It's just an hypothetical question but what if there was a Star Wars Japanese anime series, in which era should it take place? Also what do you think of the manga adaptation of Star Wars episde IV,V, VI, why is the art for Star Wars The Return of the Jedi so bad compared to A New Hope?
well it's the same story but in manga form
As far as my search goes, it's Episode 4, 5, 6 and 1. And it was actually good. Awesome fight scene.
I would totally watch an anime series based on thrawn saga
there are adaptation of Episode IV, V and IV
the manga version of the fight between Vader and Obi-Wan is really great
Obviously, it would start with Episode I: The Phantom Blood Menace.
Man, an X-Wing manga would be the balls.
>You will never see Wes posing in his ridiculous Adumari formal wear
>It will never be drawn by Araki
There's a reason why he's called MANdalore the Bearded.
>There will never be a manga version of the EU
>No Luke being one of the greatest jedi out there
>No Kyle Katarn
>Can't hav a trip with Jacen Solo
>No Boba Fett climbing his ass out of the Sarlacc pit
>No following Wedge on his journey of being the immortal pilot of the Republic and watching everyone he knows die.
Well on the bright side Chewie doesn't get a moon dropped on him
Palpatine doesn't keep rezzing himself
And everything related to Jacen Solo is retarded, stop mentioned that one thread.
What'd you think of the latest Wraith book? I liked it but thought the addition of a notJedi to the squad was unnecessary. It was cool seeing a Yuuzhan Vong though.
Pretty damn good, at least for the Gamorrean strip show and the living lobster suit. I'm still stung over Runt's fate, but it felt like a nice way to introduce the next generation. Jesmin wasn't too bad. It was a nice way to play off Tyria Sarkin's character anyway, and it led to at least one good joke.
RIP, Aaron Allston.
the Prequelsweren't made as movies but instead commissioned by George Lucas as a 3-part 2-cour anime trilogy, with key parts of the story basically unchanged from the movies? Would people hold it in a higher regard than how people view the prequels?
Only reason I'm interested in this is the art. Hisao Tamaki is great.
>Not picking a glorious Koensayr Y-fu
Which wars are we talking here? Aside from the Clone Wars and first Galactic Civil War, we have:
>Great Galactic War
>Jedi Civil War
>Force Wars of Tython
>Imperial Civil War
>New Sith Wars
>Janson-Antilles Prank War
>Second Galactic Civil War
>Yuuzhan Vong War
>Having a Dirty Twi'Lek as a waifu.
Include Karen Traviss, most of KJA's works outside of the Young Jedi Knights series, Vector Prime, and the more idiotic bullshit of the Vong and Post-Vong eras, and we're golden.
I'd dig a Star Wars anime with semi-realistic character designs like LOGH. That manga art is a little too cute for my liking.
you know, adam "fish lips" warren.
I heard it was because Lucas went crazy, wanted two character from different generations of SW to meet up because he saw their figures and said 'do it' but everyone else told him they couldn't and he was crazy
>Darth Maul and Darth Talon
I'm not sure how much of it is Lucas being crazy and Lucas being a troll. IIRC, he wanted one character to be named 'Darth Icky' and nobody was sure whether to take him seriously.
>The Sword of the Jedi series has been canceled indefinitely due to the announcement from Disney Publishing Worldwide and Random House about the relaunch of the Star Wars adult novel continuity.
