I stopped this episode nearly a dozen times just for screenshots.
I especially like how the Netero vs King fight worked out. I never expected the king to die to poison even though it's clearly a ripoff of/spin on fallout.

Well I just finished the 1st episode of the new arc. Hisoka showing up already is a good sign. Seems like 100 episodes without him.
Though I heard him talking to Illumi about visiting 'our father'. If that means what I think I really didn't see that one coming.
I haven't been hooked on a shounen since Soul Eater and I don't think I've marathoned anything like this in 2+ years.

I just finished this episode a few minutes ago, they did an absolutely amazing job adapting it just like with episode 118.

The only part I didn't like about CA arc was that they didn't make Gon's eyes appear as empty as they were in the manga. The direction was great all around, but I think this detail lessened the impact a bit.

Not on hand, but if you look back on the parts where he's sitting in the room while Pitou heals Komugi, his eyes are pretty much always drawn as pure black circles, whereas in the anime they either still retain the pupils (which aren't distinguishable in the manga in the first place), or the "shine".

I just flipped through a few chapters, his eyes sometimes have the shine and they sometimes don't. Same as the anime.
And considering that the manga doesn't portray the color of his irises at any point anyway, I think Madhouse did a pretty decent job. It was as faithful as possible while sticking to their design decisions.

I got that feeling from the last arc. I'm hoping it doesn't happen in the anime.
I'm also pretty curious to see how Gon fights (presumably) without nen.
So far I'm 3 eps into the next arc and damn that blond dude is a real ambitious cunt. I hope he gets his ass pounded good later on for his manipulative faggotry.
