Who is the best Sidonia, and why is Captain Kobayashi?
I guess that the Hiroki bowl still rages on
no seriously, what the fuck is up with this /ss/? is niehei just incapable of writing romance, and just pushes fanservice for every -fag now? like, next will be izana, etc.
the whole development was starkly realistic, unlike your typical shitty anime romance though, i gotta admit. which makes me rage even more.
smoogy a best girl.
me being buttblasted has nothing to to with the subject.
namely, what the fuck is nihei doing with the plot? is this supposed to be some kind of "innocence lost" after shiraui tsumugi's dream?
The Schutzstaffel (German pronunciation: [ˈʃʊtsˌʃtafəl] ( listen), translated to Protection Squadron or defence corps, abbreviated SS—or Runic "ᛋᛋ" with stylized "Armanen" sig runes) was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party (NSDAP). It began at the end of 1920 as a small, permanent guard unit known as the "Saal-Schutz" (Hall-Protection) made up of NSDAP volunteers to provide security for Nazi Party meetings in Munich. Later, in 1925, Heinrich Himmler joined the unit, which had by then been reformed and renamed the "Schutz-Staffel". Under Himmler's leadership (1929–45), it grew from a small paramilitary formation to one of the largest and most powerful organizations in the Third Reich. Built upon the Nazi ideology, the SS under Himmler's command was responsible for many of the crimes against humanity during World War II (1939–45). The SS, along with the Nazi Party, was declared a criminal organization by the International Military Tribunal, and banned in Germany after 1945.

Oh, you're just a troll.
Here, have this for your efforts.
No. Just no. You are wrong. 7chan for example has had a /ss/ straight shota board for at least 4 or 5 years now. (if that place even still exists... I stopped using it a long time ago).

I don't understand how one can be so confident in their ignorance, so steadfastly determined.
op has impeccable taste
kobayashi best sidonia
To get back on track this chapter was fucking great. Kobayashi is so fucking sexy and lonely and delicious. All the Izana x Tanikaze hinting and seeming relationship development had me admittedly a bit upset at the Shiraui Tsumugi's Dream chapter, and speculating that the whole thing was in fact a dream, but now it's as though my cherry has been broken and instead of being butthurt by this I thoroughly enjoyed the realism of it and appreciate how great Captain is.
I would totally never refuse her if I were Tanikaze. Even though I do personally have a soft spot for Izana, I am almost at the point where the more she suffers, the more I like her.
I wonder how Tsumugi will react if she comes back to Sidonia to find Nagate shacked up with Cpt. Kobatashi in her little love nest there.
ok, guys. guys! you fucking assholes, get back on rails: >>114382789
dude, the only girl i loved sailed off to america with a fucking TURK, 10 years ago. do you honestly, reeeeeally think that i care about what's happening in gook cartoons?
Smoogy is so cute! What are you talking about?
Yeah, you tell that faggot! It's a good thing for you there's not a publicly available tool that completely destroys your point.
>I'm pretty sure it started to become common in 2013 or something on /a/
Except you can look at the archive and see that it used commonly back in 2008 - these aren't rare, isolated occurrences. If the archives went further back than that, you'd see it even earlier.
Here's a tip, a fact doesn't start with "I'm pretty sure". That post is only a fact if we limit the scope of knowledge to things that have no basis in reality.
>speculating that the whole thing was in fact a dream
It is not. Still, it may or may not be what you are believing it is.
>stoic, strong older woman breaks down and displays her emotional vulnerability to a younger man
I've waited so long.
see "my half-assed archive searching has found /a/ referencing /ss/ on average a few times a week six fucking years ago".
You have to sift through all of the references to Soul Society and SS-Eclipse though
Your move, fgt
Oh I have given up on my hopes of it being a dream. It still might have been some other kind of sympathy date or something, or awkward expression of devoted friendship, but I doubt it. Despite my confused and grossed out reaction to it I have accepted that it seems to be genuine.
Still, the Kobayashi seduction kind of felt like sweet revenge for all the Tsumugifag gloating.
At this point I think that probably Izana's feelings for Tanikaze are doomed to be a one way street, but as has been demonstrated over and over again, one never knows with Nihei.
Shipping is stupid and, especially in a series like this, can only result in butthurt. So I'll just be hanging on and enjoying the ride on Nihei's train of space horrors.
Dat Kobayashi doe. Her loneliness and vulnerability contrasted with her immortality and position of extreme power and authority just make her so much sexier, on top of her being objectively physically attractive. I'm jealous of Tanikaze.

I still want to see how Izana ends up winning the Nagatebowl like it has supposed to, but now there is the new target to awkwardly pout at.
And yeah, the Iron Lady abusing her power for sex is absolutely sexy.
I don't think Yuhata has a chance at winning the Nagateb owl, but she's my favourite by far.
She's easily the most interesting female character in the series, followed by Kobayashi and Benisuzume.
I find all of the female (and third gender) characters to be pretty interesting in their own ways. Even the mass-production model Honokas.
I like Yuhata as well, but I'm curious what you find to be most interesting about her character?
I feel like she definitely has gotten a lot of development, but it's been subtle in some ways.
She will abuse her new-found political power for sex, just like her mentor.
If you mean clean as in without the text and barcode I wish I could help you. I saved it in a Sidonia thread somewhat recently, from while the anime was still airing I believe. It's the only version I have.
I love her character development. She went from some girl who did bitchy things to try to keep Nagate to herself, to the commander aide who was at first overwhelmed by the position but eventually controlled the position, and now the she's the vice-commander who's led Sidonia to a few victories and who's shown she can manage the crew almost as well as Kobayashi, whilst being a lot younger.
I also like that she's started to become her own character, rather than being dependent of Nagate to being relevant, which is the impression I get from girls like Izana and Tsumugi (both of whom I like as well, but nowhere nearly as much as the aforementioned ones).
Posting some more honokas though.
I agree with all of that. Love how she's risen to the challenge of responsibility and matured emotionally.
What do you think about the possible hinting at yuri-feelings for Izana? Put any stock in that or do you think there's another interpretation there?
Come on man. Are the pilot suits not enough to fuel your weird stink-fetish? Does Captain Kobayashi have to have a smelly mask, too?
Fine. It's totally ripe with the foul-smelling accumulation of 700-years of congealed saliva and morning breath. Are you happy?
I loved it when she appeared on the cover of the new volume before her introduction. It was a mixture of "wait who the fuck is that" and "I'm okay with this".
She definitely is least interesting, least developed of the female main cast. I'm not sure she can even be called main cast. She is cute, but I have to agree. Worst girl.
Still, worst girl is not that bad in this series.
>can't handle the tsun
Doesn't she supposes to be the character with an opposite stance to Nagate and pals so she can be the new foil to them when Yuhata has dropped that role?
Now she is doing nothing to the story.
What role will Yuhata drop? I doubt Nihei will take her out of the story given how much he's developed her.
She's easily the female character with the most development.
Anyhow, Teruru is just a bridge bunny, and in terms of behaviour, she's just a child.
Yeah but that only last until they got back to Sidonia. Storywise there doesn't seem to have been any real reason for her to end up permanent member of the cast since it seems like her arch was already resolved.
Sure. Sometimes I bet it sticks to her face and makes a sort of "schluuuueeerrrrp" sound when she takes it off, like peeling off a bandaid. And if she's been wearing it all day its removal probably makes the whole room smell for a while.
She is still in there, but has been less of a jerk to Izana and less clingy to Nagate. Teruru supposes to be the new jerk of the family, which she still is when we last saw her speoke.
Depends on taste. If you're into tits, Oppai Science had some large caliber weapons. The Honokas do occupy a nice sort of middle ground of tit-size with the added bonus of big round firm asses though, so you may just be right.
Most of the girls Nihei draws have pretty slamming bodies though.
When has Teruru been a jerk to Izana? She only treated Nagate poorly, and that was due to the people that created her.
She's been acting nice for a long time, and as I said, behaviour-wise, she's a child.
>Oppai Science had some large caliber weapons
Well whoever she is, with a butt like that she must be best girl.
It is pretty great, anon.
Also more Honoka.
They did get pretty big. Can't find an official shot but here's a conceptual rendering.
"Congratulations Tanikaze Nagate you are the highest ranked pilot for the fourth time this month," said the captain, "and now here is your free Honoka sister."
The captain made a motion and a young maiden entered the room. The girl ranged herself next to Nagate, who blinked repeatedly.
"Say what?" managed the boy.
"Your complimentary award," said the Captain, "we started giving them out since we have too many of them laying around. Just take her."
Tanikaze walked back home awkwardly and his pink haired prize followed him without a word. When the boy was laying in bed and the girl stood on standby in his bedroom, he finally accepted that he wasn't going to wake up from this dream. For the first time he addressed the Honoka sister, who listed like a dutiful spouse.
"So, uh, do you wanna, do anything?" said the boy.
"I will do anything you want," said the Honoka.
The boy's eyes brightened.
"Can you make food?" he asked.
It shows that she is lonely. In Japan people don't drink alone. Sake must be pourred by someone with you. But in this pic she is pouring herself. Which is called "手酌Tejaku" and considered sad.
It was clearly stated that her first name is "the school nurse"
It's lost in time.
Just like the first name of this guy.
It would get old.
And not in a good way.
Anime gave away those pouts way too many. She has more ways to express her suffering.
>latest chapter tsumugifags BTFO
>Disscusion is back to normal
Is this retribution?
It was hinted really early that she was very lonely, the council jumped on her with questions about why she wanted to have the "lobotomized" clone of Ochiai as a personal servant, basically it was her desire to keep her last friend who does not hate her.
I think Hiroki never told Nagate about her but meant to warn him about her ways and means, and she has probably already figured that out and is using that by not telling him why Hiroki got angry at her in the first place. Sugarcoating the truth to her favor.
