I think you have the sisters mixed up when it comes to the emotions.
Kohaku is broken inside and only pretends to feel shit most of the time, while Hisui pretends not to have emotions since she feels so bad about Kohaku being raped all the time and thinks that she's the only one who deserves to be happy.
I like Kohaku too, however; you should probably reread Tsukihime since that whole point of Hisuis route was that she was actually the one with the emotions while Kohaku just wanted revenge.

It's laid out at the very end of the final explanation that Kohaku doesn't "Want" revenge, rather it's just the only thing she had to keep her going despite not hating any of them.

The entire point of Kohaku's route as well was that she was far more human than she realized still, as her mask was slowly being broken as she could no longer put on a fake face more as it went along.

The moral wasn't "Kohaku doesn't have emotions, Hisui is the one that has them". Kohaku has forgotten her humanity but her route is all about finding it again, Hisui is someone who has squelched down her humanity like Kiritsugu so her sister can be happy. Kohaku did enjoy the act while playing happy, as Hisui calls her out on at the end of her route when she's trying to bullshit

Kohaku's talent is lying to herself, she has lied to herself so much she has forgotten herself entirely, but it's only buried rather than lost.
