2nd 1st season OP:
It's implied in the really short cuts that there were two coffins followed by two hundred women. One being the director's sister and the other is unknown which would be Kafuka.

The problem is that those frames last for a couple miliseconds and are almost unreadable.

There was an inconsistency in the first season where Abiru was onscreen during Meru's introduction even though Kafuka was supposed to be Abiru in that chapter.

Kumeta probably meddled excessively after that since one of the later title gags was something along the lines of "please stop helping us and go back to writing the manga Kumeta-san"
