Is SHAFT the only studio to do this sort of thing? Any time I see a thread comparing TV/BD it's always a SHAFT show. It's like they don't give a shit for the TV version, only the BD version because that's where their money comes from.
most studios do fixes on the BDs
shaft do ＦＩＸＥＳ on theirs
Most studios only add uncensored things in the BD, I know that 8bit fixes a lot of quality
It is, I also did it, It's from Vol 1
This whole time I thought it was a 3D thread. Which btw is working for....>>115012104
and especially for>>115012218
People focus on SHAFT ones because the comparisons are often pictures of girls.
Almost every TV anime undergoes some level of touching up for it's finished release. Sometimes it's minor and/or hardly noticeable things, sometimes it's repairs of rushed or outsourced things.
When they're not busy not having things on time, they must be bored as fuck.
Trigger made some bizarre choices in the editing they did for the BD version of KLK, but that pic you linked is one of the best ones.
fuck that wasn't suppose to be spoiler
Why doe this background character look so
This is actually quite brilliant. In the original, they were obviously going for the idea that the bars symbolism the concept a isolated space. Chitoge is lonely and therefore in her own isolated space, locking up her feelings from others around her. In contrast, the other people in the scene are with a friend, either completely bearing their feelings and breaking out of this isolated space (the girls on the bottom right/left on the bottom right), creating their own isolated space containing both of them (the guys on the top right) or a conflict between the isolated space and their desire to break free (the guys on the top left).
We also different sizes of bars, showing the different layers of emotion. Each set of bars symbolizes one layer in our isolated space, and Chitoge has many bars surrounding her, which means she is a complex and deep individual.
Now, focusing on the BD change: it is amplifying these points to give another one. The ground being the repetition of bars symbolizes how EVERYONE hides their feelings, and one can never truly break out of their isolated space. The different shades of colours is a representation of the emotional conflict within one self, and the shapes are the memories that were influenced by these emotions. The fact that everyone is a silhouette is a result of this -- we are looking inside them, all with their emotional conflict and memories, and in the TV release we were looking at their exterior, giving the false illusion that some of them were free from the isolated space that we all use to hide our inner feelings.
Thanks sir, you're a great english teacher. I'll be sure to include it in my essay.
Yeah! fuck you Jimmy for always blocking the MC's
Man this show had a fuckton of QUALITY more than I thought, and I already thought it was bad
I dig it.
I have so many good Nisekoi pics. Makes me happy another season is coming, this show is fun regardless of it's stupidity.
I think this is my favourite song that resulted from the Nisek oi bowl.
Also, what the fuck is "Recover Decoration" supposed to mean?
They're called Inu Curry, fagotron.
Between coming up with the cake song (or at least the lyrics to it) and animating the Clara Dolls in Rebellion, they have continued to prove to be da bess.
they will skip things judging from the OVAs
I don't think so, and that reminds me, those parts should not have been done the way they were did.
They pretty much cut out the cutest, saddest, and DEEPest parts along with a couple important details by regulating those parts to short power point presentations at the ends.
No duh. It has nothing to do with my question.
Why do they do anything?
Why do you assume that every change has to be an explicit fix, or every attempt at fixing actually yields a universally positive result?
Just like S1, they'll only be skipping Gumi stuff. The OVAs are them just doing some standalone stuff they can do whenever.
The manga's not ending anytime soon, so season 2 will come and go and it will continue.
Also, we now know the result of Gorilla vs Corcodile.

REMOVE IRRELEVANT BACKGROUND
ALL FOCUS GOES TO BEST GIRL
Shinbo was sick that day so Kubo helped with the redraws.
Because she is.
Tsugumifags are way too loud. If there were actually the number of Tsugumifags that claim she's the best girl, she wouldn't be sitting at number 5 in character polls.
That means our love for her is the greatest one.
calm the fuck down m8, were not in school
Because Soap Bubbles! Everybody loves Soap Bubbles!
>they'll only be skipping Gumi stuff
I hate this world.
being a Gumi fag is suffering
>people still watch SHAFT shows before BD releases
No. Just read the chapters of your favorite girl: >>115017984
Depends. I didn't watch it, is this supposed to be the sun? Because if it is, they made the shadows worse, they imply the source of light is really close to them by having their shadows deviate so much.
I started reading it a few hours ago.
I'm like 20 chapters deep and the cast is fucking great. Expressions, personalities, their priorites, everything is gold. The only thing that seems a little bullshit is the whole key and lock thing.
Seeing as how multiple girls have keys and no one seems to remember what they did 10 fucking years ago it's feels more contrived than normal cliches
It's a worth the read so far
SHAFT is known for retarded changes. Half of the changes are actual improvements, the other half is making it worse and often ruining perfectly fine shots. I remember some comparison (some Monogatari, IIRC) where they changed stuff like putting a light reflection on a girl's school uniform, making it look as if it's made of latex or something. It's some kind of trolling, I guess, giving the fans two versions that are half bad each. I wonder if some hardcore fans cut the episodes up and make their own edit, using only the good parts.
It's a filler Marika-Chitoge chapter.
Or maybe we're all a bunch of posers and we don't notice this shit in the TV airing because ultimately we don't care.
It's good that these companies fix their shit anyway, it's appreciated.
