If we assume the following:
the Great Forest is around equatorial latitude, Asura Kingdom is similar to the US's latitude (wheat fields, very productive agriculturally) and Ranoa/The Holy Land of the Sword is Taiga/Tundra, and the MT world is on a similar globe to ours (Rudi mentions seasons and daylight hours changing), then we've only seen a small fraction of the world.

Unless, the rest of the globe is water or there's some climate magic going on so those biomes don't correspond with any latitude.

So if the author wanted to, he could introduce some new areas. Of course, that seems unlikely, since people like Orsted and Perugius would probably know if there was more.
