That's incorrect, the purpose of her being away was so that she could give birth to a proper heir. She had to be forcefully converted into a Matou, but Zouken had no hopes for her in this war. All of his hopes were on what she gives birth to, and molding that into his perfect killer.

She was the test product that went through some shit to be molded, and thus was a bit out of tune, while the real one he makes was the one he was going for. This out of tune nature though gave birth to a real monster in one route. There's a reason he didn't bother getting involved in two routes of the game, since he had no hope for it.

Gil is no longer a servant after Zero since the Grail gave him real flesh and bones, making him just another person on anyone's radar. It's got far more power, far more range, and it does still have the attribute of "Will hit" but not "Will hit the heart".

Some think "Why even do we need Striking Death when we have Heart Piercing?", but sometimes you just need to bomb the hell out of someone when stabbing them doesn't work. It's Striking Death which supposedly can kill Herc completely? Although Heart Pierce might do it as well, since it takes away all your HP if it hits dead on, depending on they interpret it.

For someone who has 100HP, it will take at least 100HP away. For someone with 1,000,000HP, it'll take at least 1,000,000HP away if it hits dead on. The power of the curse is that it takes away the full amount of your HP away and makes it impossible to heal if it hits dead on. If it's not dead on, it can be healed from however. Lancer can use Runes to raise his attack power to A rank so Gae Bolg can Pierce according to Nasu, and it's stated that no matter how small the chances, he can beat Hercules entirely somehow.

It's possible that Hercules HP is listed all together, which is why you can kill him multiple times with the same hit if you manage to go over A rank. Although the other option is that an Anti-Army or something above Anti-Personal NP is needed, to take out multiple lives at once.
