Sister is best girl
Say what you want of KlK but that scene with Mako running on the mouse wheel with all the other defeated students and then taking the ship into the original life fiber with Sanbika playing in the background...that got me all hot blooded.
I've seen plenty of old shit. I actually prefer older shows. But those Key designs make every female in Clannad look like they have a severe case of Down Syndrome.
Fuck off, assumptious faggot.
Not one tear for a zealot subsuming herself in the godhead?
Whole thing was beautiful to look at
I think I liked this scene so much, because it wasn't just some flashback to before the show, but it was related to development during it. You get attached to both characters and can sympathize with Clannadman.
The show gives no real time to grieve, it just moves on so you kind of just focus on Tomoya for those couple episodes then this scene it catches up to you hits you right in the heart.
I know Clannad has its flaws, but it really was a great show.
This 3dpd downie is cuter than any Clannad character.
All female KEY designed characters still look like retards, thanks to that retarded extra wide spacing. But please, keep trying to excuse awful design work.
Since I'm an anime only-fag, this scene came out of nowhere for me.
Nothing ever goes right for Kayneth.
I'm with you man, it's scenes like that which make me think it's great. The scene with the dad either right after that one or the episode after, I can't remember, is really good too.
If I had to choose one scene out of that gorgeous movie I personally would go with the opening, but I'm a sucker for militaria.
Love how he was so incredbly righteous
"I am killing your friend, shoot me"
and even though slightly edgy “Justice is subject to dispute; might is easily recognized and is not disputed. So we cannot give might to justice”
Totally saved your image.
Besides the fucking gorgeous art in this scene, it was probably the darkest part of the series. I had to pause and smoke like 3 cigs before I could continue watching.
I don't have screen shots, nor the anime to screen cap since I've just lost my EHD, but last episode of CG R2, obviously and that scene from FMA:B when he talk to God, or whatever that thing was, for the last time.
Best scene in the whole series. Prove me wrong. Oh wait, you can't
Between this and Hittori Bocchi, everything past this episode was also great.
I still cry every time I watch this scene.
I actually fucking teared up while typing this and thinking about the scene.
this was probably one of the best scenes in the entire series, if we're talking serious stuff.
that moment when it just cuts to the sound of the rain pouring down is just (le) chills man
seeing a character who fucks around for a good part of the series and never takes anything seriously go this fucking apeshit was AMAZING
shame the rest of the arc was kinda shit though.
Yup gotta love that kick the dog while its down melodrama with near pointless harem antics, bad design, and a reset end because they can't write.
You guys are such saps.
Touman vs Accelerator was a good episode.
It was the only reason I even watched the second season.
He's actually sorta right, but he doesn't consider all the foreshadowing of the political situation taking place.
While these cute girls are fooling around the city, doing their shady business or just getting drunk, there's still a lot going on outside the city.
"Nothing" happens, but is not a bad thing, it's actually very subtle storytelling and there's certainly more than just cute girls doing cute things.
god tier scene was the switcheroo in chaos;head but I don't have an image
The criticism I have with anons post was the 'overrated' part. Whilst yes, little may or may not happen, but that doesn't detract from the experience it provides.
Yeah, except the entire point of the show was that Chamber was full of shit and he was just as deluded as the rest of the spacers. He symbolically becomes the breeding ground of hideauze at the end of the show to point out that there CAN be a meeting between the two.
People who post this image are retards of the highest order.
That scene was magnificient either way.
I'd say the best scene from Mirai Nikki is that episode where Yukki kills all his classmates, the white haired dude kisses him and his body, without the freaking head, still walks to show him the message.
I find it unacceptable that this has not been posted yet.
Ah yes, that was also quite the scene. Beta faggot snapped.
The only part of Clannad that people jizz about is After Story. If that's the good part, most of the first season is just standard VN pandering. Like, did you only watch S2 or something? It also doesn't detract from my main point that the events that so many people claim they cry over are extreme melodrama and the writers did everything in their power to make the characters sympathetic by making their lives mostly shit and giving small glimpses of hope to bait and switch the audience and manipulate emotions.
The anime is solid on itself, and pretty great, but if you want more depth to the story and characters, definitely the VN.
I played the VN to it's true ending after watching the anime and I regret nothing.
Could you please point out the so-called 'harem antics' in the first season? Or perhaps you think Tomoya interacting with anyone other than Nagisa counts as harem antics.
>It also doesn't detract from my main point that the events that so many people claim they cry over are extreme melodrama and the writers did everything in their power to make the characters sympathetic by making their lives mostly shit and giving small glimpses of hope to bait and switch the audience and manipulate emotions.
Welcome to Key, enjoy your stay. Are you done now?
Anyone remember this scene or the events leading to it?
>yoy will never tie Yuno down and fuck Yukki in front of her
>you will never kill him afterwards and cum at Yuno while she screams at you
>you will never slowly bring the knife to her and start cutting and raping her
>you will never bathe in Yuno's blood
Such is my sad existence
One of the first times I posted on this board after years of lurking I called someone's opinion "bait" because I thought that his opinion was so inflammatory that it could not possibly have been posted in good faith. An anon wiser than I pointed out that calling "bait" on /a/ would not be tolerated since it recalled certain behaviors of lesser boards and stifled opinions. I took him at his word and no longer assume that just because someone has a different opinion from me they must be out to get me. I mean, that's how posters on /a/ are supposed to roll right?
Anon, wherever you are, you were fucking wrong about this place.
I remember when /m/ was blasting that piece all around and a few anons were trying to point out that chamber's thinking was wrong. I sure loved those tears when all the peoples of earth came to an UNDERSTANDING.
This show was filled with a long list of those sort of moments.
Indeed, never underestimate the power of love. Also, perfect VA who hasn't had many other roles.
To be fair, after watching Clannad multiple times, I kind of fell like the first season is there more to make you connect with the characters rather than present a great story, because, let's face it, the VN is a harem, except After Story, and harem adaptations are rarely any good.
They did what most do, which is, take the better parts of every route, jumble them a little bit, and give more focus on the girl that's supposed to win. Which Clannad did, and I didn't dislike it, because if there is something that the anime has, is that it really knows how to portray emotional scenes.
I mean, can you name one arc ending which could be considered bad?
The fact that you outright attacked a show without knowing what you are talking about just because you don't like it comes off as bait. At least give constructive arguments next time.
>bitching about reset when you don't know the source material
Literally kill yourself you dumb fuck. You don't have to like Clannad, but you don't have to be a retard either.
Her heart was in the right place. What's more pure than unstoppable love?
>explain it away as key
That's hardly an argument to excuse it for what it is. If you can't see that, you have no place discussing the show.
>Or perhaps you think Tomoya interacting with anyone other than Nagisa counts as harem antics
Well, I don't know what other term is used to describe a VN style where the main is surrounded by a cast of beautiful girls and he interacts with more than a few in a manner that causes them all to fall in love with him. Perhaps as it isn't actually a "harem" I can't use the term, so if you got a better word or phrase for a show where everyone wants the main character other than "pre-teen wankery" sock it to me.
No one is posting mangoo, but this panel right here was so fucking tear jerking.
Yeah, clearly trying to kill the people who are trying to kill your beloved one is wrong. That's the fucking point of being a yandere. Plus the psychotic behavior that everyone loves.
Yeah, it really was, but to be fair Yuno was kind of experienced.
Definitely some of the nicest animation in the series.
I get why they did this, and how this somehow proved why she was so overpowerful compared to others, but it still felt kind of, I don't know, forced?
I didn't dislike it, just didn't sat to well with me.
Every scene involving any kind of fighting in C;H sucked. I have no idea how you didn't post the box. Or anything else.
The build up to this scene was great.
>That's hardly an argument to excuse it for what it is
I don't really get what I'm trying to excuse here. It's already clear you really dislike the show, all I pointed out was that your use of the term 'harem antics' was incorrect. There are no harem antics in Clannad, in the traditional sense of the word. In fact, the other girls feelings for the clannadman were so downplayed in the anime that you could just pass it off as a romance anime with only Nagisa as the primary focus.
Yandere sucks. If I had to pick one at least I'd choose someone sane like Mukae or Koharu
Not turning her over to the cops is the worst thing you can do for a Yandere.
Well yeah, MN isn't the best writing, but it was entertaining to say the least. It gets a lot more shit than it deserves.
if you're talking about Ayumi then yes. you DO see best girl
Edgy never really had a meaning. It's a term that refers to things that appeal to mild anti-authoritarian predispositions or things that oppose the mainstream but especially applies to things that are designed to specifically appeal to those tastes. Skeletons, gooey toys, bad smelling scratch and sniff stickers, abusive catch-copy, explicit lyrics, overwrought clothing designs, and dogmatic atheists can all be edgy. You don't have to be punk or goth; the meaning of edgy changed with social standards. Calling a homosexual a sinner is pretty edgy these days.
I agree, it's definitely worth watching, but by no mean a must watch. I have to rewatch it soon, now that' I've got th BD versions.
Okay, you dislike yanderes, we get that. I hate tsundere's myself, it doesn't mean I can't be objective about the show as a whole. Now, once you can be objective come back.
Yandere is objectively shit and tsundere isn't far off.
Thank you for reminding me to rewatch MN.
As a parting gift, have happy Yuno.
What the fuck?
That shit wasn't anything on any spectrum.
I think you're giving too much credit to those that use these terms
These words are all used when an individual doesn't know how to articulate their thoughts. These people lack the critical thinking skills to cobble together a post on 4chan.
Yeah, until you get to to the part where all the girls are crying their eyes out over having lost. Or y'know, it would have been pretty easy to figure out just from the pedigree of the show. It's not like things like to love ru don't have main love interests and a bunch of side girls that have no chance or anything. That isn't a really common thing in japanese media at all.
If you watched that for the first time thinking that ryou or kyou (with emphasis here) had zero chance of hooking up and that their feelings were "so downplayed in the anime that you could just pass it off as a romance anime with only Nagisa as the primary focus" as the story progressed, you're certainly more genre savvy than I am. I mean hell, they didn't even have a "awkwardly locked in the gym storehouse" scene. What was I thinking?
In the end, they're just character archetypes. They can be good if done right.
>darkest part of the series
For railgun only, maybe.
For the raildex universe? There are a lot of characters with absolutely fucked up backgrounds.
Also heavy cases of "one death is a tragedy, a thousand is statistics".
Sadly most of these arcs haven't been animated yet.
This show looked so much like shit.
Can I get a suzuku (was that the faggots name?) spin gif please? That's the only good thing that came out of the show. (the rest was faggots who think that this version of Death Note is cool)
He wasn't supposed to be.
It's not uniformly good, but that show was very good at ramping up the tension on the audience. That is a really cathartic moment in the show because a guy they thought was actively distancing himself from the conflict was really behind it all. There's plenty of geass to bitch about, but there are some things the show did pretty well.
No, every archtype is bearable and logical to some point, trundere's simply want to ignore the truth and act unrationally, which is the definition of being a dumbshit.
I never considred anything of it to be bad. Maybe not great but it was enjoyable to watch.
Which one I have a ton of spinzaku
What do you think I streamed it just for the screen shot... I deleted the blu-ray rip a few months ago.
Kamina was a whole lot of talk, nothing more.
It's a good thing he died early on otherwise he would have just been another one of those annoying loud mouth types.
Not exactly shit but undesirable.
Why would you want a girl whose murder streak you have to worry about? I get girls like Mizore but going deeper than that can only rest in pain. For you and those you hold dear (if you say you don't that's bullshit)
Not really, for what I understand, and you can actually see this is MN, if a person, family or not, doesn't pose a threat to the lover or their relationship, yandere's can actually accept them. So, the only people to be in harms way, would be those that either want to kill you or make you unhappy, which I don't see why I should bother in making sure they are safe from my beuatiful waifu.
This scene kills me every single time. I rewatched it recently for maybe the tenth time, and for some reason I remembered and was prepared for every single other moment EXCEPT this one.
Also, pretty much the entirety of SBY2199 is god-tier.
In other words, a sociopath. Also, Yanderes don't work like that. You're discounting that they are willing to deprive others of happiness and you of the possible happiness of being with others. My point still stands.
>Are you Rider's master?
>No, I am his subject
One of the extremely few shows I actually shed a single tear
Not the one to whom you were talking, but it's the other way around, anon. My SO is uncannily similar to Yuno. I call it the 2.5D phenomenon.
She's fantastic, by the way. Wouldn't have her change for the world. It's like having a yandere meatspace waifu.
This scene and many others from Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
SUKI SUKI DAISUKI
nothing will ever top this for me.
Can't wait for the OST.
One vs 70,000.
The scene is way overblown in comparison to the novel which is probably why I like it.
I want to live ;_;
I was surprised I even made it this far, but this scene made it all damn worth it.
That was the best ep in the entire show it had much better plot then the rest of the show.
About as generic as it gets but the music was way to hype
Also, dat OP and ED:
My favorite scene in all of animation I think.
>Not the fight against Emonzaemon
>that moment before they fight when it flashes back to all those memories he has of her
I'm tearing up just thinking about it. I think her death hit me the most out of any anime death
Harem? What, each route is a single girl, there's no trying to get in everyone's pants at the same time. It presents as a standard dating sim by giving into to each girl and a few choices to guide you toward her route, how is that a harem?
Should I add harem to the list of words /a/ cannot use properly? Fuck, even the anime which combines everything together he outright chooses nagisa right off the bat.
This entire scene. It's what made me want to start downloading anime again. Before that I'd been watching Naruto and some other stuff but stopped.
I didn't even watch the full episode so I didn't know anything about Rolo or Lelouch being brainwashed.
I'm tempted to rewatch CG and FLCL now because of this thread
>God Tier scenes
>this haven't been posted yet
Are you niggers serious?
Well, 18.104.22.168 is the beta version, and will break from time to time. Try installing the stable 22.214.171.124 and seeing if that fixes it. And please report the bug:
That said, WebMs work fine for me with the same setup. What specifically is wrong? Do they not expand? Not show up on hover? Expand but not play? Also, do they work for you in a new tab with 4chan X disabled? (if not, it's likely a browser problem.) Tried disabling other extensions temporarily? Bugs can't be fixed if they can't be reproduced, so if there's something specific to your setup that's causing it, we need to identify what it is.
>Not god tier
But I'm wearing a nostalgia glasses so what do I know ?
Is there someone ITT who watched this scene having some powerlevel going for him who can objectively judge?
>people like a show that I dont like
>insult them so they will understand
This entire sequence was just fantastic.
Rahxephon was shit... by which I mean, the concept was largely unoriginal, the mc was almost as useless as Shinji, the artwork was subpar, and in general it was uninspiring and lacklustre.
However, the whole "musical aliens" thing was a bit interesting, and that particular scene was pretty good, so. Take from that what you will.
Imagine the shitstorm if /A/ had been around back then.
Say what you will about the rest of the series it had its moments.
I liked it, then the ending happened
>Haven't watched the show
>I already know he's edgy by the design
>The guy is a fucking middle aged respected village doctor with the most common sense in the show, stuck in a dire situation and slowly getting worn down.
wasn't ready for that descent into madness
I wish I was watching it, but I can't sit through those Hadena tier CR subs. It's either I continue with learning moon and watch it raw, or Commie resumes subbing it. Whichever comes first.
You can not deny you didn't cheer during this scene.
I love that scene, but personally I'd go for the TSURUGI DA one, or the one with Chris singing "tsunaida te dake ga tsumugu mono".
Oh, better yet, the awakening from episode 12!
Shit, I wanna watch the whole thing again.
