Is working really as fun as it looks in Working!!?

Maybe the workplace would be a nice place to form relationships...

No.

Working on my dick perhaps but other then that no
>>

I want Inami to work on my dick.
>>
It's only fun when there are no customers and the manager on duty isn't a hardass.
>>
>>112487099
I work at a bar and it's kinda like Working, only the other kitchen staff are more crass and have a dirtier sense of humor than Satou and Soma.
>>
Not really, but I work in an office. The attorneys are fun sometimes.
>>
I work in a restaurant
It's not.

At least before there was a cute short waitress. Too bad she quit though. I had fun laughing at her being tiny while I got shit off of high shelves for her. At least there's still a cute tall girl who's taller than me
>>
>>112488149
Bar anon here, we had a not-so-cute waitress who was pretty short, and one of of my buddies stacked a bunch of cups so high she couldn't carry it upstairs. She threw a tantrum and it was a funny sight, but again, not as cute as Poplar. /blog
>>
>>112488149
Did you call her "Popura"?

haha no. people work to make a living in peace not be harassed.
>>
>>112488189
I have a bad habit of stacking shit as high as I can and have to constantly stop what I'm doing to get shit down for other people.
>>112488218

>>
So I haven't watched Servant X Service yet. Should I? I've heard it's alright but not as good as Working.
>>
>tfw I'm the only male at my workplace
>I'm seen as the strongman of the team because I'm the only non-woman
>they always call me over when they need to lift anything over 20 pounds
It gets a little ridiculous at times.
>>
>>112487099
Nope.
Well, if you have a shitty job like fast food, maybe you'll meet a nice girl who wouldn't touch you with a 10ft pole.

But if you have a real job making real money, no, all the women are married or old or both.

Depending on the coworkers, managers, and job, it can be fun though. I mean when you're not working and just shooting the shit with each other.
>>
>>112488332
It's still good.
>>
>>112488332
It has similar qualities to Working so I would recommend it, it may not be as good as Working but it's still good & enjoyable for sure.

God I want Inami to punch me in the stomach.
>>
>>112487099
Hell no.

It's awful. I've only been working at a library for 8 months and my opinion of humanity in general took a nosedive thanks to all the retarded customers I interact with on a daily basis. Although, I appreciate the good ones a lot more, so I guess that's cool too.
>>
>>112487099
So how many variations of hairpin did Inami had during the course of the 2 seasons?

I hope you faggots are giddy about S3 as me.
>>
>>112488850
I would say it's as good as Season 1, possibly better.
>>
>>112488774

It depends on the place I'm working at. Some places, it's really damn pleasant and basically you do whatever you want as long shit gets done. Waited tables for a few years before. It sucks, but not as bad as retail shit and working in grocery stores under those slave drivers.

>>
>>112490155
These days, if you so much as glance the wrong way at a chick in the workplace they can easily get you fired for sexual harrasment
>>
>>112490155
Ohh yeah. You have to be really careful about it. The problem is even being accused of sexual harassment can carry no evidence. Even if you never met the person, they can file a claim. And instead of pursuing the claim sometimes you just get fired.

Where I was it was the cooks who were the bitches. One just left a note on the checks clipper saying "I quit" after breakfast and left 30mins before lunch, others would go out and snipe at clients. Most of the waiting stuff were ok, and housekeeping was 50/50 angels and demons.
>>
>>112490550
>One just left a note on the checks clipper saying "I quit" after breakfast and left 30mins before lunch
That's actually kind of funny.

I now realize how pathetic my own life is because I fantasize about quitting my job in a fantastic way.
>>
Bussed at a pizza place for a month. The owners/managers were scum and gave opposite orders to everyone, and always got angry. They shortchanged me on my pay, and most of the wait staff came and left a few weeks later like me so nobody had experience. One of the cooks was on parole, and a bartender was fired for stealing money.

Now I work in a library, which is much better, except today a crazy lady who forgot to take her meds threatened a coworker and is now banned. That was fun.

It all depends on the people you're working with.
I do facilities maintenance, meaning basically just cleaning up and fixing other peoples stupid mistakes, and I get paid less than shit for it.
But my co-workers are all awesome people so I hardly notice it.

The people are what make all the difference,
Hell look at /a/
This place is a shithole but most of you guys are awesome so I keep coming back.
>>
Working is alot of fun once you find a place with people you are comfortable with. You gotta maintain a positive attitude about it too. There will always be bullshit and drama in the workplace but at least you are making money and not being a nigger.
>>
>>112491009
>>112491081
I worked fast food before working at the Pier 1 I just left. I don't mind the people so much. My main gripe was the stupid corporate politics.

>the indian with the tight asshole who kissed all the ass he could to get his assistant managers position
>the manager was the most passively-aggressive flamboyant faggot I ever met
>no, literally, he was gay, and spoke like the fucking Mad Hatter
>"Remember guys! Teamwork makes the dream work!"
>Also CREDIT CARDS CREDIT CARDS CREDIT CARDS

I was hoping the library would have more people working there who act like actual adults since it's a library.

>>112491155
That shit always annoyed me.

Libraries are a place where people go to learn, and some people need the quiet to concentrate. I get that.

So why the fuck do people think going "SHHHHHHHHH!" louder than the people you're trying to shush is a good idea?
>>
>>112487099

>>112487099

It can be depending on your coworkers, but if you're dealing with customers then it can be a real drag.

>Work at Papa Murphy's
>Customer comes in, mid 40's overweight countyside white-guy
>"Can I get a German Chicken Chocolate...wait--"
>it's Gourmet Chicken Garlic
>I genuinely and audibly laugh my entire ass off and crawl to the back of the store in front of him
>my manager takes my spot as cashier, apologizes in my stead and tries to lecture me
>I tell him no
>don't get fired anyway because of my high worth as a helpful employee

Sure is nice knowing I'm not that guy
>>
>>112491718
People always laugh at me when I ask for kinder surprise.
>>
I want to watch this show but the MC is honestly one of the worst characters I've ever seen.
God I hate him so much
>>
>>112491458
Original library asshole here. My coworkers are actually pretty nice.

No one does the SHHHHHH thing and they act like actual adults for the most part (there's a snitch among us though).

The kinds of coworkers you get varies no matter what place you work at though. Dumb customers are 100% guaranteed, so if you don't mind that, you're already halfway there.
>>
I work overnight maintenance in retail. Imagine Working! except stressful when not on breaks or lunch, and break/lunch being hit-and-miss depending on which co-workers are around.

>one lunch I spent a full hour listening to a guy in his fifties with two skyrim tattoos telling me how hitler was awesome(but constantly backtracking to not call him awesome)
>another lunch was spent talking about anime that aired recently with an /a/ incarnate
>one was spent comforting some homeless girl and giving her something to eat

Now, Working!! and Servant x Service are both great series, and while the writing in Working!! is a fair bit better, and the plot is more cohesive, it has one major flaw that does put it behind Servant x Service in a lot of ways to a lot of people.

First guy looked pretty much like any guy born in the sixties that didn't age well would look. Shitty teeth, terrible complexion, the usual. /a/dude was tall, fat, and had a neckbeard and watched a lot of slice of life, comedy, and harems. The homeless girl was pretty cute, but she had lost so much weight that she looked gaunt and felt bony, so I was kinda put off by it. Never saw her again after that night though. I did buy her a couple cans of soup and a large sub though, so hopefully she rationed it well.
>>
>>112493190
There are three MCs.

One's fascination with small organisms make him alternate between looking like a pedophile and looking like a bug fetishist.

One is in love with a lesbian and not very happy about the fact, which causes him to take out his frustrations on the smallest members of the staff.

One loves seeing people in pain, mostly emotional pain, and has a myriad of skills, resources, connections, and methods to help him get what he wants (unless Yamada's the subject, as she is too cute to torture or blackmail, apparently).

Take your pick.
