As my wife yes.
She's the sole heir to one of a high-ranking noble family that governs a large chunk of her world, so I think so.
She's going to become a brilliant artist one day, I'm sure of it.
And at the same time, my wonderful wife.
>suicidal drugged up alien girl who is key to the apocalypse
I don't see a bright future ahead for Rei-chan
Depending on the timeline, she could end up with the most depressing death in the history of VNs
Yes of course, she's a
hentaitensai shoujo after all!
You haven't read many VNs, have you?
I read too many. But I always had a thing for /fit/ girls and female soldiers and grils with strong will, and Suzuha was all that and more...
And then she died in such a pitiful way (ఠ్ఠ ˓̭ ఠ్ఠ)
why does she look so confused when someone hands her a piece of paper?
is she so incompetent that she incapable of basic office tasks and interactions?
You tell me.
I don't care either way, she can be a stay at home wife if needs be.
I interpret that expression as "determined".
Exquisite taste friend.
>survives the impossible
>gets to live a happy life
>gets to live her lost childhood
>grows up to be happy.
I think she'll be fine and have what she actually deserves.
Except in a non-canon manga side story by the author where Rika wakes up peeing her bed, only to find out that her body is decomposing and she'll likely not even live to be old due to her longevity of her soul destroying her body.
I just hope it isn't true.
Rika deserves a happy end. She deserves to be happy.
Azu came out ok in that one. Sure, no one else did, and she didn't get quite what she wanted, but she's better off than anyone else.
Incidentally, was Mugi in that? I can't remember.
Her entire life has been defined by suffering as well as causing suffering, she failed in everything she'd set out to do, hasn't even existed properly for the past two years and is most likely slated for death. T-thanks for asking
Yes, and no. Of course, I'd prefer to steer her towards the more positive outcomes. She's a genius and an acclaimed scientist and should have no trouble in her future.
Been a while since I've seen a Suzuha fan. Excellent taste.
Excellent taste too, anon. Too bad kuristiiiiiiina fans are all over the place.
Yes. She will become the most famous hitwoman in the world.
Lonely ''christmas cake'' with social anxiety. She hates her shitty office work and stupid coworkers. Maybe she`ll find gaijin husband and will be happy.
Does/would your waifu enjoy blowing stuff up?
She doesn't have the best grades, but her work discipline is good. The education system in her show tries its best to foster their pupil's independence.
Having a supporting cast sempai waifu is suffering.
After reading the VNs, I can understand why Suzuha is so appealing to some people. Definitely second best girl in my book. Her "O-haaaa~!" still gets me every time.
Once Finland becomes a NATO country she will probably be recycled, or bastardized to take 5.56.
By recycled does that mean I'll get a chance to load my bullets into her?
She'd really love doing something like that! Yunocchi has just the right, sweet, kind, and open personality for it.
Never. She is my waifu forever.
It's fleeting hope, but I want to believe.
And yes, she is. The cutest and most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Although I think everyone will say that of their waifus.
I think so, being involved in the military-industrial complex of the Empire of Japan doesn't sound too bad.
>thing for /fit/ girls and female soldiers and grils with strong will
It is for this reason and being voiced by Yukarin that she was best girl. I've take it you've read the ML trilogy? Nice number of the beast, by the way.
A Cryskabro, now this is a rare sight. My condolences to you as a fellow Muv-bruv.
Her present is pretty bright. Not sure how much brighter it can get, though it helps to be optimistic.
She's not one for explosives, but she does have a thing for sharp objects.
She's not dead; she's resting. Remarkable bird she is. Beautiful plumage.
I wouldn't say it's bright, but she has a long future ahead of her.
Don't think she enjoys it, but she is certainly capable of doing so.
It's not unheard of for armies to sell disused weapons or even vehicles to civilians. You can save her!
Gone though she may be, she watches over you even now. And one day, you'll meet her again.
Stein's Gate seems a nice place to visit. Geniuses to talk to and expand knowledge on a mutual basis, and there's fun activities outside of that too. I'd think she'd get along with all, except Kurisu. Aegis does not easily understand people who have trouble admitting to their feelings, and I have no idea how Kurisu would react to someone as brutally honest as her.
No reason why not. The fucked up stuff is over and she's smart enough.
Forgot a picture smart ass
Yuuya a meh. He's no Bratty Savior.
>(let's say in cases like Muv-Luv it's just a movie role)
Good thing you said that because if someone were to say Muv-Luv I'd say you have some serious issues if you want your waifu to be in there.
I'd like to see Yui appear in Girls Und Panzer, since there she can show her military spirit without the all the nastiness of a bug war going on. She works with military machines all the time, tanks wouldn't be too foreign to her. I think she might come across as too overbearing and bossy to most of the girls, but through capable leadership, they would respect her.
Humanity Has Declined. I'm curious as to how Kurisu and Watashi would interact, as well as her take on the fairies.
No, she does not enjoy violence.
I wouldn't want to see her in Muv-Luv, as that setting is pretty bleak. Though it is rather funny how much Mai and Meiya resemble one another (both are swordswomen with long blue ponytails and large breasts who are high-ranking members of the nobility).
I would rather see her in a more peaceful series as I would prefer she doesn't suffer. Perhaps something like Bamboo Blade? I think that with her skills she would do quite well in such a setting.
Not bad. A very underrated series. Love the fact that my waifu has quite a bit of crossover art with Watashi, since both are voiced by based Nakahara.
>Mai and Meiya resemble one another
Only outwardly, if I may say so. To be like Meiya, the girl must have the most important factor: YAMATO DAMASHII.
Do you wish she'd be playable in one of the actual BB games?
Macross. I imagine it to be the holy grail for an idol, even a virtual one, to appear in something that well-known, especially considering the circumstances.
Aria, she'd fit right in with the main cast. Not to mention an undine uniform would look absolutely stunning on her.
I wish to join her too, so she'd take me around for a gondola ride.
After which we'd just head to our comfy home together.
Never really thought about it, she doesn't fit in in many places. Maybe something light-hearted that would still accept her like Haiyore Nyaruko-san?
I'd say that Meiya and Mai have some similarities in their personalities as well. Both were raised in relative isolation and had difficulties interacting with others, though Mai adapted to it pretty fast. Both also have a very strong determination to protect those that they care for, though Mai tends to be more light-heated and easygoing outside of battle compared to Meiya. But yes, Mai isn't really Yamato Damashii as Japan no longer exists in her setting, and she normally uses western swords; though she does have a Japanese name.
PS: I think Mai will likely be in the next game. I would indeed like to see her in it.
During tank matches she's fairly trigger-happy, so I'd say yes, even if she has yet to taste that joy.
I'd like to see her as a gondolier in Aria, even though she has the worst possible personality for the job. It'd be nice to see a little bit of Akari's easygoingness infecting her.
While I believe that is the right word for it, I'd think variations would be made, while the originals will still be kept. Who knows what they'll do in the future.
How did I miss this one. She's a military woman, of course she'd love to blow shit up.
>Both also have a very strong determination to protect those that they care for
That could be said of Yui as well. Though for Meiya and Yui it can be extended to protecting their country. Shichi-sho-ho-koku comes to mind.
>Japan no longer exists in her setting, and she normally uses western swords; though she does have a Japanese name.
BB's demographics are so messed up sometimes.
You better main and kick ass as her then.
Noel player here, I suck bad at BureiBuru.
Kawashima was my favorite GuP, she makes for a good Jack of Spades.
Not exactly what I would call bright, but she won't be fucked with by Xeno scum at the very least.
I don't think Madoka does, but she's more than capable of tactical nukes at things.
This would be the most comfy thing. I like it.
You have my condolences, Cryskafriend.
Hidamari Sketch, hands down. I already easily imagine Madoka in Yuno's place, so it's not a hard stretch of my imagination.
Personally I'm a little puzzled by those that waifu characters that are relatively shallow, with little to no character development. What would you latch onto? I wouldn't be able to sustain my feelings if my waifu wasn't multifaceted and didn't develop emotionally.
Yes, protecting people they care for is a pretty common motivation for good warrior-type characters. Mai does put much greater emphasis on that than on fighting her country though (but her state has a totalitarian regime, so I'd argue that's a good thing).
I fear that you are mistaken.
No, as long as they had enough time to expose enough of their personalities.Aria I understand. Conflict isn't necessary, but some shows just never really go anywhere and the characters are completely flat. Hidamari Sketch and Aria are examples of shows with little to no conflict that have characters that I understand others falling in love with.
I know you don't choose your love, but I'd say anyone that's needlessly cruel and hateful. Not people that are just jerks sometimes, there's such a thing as lovable jerks. I mean the kind of people that go out of their way to make everyone miserable. I just can't understand that point of view.
It's not like they can help who they had fallen for - after all, I'm a firm believer of love at first sight. For example it could just be that they had "read between the lines", and see her in a much different light than an outsider.
But sometimes those characters have the most definition, just look at my Yunocchi. She's a very well developed and rather complex person, a lot of things happened to her over the years.
Although that wasn't the reason I fell in love with her, but I have to admit, the extra details are very helpful for my lacking imagination.
Even then, it's hard. I can even understand villains, because sometimes they can be charming, funny, or just plain cool, even if they do terrible things. Those characters that are all about suffering and don't even have a sympathetic viewpoint, I don't get. They're just cruel, through and through.
Yes, but it's still horrible writing so I don't really want it for her.
The great big dirty black and orange explosions maybe. Not so much flash and bang.
I think Magic Girl Banba would be really cute with giant hammer and all.
It's nice and rare to see someone who likes her the most (not that she's unpopular). Those cards are pretty cute, but Momo looks really high on hers.
I have to admit I feel a bit weird about mine from time to time because >>116873600 has a good point. Not knowing how she'd act in many everyday situations is depressing.
I want to kiss my waifu so badly.
It's sometimes hard for me to imagine how can someone actually fall in love with character that are not(or at least are not show to be) capable to live in husband-wife/boyfriend-girlfriend relationship without drastically changes her character, like Harime Nui or Asuka(No offense, I'm just saying that I don't understand it)
All I can say is that Miku does have personality for me. It just isn't canonically defined, but it also wasn't that I just came up with ideal personality for her. I've been just listening to songs and looking for fanarts and after some time I've started to prefer works that shows her as very shy, cute, childish and cheerful girl. My interpretation of her character was becoming clearer and clearer with time and then there was only one idea of Miku that was correct for me. And finally, in next half of a year she started to become more and more important to me, I've started to fantasize about her and us being together and she was so perfect for me that I really started to desire to be with her and marry her and have children with her etc, and then I've accepted her as my waifu.
So long as can keep her happy, she'll have a great future. The author said in an interview that the main guy ends up with someone else, anyway. =)
Explaining why would be spoilers for Higurashi Rei and Umineko, but she should totally be fine. Rest easy, anon.
it would be ideal if they got some other 5.56 guns and exported all the RK95s, i would pay a gross amount to own one, even a semi only.
thats the idea, i would like to buy one, but if it doesn't happen then i will have to fly to her hellhole of a country just to see her.
Only my fingers will be in her trigger guard.
that picture really gets me gong
Jormungand, Koko opens up a crate from Finland and Sako jumps out and molests her, Valmet comes into the room to protect Koko and Sako starts talking to Valmet in Finnish, fellow countrymen form an instant bond, they high five and tag team Koko.
She's an amazing and strong CPU candidate and girl, her future is so bright you gotta wear shades.
One of her abilities features something looking like an explosion, but I don't see her enjoying it too much.
I want to impregnate my waifu.
And have a cute daughter.
I don't really know. A cute SoL maybe.
There are no questionable waifus.
I think she will be just fine.
I personally don't limit the posters to just those /a/related. Of course, those unrelated to /a/ don't last because they're either not serious, or /v/ or /c/ and are shitposted into oblivion.
Oh, you mean like the thread from last night?
It's not quite the same as having the word "waifu" in OP, since anyone can just pass by and post a girl they just happen to like, not necessarily their waifu.
Change of topic, does your waifu have a special place? A place she feels safe or especially romantic to her?
In my arms.
Other than that, she's very attached to the Hidamari apartments, which is no wonder, she's made some very good friends there.
"So right now, the last thing I can offer you
No such thing.
Regardless of how or why one loves another, one cannot help but love that one girl he's compelled and enthralled by. Resistance is futile.
Well he can resist, but that path doesn't lead anywhere good.
Then I can only wish you luck on that endeavor, anon. I would help if I could, but I have no idea where to get one.
The small wooden pier back at the island she lived at. It was both a place of contemplation and for waiting, for a day that might've never come.
She also seems fond of rooftops, as she likes to watch the whole world go by.
It's a perfect private spot for confessions too.
And good night, waifu thread.
A bright future with me, of course.
I don't think she does.
Never stop believing anon.
Cryska a cute.
I've no idea.
I'd like it to be a High Fantasy so she doesn't feel too far away from home. Putting her in something modern or stuff like that would be way too sudden and she wouldn't fit in.
I don't think there are any. Everyone has their reasons to fall in love.
I do sometimes feel sad about my own waifu's lack of characterization, but "questionable"? No, not really.
Her little hut, maybe.
She's not the most romantic of people, though.
>missing the point this hard
Harry Potter is YA lit for the mass market. Too pleb for /lit/.
Imagine trying to start a Naruto thread prior to the whole ending announcement thing. That's what trying to seriously generate discussion about Harry Potter would be like on /lit/.
She does, and I'll be there for her every step of the way. Even at her worst I want to make sure that I help her up and running again.
To an extent yes! She's pretty much a power-idiot to an extent, and she doesn't really seem to care of anything around her except her allies or friends.
I want to be there for her when she's giving birth to our first child!
I'd love to see a sort of slice of life role given to her. While I admit I like her the way she is, I want to know more about her! And I just want her doing cute things and smiling.
I don't feel that one should question the love of another. It's ultimately up to the husband.
What counts as a bright future?
I mean, she grows up to be a pro model, and of course my lovely wife. I'd say that sounds like a pretty bright future.
I don't think so, no.
I'm not really sure, because I think she fits perfectly in her own franchise. I think she'd be really cute in a mahou shoujo anime, though.
Does your waifu have any bad habits, and/or any personal problems? And if so, would you help her get over them or leave them be?
She looks adorable making minimum wage though
Oh boy, she's extremely, extremely selfish. It's also impossible for her to socially interact with normal people and she prefers to simply eat them. It's all the more reason for me to love her though.
She can be a bit violent sometimes.
But regarding vices? No, I don't think so.
All alive, evidently.
Some people say she's manipulative.
I call her ambitious.
Don't all waifus go to Mexico for impregnation upon marriage? Isn't this a trial that all families must go through, only the strongest bonds and loyalty can survive the Mexican Menace?
Would your waifu leave you /a/? Would you leave her after being knocked up with a two-bean burrito?
The only bad "habit" or personal problem would be being way too kind or nice at times.
Would be amazing. So amazing. I'd probably
try to hold her hand without waking her up, give her a small kiss and then fall asleep too.
No real bad habits to speak of, and she's great at sorting out her personal problems too! But in any case, if she ever needs my help, she needn't even ask, and I'm there.
I already imagine her like that whenever we get in bed together! It's exactly the sort of thing she'd do.
Needless to say, a mental image like that can make it hard to fall asleep sometimes.
I'd like that or her whispering the elvish word for love or beloved.
Would be very heartwarming.
Good night /a/.
I'd pull her close and kiss her forehead then fall asleep with her in my arms
That's fucking cute, especially since she actually does talk in her sleep a little.
Mai was thrown out by her father who then sent assassins after her, because he thinks that if she can survive that then she'll be worthy to succeed him. Other than the obvious threat to her survival, the fact her own father did that to her did make it hard for Mai to open up herself and to trust others. (Thankfully she was able to regain the ability to trust people thanks to the unwavering support of her friends.)
Mexico doesn't exist in her setting, so she's safe.
I would say so. She is top of her class and is extremely intelligent.
The sense of power alone would be more than enjoyable to her. I can almost hear her maniacal laughter after she makes something explode.
All the waifus that don't have much content always bug me.
She probably feels the safest alone by herself...
Are you trying to give me a heart attack? I think I just melted reading your post.
She has a bad habit of biting her nails, being overly cold to those she doesn't know, and
pushing away the people closest to her. ;_;
Destroying with his bare hands is more his speed, but I could see him enjoying explosives as well.
I want to
play 2P Rhythm Doctorwith my husbando so badly! It's comfiest at night.
Can't say. Characters from JJBA are pretty unique, aren't they? A DD Hokuto no Ken equivalent of his series would be all I could ask for. That show was just way too cute. Seeing him trying to get along with any of the SoL characters from here would be pretty adorable as well!
You can't really apply logic to love, Anonymous. I'm not sure you entirely understand this whole business.
Also, if I may say so, sometimes I get just a little jealous of SoL waifus. Adventures and excitement are really fun, but domestic things are too!
He gets around quite a lot, so if he had one, I wouldn't know. It's his secret place, so I wouldn't bug him about it if I were aware about him having one.
Also, Yunobro beat me too it. Darnit.
If I could get to feel my husbando's huge body resting on top of mine and his head on my chest, looking up at me with sleepy eyes full of love, I feel like that would give me enough happiness to last a lifetime.
He's got a bit of a temper issue and there's the thing about his shadow. Honestly, it's part of his personality and natural reflexes. I wouldn't want him to struggle at being perfect just for me. (Though counting to ten every once in a while would help him massively, I'll bet.)
As far as helping my husbando goes, I'll probably be helping him with future shock more than anything. I bet we'd have a lot of memorable times that way.
Ooma at Aomori Prefecture. She keeps ranting about that place having the best tuna she's ever tasted.
It's a sensation I find myself waking up to quite frequently.
Her secretive nature. It's hard to read what she's thinking at times. Combine that with her tendency to push herself beyond her limits... It's wrong to try to intervene in something like that, but I can't help but worry about it.
She's probably a space ghost now
Nuifriend here. See, I don't really have a hard time seeing Nui in that situation. While she's pretty indifferent to most people she's still able to emotionally latch on to a few.
If anything, I don't think she really has any bad habits. She might be a little too competitive but who says that's a bad thing? I like her for who she is and that's really all I can say about that.
Possibly. Pic related.
It's not hard to set her off.
Califag here, it's not that late.
The ultimate test! Would you
eat out your waifu's asshole?
>would you help her get over them
No, why would i change the girl i'm in love with?
Maybe i would just tell her not to beat girls in public and refrain from lewdness around others, thats it.
>there are people who would not taste every part of their soulmates body
i feel offended that you need to even ask this.
you forgot the real question here OP
do YOU have a bright future?
Hello and goodnight, waifu thread! Decided to post anyway; hopefully this'll still be around when I get back tomorrow.
In the anime? Quite possibly. In the manga? Questionable at best; should the 'open' ending ever be properly wrapped up. Oh, who am I kidding? Even if it does, it probably won't end well for him anyway.
People and this gender nonsense. It's even worse with Crona sometimes. Just terrible, incredibly petty and equally irritating. You're not their lover, (i.e, in their pants) so what business is it of yours? Seriously. I feel the need to thoroughly soapbox this sometime.
Even if I hate my name.
I want to play Pokeno with my husbando.
This. Anything cute and happy will do.
He can be almost cripplingly shy/anxious at times. Had a 'neglected pet still loyal to abusive owner' sort of thing going on as well. Harbors more than a little semi-repressed trauma too. I would do anything and everything I can to help.
Ur mum. #rektReal talk, I guess the closest thing to a questionable waifu to me would be a background character with literally no lines or role in a story. But ultimately love is in the eye/heart of the beholder.
My grandma has this little fold-out table that sits at about that height. I used to eat breakfast off it while watching pbs. So probably, yeah.
But reminiscing about that makes me kinda sad, because my husbando never experienced cozy, fun little things like that growing up. To be his friend in those days - cue picturing hazy, nostalgic childhood moments with him. I can kinda see why folks find the 'childhood friends eventually becoming something more' route so appealing now. 2cute.
Mini-wheats and pbs, aw yeah.
Yes he does!
Jokes on you, I only have a small amount of mental damage, and she likes me either way.
She would like it a good bit.
We would cuddle and watch Mecha anime together.
We are all damaged in our own way.
You're right in that she wouldn't like me, though.
And if she was real, it's quite possible that I wouldn't like her, either. 3D is fundamentally flawed and incapable of a real connection like 2D can.
Joke's on you, my waifu shitposts on @channel.
>3D is fundamentally flawed and incapable of a real connection like 2D can
Anon, that's just straight up delusional.
As someone who's been trying to recently, try Fringechan or http://www.world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/
Also pic related.
Since I began reading into it this recent summer, I've had two semi-lucids, but I end up cockblocking myself. In one dream, I literally refused myself for some weird reason. I never get the extremely high-def imagery that a lot of people clamor about.
Before this, I only had 1 semi-lucid as a kid.
I think she does.
I already do that with my daki.
Too bad my name sounds shitty.
She scolds others a lot, lacks patience and sometimes has emotional outbursts. I'd like to help her take things a bit easier, nothing more.
Yes, she live in a happy SoL, she was brillant in highschool, and is now in college with her friends.
A future that i would protect and cherish
She don't, and she wouldn't. She don't like violence.
Another happy SoL, like Aria.
No questionable waifu.
Only questionable husbandos.
>Obvious crossboarding is a bad habit
When it's obvious yes, you just have to conceal it.
I won't go back to /n/ you filthy pedestrians
The music club room, but since she have graduated highschool, she can't return in it.
Otherwise it would be her home, or my arms.
Well, sometime her shyness can block her, she had difficulties to play in front of the highschool, but i'll be here to help her.
She turn crazy when she see leftist musical materials.
That basic stuff, dude.
Outside of my chinese cartoons and my waifu, I'm a complete normalfag with college and a part-time job. Checkmate atheist.
>We are all damaged in our own way.
>3D is fundamentally flawed and incapable of a real connection like 2D can.
I'm delusional enough to have a waifu, but not THAT delusional.
No joke. I'm not talking about sex.
https://www.vitamindcouncil.org/health-conditions/depression/ + cuddle her everyday, she must feel loved
