Sure the qc has a reasonable amount of variance, but it seems like they all collectively suffer from the same issues with some being worse and more noticeable than others. In almost all cases i've seen so far there have been jagged edges on her hair (mostly the hair near her face), a lot of issues with the hair on the top of her head, a fair few people having issues with her crown and then paint transfer around her sleeve and stocking.

From what i've seen I'd consider mine to be one of the luckier ones, but I still feel pretty cheated with the end result considering I paid 10k.

There's no point in trying to touch up the figure yourself, you'll mostly likely do more harm than good, and even if you don't fuck it up more the amount you can improve it will be minimal. The only realistic way I could imagine touching her up would be if you used a scalpel to smoothen out the jagged edges on her hair.
Issues with her sleeve, pantsu, crown and stockings are lost causes.
