I don't know why but I really love the ramen episode.

It's too hard for me to narrow it down to just three. There were a ton of episodes I loved especially in the second season. The finale and the planet loli episode are near the top though.

I don't know but my favorite is probably the dimensions episode.

Space Dandy as a whole was a 6~7, some 10/10 episodes but others were just ok or bland.

Honestly I think Space Dandy was somewhat of a masterpiece.

Sure it was episodiac a la Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. However, the diversity in the animation, colors, backgrounds, music, settings, tones, and ambiance of each episode was incredibly unique.

Space surfing scene was good, alien design is alright, but undies vs vest was just ok as an episode overall, at best.

Maybe it was a very subtle mickey vs donald satire along with the anti war theme, but it wasn't a stand out episode.

Though I might be mixing the better parts of the fish episode with the fishing one. It's kind of interesting to think about the old episodes, I could distinctly remember most of them and feel like I could probably list them off but when thinking about it it felt like they each had a lot of flaws.

The ones I disliked the most were probably the undies/vest, musical and dog/fleas episodes. The trial episode was also probably one of my least favourites as well but at least that was just a bland load of nothing as opposed to the others which I actively disliked.

I agree with you about Dog/Fleas though. And everyone hates The War of the Undies and the Vesties, Baby. Even as a setup for surfing Dandy, it was just bad.

I understood what the musical episode was parodying/sort of celebrating in a way but I dislike that kind of thing so it's more that I had a problem with the concept rather than the execution. Looking through the thread it's pretty interesting how everyone's top three is pretty varied, they did a good job making at least a handful of episodes that everyone could enjoy.

Also I did like the death episode. I thought that Dandy's comedy was pretty ordinary throughout and it generally worked better with weird alien shit and that episode was the epitome of that. Might put that over the finale episode but I fucking loved that one moment when Dandy's clothes fly off combined with the music. It just sticks in my mind as being absolutely perfect.

I kind of liked that they weren't just fighting because of their clothing preferences, but had been fighting for so long that it was all they really had to on.

Them killing themselves and being unable to murder the other with their hyped-up bombs was also an oddly tragic touch.
