Why is the manager so attractive?
Because hair over the eye is hot.
Donuts? That completely changes the dynamics.
I want to fuck Aoi.
>movie about making movies
I wonder what the actors where thinking when they were making this.
Why is the Director such a little bitch?
The only likeable thing about Taro.
like a boss
Oi-chan is off the fucking rails.
Damn, she's so fine.
If you can't beat her in a race, you don't deserve her.
I want more of her.
Maybe it's a common theme among directors?
Awww... I want to see this every evening. Truly, the best girl.
When does he and Segawa fuck?
He tried and failed. Probably second cour.
Damn Yano-chan is lovely.
Same shit, different day.
I thought Taro would be a likeable idiot, but this episode confirm that he's just a plain idiot.
So far it's pretty interesting for me, it taught me some things I don't know about animation in Japan. In latest episode especially in how directors can be a bitch sometimes.
Interesting if you like behind the scene stuff and if you want to see how much work goes into making an anime you will most likely call shit and insult people on the internet for liking it
I bet they're going to have Sugie carry the animation later on.
They'll end up fucking for sure.
Seriously, fuck this guy. He fucks up episode 3, then talks shit about Aoi even though she helped un-fuck it up, and then he acts like he fucking did anything.
I think it's a great show so far, both interesting for the look into the production of our Chinese cartoons and entertaining in comedic moments, references, nods to the audience and well handled conflicts. It's managed to make me care about the fate of the characters with two episodes and that's saying something given most shows you couldn't give two fucks.
You said what?
Could you please make a list of what the subs say and what they actually are.
I was noticing a tonne of redundant roles.
I've been interested in what goes on behind the scenes ever since I watched this series of videos.
If you each the 4 videos to the end the end result is ultimately just a glimpse (a very, very tiny one) of what anime is all about.
You wouldn't dare refuse such a face, would you?
Oh that's it? Much simpler than I thought. One thing though. Neither Ema nor the old man are animating exodus right? And Bowlcut and tits are working as key animators because they couldn't find any replacement, is that right?
What's that thing on the dashboard and where do I buy one?
Red is so homely.
Small town girl trying to make it big type.
Sweet I'll probably buy one as novelty before paranoia of it becoming a projectile in crash makes me keep it in the glove box.
>We will see MC and the other grunt work girls slowly improve their skills and move on up in the industry with more and more responsibility and success.
>At the same time, we will see Red strike out at auditions, fail to leave her dead end jobs, and never perform more than minor bit roles in shitty LN adaptations as she moves back home and gets married off by her family to some salaryman.
Being red is suffering.
Implying Zuka-chan won't get the key role in pic related.
Just you watch, mate.
One's a writer and the other works in 3DCG.
Rinko's design is fucking perfect.
That continual wave, she's so friendly.
Would still pressure into sex.
I'm quite aware of gainax bounce but it's not sufficient to be a reference they are not the only studio ever to place focus on jiggling breasts. Nobody else picked up on this reference because quite simply it isn't one.
You are a wise man, I'll spend that money on donuts instead.
Hah! 2 weeks in and I haven't bought any donuts yet. You won't get me that easily.
She should try the superior German version.
Having worked on a collaborative creative project, this shit hits fucking close to home. It's just fantastic.
The one anime of the season with real human problems and down to earth, normal everyday drama that everyone can relate to, and you hate it because it has those things? Why watch TV at all? The whole foundation of drama is conflict.
best Christmas cake
The director wants to completely rewrite one of the main characters halfway through the show. And he justifies this by saying that it's totally normal and part of the creative process to do this.
You zero in on your story and characters and solidify things BEFORE you start production. This dumb cunt director is the reason so many shows derail and flounder every season.
Hollywood is currently plagued with shitheads like this guy. They will start filming a movie before the script is even halfway done, because the producers liked the idea that fit on the back of a napkin.
It was such a weaker episode then episode 1 because of the director. The series concept is a nice idea though, but for those ACTUALLY interested about how studies work, many resources already exist.
What did it mean she's 17 and 29 years old?
She's 29 years old masquerading as a 17 year old?
He's literally just some fat fuck who gets a huge boner over moe, like a lot of people here, but seems to possess no talent and infact detrimental to studio since he's costing them time on an already tight deadline. I hope the series progresses with him getting fired or having some kind of consequence. He even ruined there debut anime which had it's shame immortalized in a meme.
What are you talking about? The animation director character is saying the exact same thing INSIDE the show. My opinion is empathizing with his. How am I derailing the thread?
Also I'm not the same anon that posted the second post you are referencing.
Oh, that kind of transformation.
One we're two different people. So it would be proper to refer to us as autistic idiots. Thank you.
Secondly, we're talking about the anime and discussing a certain character. Your whining is more likely going to derail the thread then anything else, that is unless your baiting and you're actually trying to derail it.
Either that's just some low tier shitposting or there is some projection right here.
Yes. It doesn't change the fact that they should have agreed on their characters' bios and cemented them before production began. The fact that the director's idea turned out to be a genuinely good one that will probably enhance Exodus a lot doesn't change the fact that he's a dumbass and an asshole for doing this 8 episodes into production at a major turning point in the story, rather than before production even began. He already ruined one show at the last minute, he should have learned his lesson.
-2/10 Lowest grade bait I've ever seen.
mono no aware
Dude, why are you so butthurt over people criticizing the director? Is he your waifu?
You should be fucking glad that Shirobako is interesting enough to get people with similar experiences to engage in serious relevant discussion about it, instead of just Muh donuts.
The greatest thing about such autistic people is, if you accept that the nonsense is their real opinion and not just shitposting, that they think they must share and repeat their opinion all the time.
Who cares when you're just calling out bait? I wanted to use this one but couldn't find it right away.
The real boss.
>what is damage control
If you actually try to have a discussion with baiters/shitposters they will take you for a loop. Everyone's seen it happen, and it could go on for hours.
If you like wasting your time go ahead though.
I've had that idea but instead of next season, they could do preparatory work under the right conditions and have an anime air along with it's animeception counterpart like Shirobako.
What would be even better is if the series was actually good. Since even in Shirobako the anime they're making in it is pretty low quality and generic because I guess they don't want it to overshadow the main show or something.
It happens, but sometimes they're just newfags or people who didn't really click with the board culture, so taking 5 minutes to explain it doesn't hurt, even with the chance that they're another baiter. It's low risk, high reward. If they're newfags it can potentially improve the board even a little, if not then you don't really lose anything out of it.
All they would have to do is have a documentary filmer follow people in the studio around with a camera while they make a series, and then just edit it together into a sensible drama, then animate it. They wouldn't even have to make shit up. Things get crazy in anime studios if the BD commentary from the Japanese staff and actors are any indicator.
This is the person who replied to me
The person below this sentence replying to him is not me
Just clearing that up for you, since I was done replying to him when he went full retard.
This is how harems are decided, Whoever the director likes best wins the MC.
Some fucked up shit.
>All they would have to do is have a documentary filmer follow people in the studio around
only if they edit everyone into cute 2D girls, there's already a Trigger documentary about making LWA
>PV showed stuff from at least the first three episodes
