>tfw the final 2 episodes of Space Dandy will be like The Real Folk Blues
>tfw Dandy will have an all out battle solo against the Googol Empire
>tfw Dandy will die like Spike and He'll do what he does in this gif alongside his last word being "Baby..."
>they already stated that the finale is gonna be something mindblowing and unexpected
pls no my heart can't take another one
Rock n Roll Dandy was really good. I think I actually prefer the Dub song over the Sub, the Sub sounded like a completely different person (not actually bothered to check whether it was or not).
Good, all-out strong episodes of season two:
1, 3, 7
I think they are both good in their own ways. I think the reason that the Dub is good is because they have put some effort into making the character's voices fit properly rather than just getting random english speakers to voice them. Dandy's English voice really suits him and I think a couple of times the minor script changes in the English version are nice (like the narrator going "he wants to be a rockstar, how original").
Ignore that it's from Reddit, the theory could be true considering Johnny was wearing one and he's been fighting the Googol empire for god knows how long.
Time to post this

Well since everybody expects a death I can't even imagine what will happen
Reddit aside, that's interesting. I thought Gel mentioned some sort of mysterious, all-powerful substance in the first episode, though.
Perhaps it's inside the necklace/dogtags?
Its a _luck_ charm, right?
This whole episode was side shattering
I love the Dandy walk, it reminds me of Cromartie
Real Folk Blues was such a bad arc in Cowboy Bebop.
I'd rather have a finale like Hard Luck Woman, the true ending to the adventures of Cowboy Bebop.
Pretty much the same
well it it hasn't already happened this would have been my guess for the final episode
It's the kind of episode I would usually hate but the comedy elements were sufficiently decent enough to make up for the musical numbers (I've never enjoyed musical numbers in anything for as long as I can remember).
I wasn't a big fan of either episode 3 or 5. 3 had some really amazing animation though, but I think I didn't like it because I think Daisuke Namikawa is shit most of the time.
>yfw the skeleton man of the Googol empire is actually Dandy father.
>dandy didn't want to be the next heir cause he was too cool and dandy to be an evil dictator.
>father abandon him and sends his henchman to track him down to either kill/capture him.
>Implying Skeleton Man is Dandy enough to be Papa Dandy
I'm gonna be bummed when this show is over. There's just so much talent and collaboration involved. Whoever maintains the wiki does a good job of showing that.
God I hope not. Dandy can do something of its own.
>Perry threatens Googol empire with closing down his absurdly popular breastaurant chain, in an attempt to destroy troop morale
>Dandy steps up to destroy Perry and assume his rightful place as owner
It'd be funny.
The complete opposite of season 2's first episode will occur. All characters will combine into an aggregate entity that represents a universal singularity.
Dandy is the mother brain of this universal consciousness, the personification of the will of the universe.
Honestly, as much as i love it, they've made it 26 episodes for a reason and i dont see how they could milk another season out of it unless they want filler (yes, believe it or not each episode has had plot that effects the entire show)
But if it does well enough, we get a movie, so buy the DVDs like a mad man
The new girl seems to be a physical embodiment of death buddy.
Of COURSE she is. Death (the ideal, not the action itself) is always amazingly beautiful when realized into an avatar
Every episode is plot, you just need to look hard enough. But you cant really connect threads until season 2, as the first episode is entirely about that. 'Cosmic strings' which are invisible usually and link everything together. Several episodes of season 1 tie into season 2 and can be considered having plot as a result.
Half the point of space dandy is that time and space aren't Linear, so the show itself isn't.
At least the music will be...
My bset guess is, from the way shes wrapped up and the butterfly motif, its implying that death isn't the end but rather a change of living space. Your being goes from one state to the next, much like a Caterpillar becomes a butterfly.
Sounds like the Tarot card reading mate.
Death Tarot (Shorten)
- The end of an life (Doesn't have to be a life just a pattern) and beginning of a huge change & new cycle/pattern.
What if the butterfly was nothing more but a pet?
What if this steel girder is the metaphor?
After all, this is the Dandy Universe...
Every episode in either season has one that is linked to it im some way or form. You can call bullshit if you like, but if you want to discover the truth behind dandy, go searching for the subtext.
Well then fuck. We got to wait a few more hours until the episode, and celebrate. Somebody better make sure to take good screenshots of the Boobie girls that appear in this episode as we are going to see some before the adventure begins.
Defintly a qt. This episode is going to have some music, be a little depressing, and have a little scene with Dandy & that girl that's going to be heartwarming.
New crew member come on. I've been hoping Honey would join, nothing. Ginger, none. Adelie, nothing. Scarlet, nothing.
What were these people on when they wrote this episode.
I wanna see the guy who came in and said:
>"Alright guys, I just smoked 5 bowls and this is what we should do."
>"I don't even know what the fuck you're trying to tell us, BUT IT'S GENIUS."
Like a cross between her and the alien girl from Blue Submarine No. 6.
This is awfully confusing, but I'm really liking it so far. You can see where the budget for High School Musical got spent.
>all these close up stills of eyes
I have no idea what the fuck is going on
All I get is we have 2 pairs of people, one of.them wanting to die, the other telling them their worth.
Where's Doctor gell gonna bring reality back
I can tell the last 2 episodes will be tripy. And I love it, baby.
I don't really understand what they're getting at, but it's surprisingly entertaining.
I haven't really enjoyed the majority of the episodes of the 2nd cour, but this one is really good so far.
>mfw Dandy's going to give death the finger and get his life back
>new girl is only getting 5 minutes of screentime
>instead of dying, Dandy goes to another dimension
>DED DANDY MARRIED TO PLANET GHOST LOLI
>she still won't get half as much porn or even normal art as Meow does
>dat credits music
>dem eye close ups
>dem character designs
>every time any Dandy in any dimension dies that episode happens
>Has Space Dandy been commercially successful so far?
don't remind me
>Dandy even does Shaft better than Shaft does
So okay. Dandy dies and his soul ends up there. She says that she can't return him to when he died, but maybe another universe entirely. So in the universe they left the nebula, Dandy stayed dead because he couldn't return there anyways.
But the ending has him coming back..? And the people he interacted with were all waiting for him. I'm guessing his soul just always returns there when he dies.
Seriously, so many feels, even though it was really quite light and not too deep.
I wonder if Limbo was able to see all of Dandy's alternate lives, and that's why she loved him.
S1E8 is the one where the dog dies, right? The whole point was to call to attention the token "sad" episode where the one-shot character dies, yet the cast just forgets about them in all subsequent adventures. That's what the moment where Dandy dedicates himself living on to a bunch of Boobies girls instead of the dog that JUST died is supposed to drive home.
So wait who is white suit Dandy?
Did he say fuck it and choose to die again?
Is that future Dandy who dies of old age or other things?
Did Dandy visit planet limbo again alive this time?
It's that time again, D/a/ndy: YFW this week's episode.
>Can Dandy get anymore based?
When this baby hits the 26th episode, you are gonna see some serious shit.
I eagerly await the Dandy version of this
>Dandy is going to end soon
I don't think I can handle it /a/
Limbo exists in all dimensions simultaneously, so she functions as the universal psychopomp. That's why she recognized Dandy when he talked to her, and that's how she fell in love with him.
Dandy's harem so far:
2 alien lolis
1 plant loli
1 book loli
1 barely legal HS grad
2 gay space princes (1 fabulous, 1 bro)
and as of tonight: 1 planet
>Mfw thinking about the Dandy finale.
They're going to somehow have to manage to top every episode that came before it if they want to give this show a
dandyconclusion. I'm not even going to bother speculating, I have no fucking idea where this show is going. It's like trying to predict Samurai Flamenco.
this episode seemed so much different in the preview...
I can't believe we have actual plot happening in Dandy now. Things are being linked, and explained.
Now we know how Dandy dies and just comes back next episode. Shit. How do you think the end will bring everything together?
Stream it again when you download it, and I'll watch it with you, anon.
Limbo loves you
Limbo has always loved you
Limbo has waited forever and a day for you
REMINDER OF DANDY'S FORESHADOWED STATUS WITH THINGS FINALLY STARTING TO BE TIED UP
