Not asking for source, but holy fuck that was bad
Nigga you gonna post something good then or what?
>not recognising saber/shirou/archer/lancer
>countless threads of remake hype
>all new level of summer
Please get out
Jesus; even Kemonozume wasn't as bad as this.
very short, but good
I know man, it was the first result. sorry.
but yeah, I'm still working through the series, at about 225 right now. I love it so much. the fights have all been awesome, but I don't know if anything will ever top my reaction to Gintoki going full ragemode
just look at his face man. so good.
Those Gintama moments:
>Kagura going berserk and shoves a guy to the ceiling
>Gintoki going mad against Jirocho
>Shinpachi actually taking down someone and mobs
stay with you forever.
I thought that was pretty obvious.
oh man, when that happened to Kagura. I normally wouldn't have but for some reason that shit just got me. tears errywhere.
that was a very "shonen jump fighting arc" esque arc, but I liked it a lot
does the 2nd movie have any good fights in it?
The biggest thing that bugs me about this movie is that Shirou can 1v1 Archer, when in the VN he was literally dying and the only reason Archer lost was because he chose to
Artistic interpretation. It's hard to show a Shirou liming around and keeping the fight interesting without tons of monologue, which doesn't translate well to an animated medium anyways.
I like how the entire budget went into this and the Berserker fight.
are they fighting for who's gonna fuck saber after gilgamesh's bukakke of babylon?
Yeah, but that only gets you so far until you don't do the original source any favours. The DEEN fight doesn't make me feel like Shirou is madly swinging and just attacking for the sake of it like he should be. It seems a little too graceful for that.
It's been running for like 16 years or so, a year before even Naruto, so I'd say it's pretty long-running.
Then again, I'm like the only person in existence who looks at it by how long it's been going on and not the amount of volumes it has, which is apparently what everyone else does.
the TV show? I went with GG. Seemed to be the perfect anime for them.
Filler webm while I try to work on the new one.
The sword blades break easily so the military carry multiple sets on their 3D Maneuver Gear. In this case, you can actually go frame by frame to see that he simply ejected the blades at the Titan and equipped the empty handles with new blades.
The point of the fight was to give a physical representation of Shirou and Archer's ideological conflict. Archer didn't lose because he was an inferior fighter, he lost because Shirou didn't give up on his ideal and kept fighting knowing he couldn't win. Archer fought with less and less tenacity as the fight wore on because he realized he'd been denying his past ideal, his reason for existence and wanted to lose and be proven wrong.
sorry for gif, don't have the movie to webm the scene.
Shirou barely won in the VA. He was fighting an Archer who was at the verge of death and was still getting owned. Shirou was cut to the point where he should have passed out from the wounds but continued to fight through will alone. Despite this, Archer was growing increasingly envious of his resolve until he finally lost. That was their difference. Not this bullshit where Shirou is this complete badass who can not only rival Qrcher but overcome him as well. Remember how in the anime when simply making a sword wqs taking a deadly toll on Shirou by this point? Neither does anyone else
I wish I could find the animated version of this one. It was a really well-executed and really emotional fight.
