The sequel VN, set 5 years after the original, which is going to be released at the start of 2015.
Get ready for the inevitable anime adaptation.
Translation: Makise Kurisu cut her hair and is now NTRing Okabe with niggers back in America.
how do you know they planned 4 and how do you know they were produced with IBM collaboration? IBM has nothing to gain with it, especially when that channel isn't even official I think
Pretty much the reason why I don't expect much from the sequel, I mean come on, they already admitted that they loved each other, they already kissed plenty of times, both had to go through so much already for one another and they are still "just friends" even after 5 years
I thought the movie was the best part of the whole series
I didn't know I wanted this
They are in a long distant relationship but it says it's not working out
when i looked at the thumbnail i thought she was wearing a skirt....
>Steiner subs it
>IBM released the official subs anyway
What are you talking about? Finally some anime with mature characters in it! I actually kinda liked how even in original half the characters were already in university. It helped the atmosphere, in my opinion, what with it being connected with scientific theories.
And 21 years old isn't old at all. It isn't even much older than 16 or 18. Well, unless you're into loli, and there were no loli in S;G anyway. People live until 60-80 years. If she was 55 years old, I would kinda understand you... But yet, Joseph Joestar is awesome at any age, so even that is not a constant.
In two words, it actually looks kinda interesting... despite being a direct sequel to the game with pretty much ideal ending. I sure hope they can manage to make the ending at least not terrible. The original ending was just too beautiful. And most of the bad ones too, to be honest. I really liked how they somehow managed to give a beautiful and seemingly perfect normal ending... and then build up on it to somehow even better ending. The pacing at the end was near ideal too.
I'm really scared that they will make it moot in the sequel if they're not careful.
It's not about their age, it's the fact that the characters look way too different for being set only 5 years in the future. The whole art directions seems to be different.
Plus, it's only going to be an LN, and nobody in their right mind bothers with LNs.
I wouldn't mind seeing an S2 for Steins;Gate where they simply adapt other routes.
that's what people without a gf would say
This is the choice of the author.
No fucking happiness for anyone. This resetting of their relationship at the beginning of every sequel really fucking bugs me.
is good for that boy pussy that is actually a girl pussy doe
Faris is aight
but it feels really hollow and ronery.
a huge cliffhanger so I'd be pissed if they didn't expand on it
Mayuri 2 sad for me
kurisu 2 sad
STEINS;GATE SECOND SEASON: SUZUHA ROUTE
SUZUHA AND OKABE FINDS THEMSELVES IN BERLIN, 1943, AND NOW THEY HAVE TO TRAVEL THROUGH A WARTORN EUROPE TO REACH JAPAN AND TURN EVERYTHING STRAIGHT AGAIN
Oh, you're right. Only noticed it.
I stand corrected, apparently.
Well... I dunno, I kinda like the new art direction, actually. But it could be just me.
Now the stuff about Okarin and Kurisu's relationship stagnating... That is alarming. Wasn't the entire point of the ending that Okarin
wasted god-know-how-many years of his life purely on saving Kurisu, and only that allows him to finally trick out time? I mean, seriously, he wastes years building a goddamn time machine purely for herbut yet they're not happy together after all the effort? If it turns out to be anything other than an effect of physical distance between them and they don't jump to being cute right after they meet again, then this sequel already made one bad choice. I think at this point it would be better to just show their actual daily life; I don't know what more can they struggle through for their love. Nothing beats what has already been defeated.
Though the idea that Okarin tried to make his own company but is struggling at the moment seems like it has potential. That is, if at the end his company finally starts to turn up a profit.
I never got that, to be honest. Can't he just
befriend them again? There is literally nothing stopping him. Seriously, he knows all the names and he probably knows where their houses are, he can think of something to break the ice; only Suzuha and Kurisu are left out, and you can probably still think of something with Kurisu. And yet, it's supposed to be sad for some reason.
Gotta leave but here's a very rough draft
>It seems the author will not be the original scenario author Hayashi Naotaka, but instead it will be written by Miwa Choushiro.
A-a-a-a-and here go my hopes for the LN. Not even an original author.
Though on the other hand the original author did make Chaos;Head and Robotics;Notes too... And he will oversee it, whatever that means... But still.
Apparently the new writer already has some manga published. Babelonica Trial and Progress Eve: Ange Chronicle Side:Black. Did anybody read it? Is it any good?
To be fair, that would be one thing I would be looking forward too. The writer has only one task: make her as cute and innocent as possible, with no twist to it. Anybody who read the VN would feel the emotional turmoil regardless.
They happened on some lucky character. They literally need to do nothing at all with the character, and it would still be good storytelling.
oversee it probably means he will be helping the author deciding on how the story will progress and such, and probably won't let the author do retarded shit that would ruin SG reputation
That's the problem, they are going to prevent writers to change anything and they maintain status quo. Some middle management turd is probably the reason for delay. Milking never ends.
Kurisu will never wake you up in the morning.
Why even live?
