about that superiority complex.
I just honestly mixed up the timeline of events. I need to reread this at some point because there's a lot of stuff from the beginning I can't remember about anymore that seems to be coming back up
Explain how Doffy is one dimensional.
Oh wait, you probably can't because you don't read One Piece.
Go shitpsot somewhere else.
> one dimensonal
And hell even the one dimensonal villians like Crocodile and Enel still shit all over Naruto's and Bleach's antagonists.
What you mean? Didn't you heard about the bird café?
Is this supposed to be English?
Trebol offered Doffy a chance to turn his revenge into power. How mad would it be, that the great puppet master of the Grand line turned out to be one that was controlled the whole time
I'm not even the guy you replied to before.
so, are you implying we're only allowed to make jokes via memes that are used 100s of times a day because your autistic mind can't fathom ironic statements he's never read before?
One more tip: Consider getting a keyboard, so you can write your own sentences and don't need to write in copypastish.
>implying you can reflex dodge something you don't even notice
what is you're boy physique? if their body isn't automatically tangible then it can be touched in a sneak attack because that person isn't in battle mode, so their reflexes aren't automatically on.
>Not knowing what haki is
since when is haki an automatic thing? won't help in a sneak attack. you have to activate all haki, yes including CoO.
>Thinking that it's impossible to notice a person if they're quiet
and yet the barrel pirates didn't, i'm not talking about broad daylight here. there's a reason while it's called sneaking.
From the other thread
Doffy was back then around 8 years old. Trebol is 8 years oldaer than Mingo. The man who offered the power could not be 16 years old, he looks at least 30. Conclusion, he is not Trebol, only his relative. That's the reason why he is similar to oozie boy.
>Still not knowing what reflex means
>Not knowing how haki works
>Thinking that Roci attacked during the day
>Believing that Roci's attack only worked because of his fruit and not because he shot out the lights
No my friend you do not know what reflex mean or how haki works.
Yes that's what I meant, that's how he would kill logias, in the dark, or low visibility situations. You made it seem like I was saying he could kill logias anywhere anytime. Nope, I said in very stealthy sneak attacks.
