duuude, the Yu-Gi-Oh 4kids dub was shit, I grew up with it but the Americanization was too much.

Shame they didn't finish the uncut dvd's, the dub for that was pretty good.

Greek shaman king dubs absolutely amazing.
One piece's was decent too, but that was pre 2000, quality has deteriorated since.(T-thanks Brussels)
Shaman King dubs were so good that when it got dropped and I had to see it in Japanese it felt horrible.

Everyone loved them and its dub version ended up being more popular than its Japanese counterpart, spawning all kinds of memorable moments that the Japanese versions weren't able to replicate. Saw Death Note, thought the name sounded cool, watched the episode where the cops and a helicopter chase Higuchi, the butler pro snipes the car's wheels, Higuchi all of a sudden dies, Shinigamis appear, and Light spazes the fuck out. Both shows have dub fans, this is true, but I think the Eva dub in particular hasn't aged very well. For that matter, in both cases the Japanese is probably popular and still has memorable moments of its own, to say the least.

DBZ in French is the best of both worlds, except for Piccolo who is called "Petit-Coeur" for some reason. But what I mostly like is that they nailed Goku's VA and overall the story feels believable unlike the cringeworthy Japanese and English versions. Although what I found funny was the switch to the Japanese audio during screaming scenes, and boy do they scream in DBZ.
