Always kind of wondered what Milfy and Apricot's relationship is like. Apricot adores Milfy, but does Milfy look after her quite often, or are they simply just close? There's also an age gap of 7 years, which is actually kinda huge.

A combination of fatigue from the second game of going through every single girls' story instead of just the girl I picked (and the Coco-bullying segment. That was a little hard to read through), watching the art quality drop in the third game when the original cast came back, and hearing that the ending gets basically hijacked by what's-his-name instead of, you know, being about Kazuya and his girl.

The story structure was kind of baffling for the second game, since this was something that Moonlit Lovers did quite well in avoiding, keeping it at a simple structure of having an episode of the relationship development between you and the girl before moving on to the main collective plot. This actually encourages multiple playthroughs for each girl, not like what the second game did.

Fair points and exactly what my gripes were about those. I guess you were like me and went through all the routes before moving on to the next game.

If anything, the final game fixes the issue of the structure after the first playthrough. In the appendix section you get replay any chapter excluding the final one while being able to choose which girl you ended up with as well as Tact's so you can pretty much bypass the other 7 chapters dedicated to developing the girls which by that point, you've already heard it all.

I sort of liked putting less emphasis on the power of love conquering all and having legitimate sacrifices being made

As much as I appreciate a little bromance between Kazuya and a second male lead (except there wasn't much of that), I played Galaxy Angel under the mindset of being able to, you know, court one of the girls. Which is nice about the original series is you basically do just that.

I guess they were trying to go for a wider appeal with the second series of games? If the originals is set in high school, then the sequel is pretty much middle school in comparison.

Had a light conversation with a GAII anon who feels reluctant playing the final game.

I'm playing through it a second time fully and I'm seeing as less of a drag to sit through

What kind of sorcery is this?

Before I leave indefinitely for the next few hours I'll advocate the final game a bit.

All Rune Angels are given an entire chapter in explaining their backgrounds and origins. Crew interactions in free segments are considerably funnier imo as well. The original crew also return for a good amount of time.

Once again like MK, route differences are minimal save for the route conflict and closing chapter. The last three however are quite possibly the most impressive thing I experienced in the series.
