ITT: Post some of your favorite significant power-ups.
Me too. Maybe because he was able to develop it for practical usages (like the shield to make a bubble of clean air) and learned to control it more without going completely off the deep end (until the end I guess.)
Everything after this lost impact but Goku's big change against Freeza and Gohan's against Cell will always be dope.
Oh god. I meant to add that I'm waiting for him to go full demon mode here shortly and fuck all kinds of shit up.
Where the hell can I find DBZ to read online? Or download, whichever.
as much as i liked it, its pretty tame compared to the rest in this thread
Man, where the fuck do I grab Busou Renkin from?
I was getting it from
Manga Pandabecause it's the only one that works on my Android app, since I read it at work during break and before I start my shift, but they stopped at like chapter 25.
Probably in the final battle. Or the Danafor flashback before the final battle.
>not getting stuff from mangatraders
Yea, it didn't load for me. Man, why did it die? That's news to me too.
Not manga pages, but when Seras drinks Pips blood I got hype as fuck
>Hating on the Hellsing dub.
Man you can fuck right off right now. Hellsing dub is fuckin' great and you can give me a rimjob if you think otherwise.
Unless you can prove to me what makes it bad without falling back on M-MUH WAKAMOTO M-MUH NAKATA as your only arguments.
That man is my fucking role model.
I enjoy it more because they have the accents.
It really breaks the fuck out of my enjoyment when they go all "This guy's French, this guy's German, and this guy's a Brit!" and they all sound the same.
Gosh. No fuckin' telling now. A metric shitload at the minimum.
I also liked Musou Tensei.
It made all the earlier scenes where Ken said that his major enemies or allies that died would live on within him seem like they'd actually led up to that scene.
It also paid respect to his old enemies I thought, it showed that they were still remembered, their lives had been relevant, and that Kenshiro could only do the things he could do now because of them.
RyuseiSeikuken was something I liked. They built up to it pretty well, implemented it at the right moment, and it was satisfying to see it come into effect. The fact that it wasn't enough to start with the first time it was used, and that Shou found a way round it pretty quickly was nice too, as Kenichi had to think more and use it a second time to get it right.
It also complimented the ideas that the two characters were fighting over, so Kenichi didn't just win because he became stronger, he won because his ideals were right.
Plus it helped give insight into Shou and left him off as a sympathetic character.
Having said that, it was never quite as effective again, with for utility, or its function in the story, but it remained a neat move with a good visual.
i remember how hype i am when im reading this for the 1st time. seeing how negi got rekt almost every time he go against Fate before this. then i was like: "awww Fate you dun goofed now"
I liked the way it was designed. That's about it.
This was hype as fuck
even though he lost the next fight.
I like how this has terned in to a really good themed OPT
From here of course.
Its like you didnt lurk when MT went down and saw what anons did to replace it.
This hasn't been posted yet.
Shame on all of you. He fuckin saved the planet.
Not exactly a power-up but I do love this scene in Kenichi.
Not really a powerup, but cool never the less.
You know, I think I enjoyed all of Ichigo's power ups and advancements up to and including the first time his Hollow took control.
Didn't care for any of the ones that came after, though.
Not quite a power-up per se, but I did enjoy the difference between Guts first & second fights with Zodd.
>Not posting Lightning God Mode.
Soul Eater had the best final boss battle. At least ten chapters of fighting. Everyone getting wrecked. Everyone getting powerups. Except Black Star. He was like, running purely on egoism.
Kazu final battle was pretty damn great. Dude got a talent for fight scenes, can't say the same for the story.
You always know it's coming but it's always so good.
>ctrl f Psyren/Ageha
Oh looks like /a/ doesnt have bad taste after all
>ctrl f soul eater/black star
Come on you fuckers, the guy achieved godhood just like Saitama did
Damnit, OG had a gold mine on his hand, just needed to ask for someone else ppinion to tighten the plot and it could go for 800 chapof not only shounen battles but also the air gar challenges. That shit could be on naruto and op level of popularity
Single-handedly made the second half worth reading. I just wish it was the last fight. How was Kazu so based?
This right here. When Kaneki accepted his ghoul side, fuckin hype.
he had a pretty good reason to 'start thinking'
also he always made up moves in the go
also you're stupid as fuck read the fucking series before saying shit
I couldn't read this series, it's probably one of the only things I haven't read from FKMT. Hits too close to home, I feel like I'll develop an early midlife crisis reading it.
Of course, while Kid was the son of a god and was also part old one and Maka used her fear madness Blackstart made one from the ground up just to become a god out of pure unadultered hardheadedness
this one was sooo much better. When he rekt Hiryori and shut her up.
Black star has some sick power up, so did the entire Soul Eater manga. Kishin was a mad cunt.
oh god, yes. How could I have fogotten about Mob. Fuck, ONE is a shit writer sometimes, but hot damn, he can do a fucking cool powerup. This one was easily my favourite.
Sengoku Youko anime never
Spirit circle anime never
Biscuit hammer anime never
Yeah I found this stupid. Why didn't guy go seventh gate and defeat Pain, or any other main antagonist. He could land hits on Madara as 7th gate, they just weren't effective, so why not do it more regularly. It's not like 7th kills you... Bad writing imo, 8th gate was too powerful. Felt like poorly written fan service for a group more annoying than rukia plebs.
Also when he discovers he inherited the kung fu was pretty hype.
I remember Nardo's one tail transformation against the Sauce was the most insanely cool thing ever when I was a kid. That's still probably my favorite fight until Sasuke gets the lipstick powerup.
Sage made came kinda close except that he only used it to throw rasenshurikens
did... did that joke just go straight over your head?
Marika was a sickly bedridden loli. She then became a goddess that trolls gorillas and controls beings that live in the Chiba prefecture.
Proper anime adaptation never.
>A toothache was suppressing his limitless power.
>He now makes sure to brush three times a day.
This amuses me greatly.
You know, if he wanted a challenge he should just let his teeth rot.
I hope all other soul eater fans realize that this was the highest and greatest point in the manga, I almost feel They should of just ended the series after this page.
Its funny because while Blackstar is one of the protagonists he is the one with less screen time and yet manages to outshine the other two because every single fight he won was because of his own power, every power up was the result of him giving his best and then some, not some infectious space aids or god dads, naruto wishes he was like Blackstar, I'm not saying I don't like the other two, hell I love how by the end Maka was using music based attacks but Blackstar is the high point of the manga
>Its funny because while Zoro is one of the protagonists he is the one with good screen time and yet manages to outshine the other eight because every single fight he won was because of his own power, every power up was the result of him giving his best and then some, not some infectious space Bushiin or Demon dads, Blackstar wishes he was like Zoro, I'm not saying I don't like the other two, hell I love how by the end Blackstar was using DARKNESS based attacks but Zoro is the high point of the manga
I'm sorry I don't actually read One Piece, mostly because I just used to lump it together with Naruto and Bleach in terms of quality as one of the three eternal manga but some anons said it actually is nice but I'm partially scared since there are so many chapters, so so many chapters
He became a war god when that thing in the book of eibon tried to make him go crazy to show his true colors, it backfired because he made the madness of power for himself and became a god on the spot by raging hard enough
>Power Up General
Holy shit they're not even subtle anymore.
I really like at the end of the fight they just stopped using special powers and decided to fight with normal katanas and then proceed to cut the shit out of each other till the very end.
>mfw MC turns into black man
Was waiting for someone to post this
Girl in combat upgraded to happily married pregnant woman smiling while her husband tells her that he can feel the baby moving.
It was kickass, but he never asked for this.
I just started the warden's keep quest in origins and for some reason the beginning fight with the skeletons is REALLY easy, they are obviously much lowe than my party level. Is this normal? I thought the game had level scaling....
This whole battle was just moment after moment of "holy shit"
Really? I don't remember much about what the antagonist could do besides the tree thing but they were fighting against Ouroboros at the end.
Air Gear was a strange journey.
>came out of nowhere
He mentioned once or twice before that he "had a new power he wanted to try out".
>had to think about his powers which never happened before or after
He utilized his rubber body for all sorts of shit in the past alone.
Read the series before forming an opinion.
Bretty gud. One big aspect I liked was that
MC actually gets his girl at the end.
