Yeah, this was the main issue I had with it. Way too many characters for such a short format. Meant that no one got enough attention or focus, and most of the series was wasted on introductions.
They should've cut out most of the side characters and focused primarily on Inugami and Nekoyama.

Because the anime cut out the part with Haruka fantasizing about kissing Yuu after they got off the phone. Not that the manga was particularly deep itself mind.

It went beyond showing affection to just randomly popping up with no real reason. No foreplay just right to the lewd.

They didn't start showing romantic affection or nonsexual attraction until the last few episodes long after they started toungefucking. It was completely backward and by that time the kissing was nothing special, you knew it was going to happen every episode regardless of character or relationship development.
