Have you been trolled into watching/reading an anime/manga by /a/ only to later find out it has been dropped by translator groups?
How about getting trolled into watching/reading anime/manga that hasn't been dropped but it's actually shit?
Like Bleach or Naruto.
So when are you going to join the raw reading master race and leave annoying scanlators behind forever?
At least you won't have to waste more time on that shit.
You should thank them.
While it was indeed shit, the last chapter they mention was actually a joke release where it actually have depressing ending. While the manga was actually about cute xmas cake teacher doing cute things
the joke release was about the main character having sex with the student and get fired because of it, she regret it and ends with her crying
Well, there were also missing redraws which got done while QCer was on vacation for a few weeks. Should get done soon. 37 probably soon after since it was just pending proofreading which is done.
No, just slow.
It can be difficult and annoying at times, but I've always enjoyed academic stuff. Also, there's a big selection of manga that include furigana, so they're accessible even if you don't know many kanji.
I think most people get turned off by the enormity of the reading/writing aspect. The grammar isn't particularly difficult. Overall, it's more of a marathon than a sprint, I guess.
I never really got people crying over lack of updates. I just follow 400+ series and get a steady stream of around 10 chapters a day. It sucks that a lot of it wont update but it really cant be helped.
The Tokyo Ghoul manga when it first started. It spend some time in a serious scanalating limbo.
Good think twisted-hel picked it up after lazy-ass left it for dead. And now that it has an anime that shit is getting translated at a blinding pace.
Sorry for rubbing it in ;_;
every single manga i have picked up from a one page thread also get a lot that are cancelled and this.
>Status in Country of Origin
>1 Volume (Cancelled? Magazine ceased publication, some carried over to Weekly Shonen Magazine +)
This manga had potential...
If that happens, the mangaka could continue in another magazine.
But if the author dies, like with >>110969669
then you're pretty much fucked up as the story, if continued by another author, won't be canon(at least in my eyes)
What would you finish If you could read moon anon?
>dropped by translator
>picked by another one a few hours later
>feels good man
>tfw the series you were following that was getting rapid translations finally catches up and you have to deal with a week's wait for 1 chapter just like everything else again
Kingdom I'm thinkin' of you
Not dropped, but man I'm pissed that O/A scanlations are at a snail's pace. The manga already ended like two years ago and the translations are only halfway through.
It'll get picked up someday, I'm sure...
>Me and the Devil Blues
At least we got something good in the end.
granted, this was october of last year, and I've seen nothing since...
I rarely take manga recommendations from /a/, but this seems pretty good from the 4 chapters translated.
>not with a 10 foot pole
Shoujo often starts well enough, but always degenerates into a horrific, morally abberant mess.
