I use a combination of both. I used to use purely RSS but it got a bit too cumbersome and the feeds all died. I usually just follow the groups I look out for most these days. I'm just saying it's not really any less practical.

I still don't know why people think the community is so awful in the first place. Granted I don't visit the rest of the site at all, but it's way less cancerous than most other places. They even have reasonable suggestions sometimes. The only thing of note is the notable proportion of females and yaoi releases, but there's just as many scanlators of that stuff in the first place.

The guy who runs archive.moe should archive it for posterity when it comes up.
