A friend recommended I read this manga called The Ancient Magus Bride and I've never seen it mentioned here before so I was wondering if anyone here reads it. I enjoyed it for the most part, the characters, art and world are all very interesting, but I really don't care for the romance between the main characters. The relationship is, pardon the buzzword, incredibly toxic and I find it a bit distracting. The skeleton man buys the girl because she's a magical oddity, apparently feels no human emotions, and at one point almost eats the girl. But that's all ok and she still loves him because no one has ever wanted her before so she doesn't care if she's eaten as long as she's wanted. I feel that The Beast and His Pet High School Gir does the whole "beastman buys young human girl" in a much more believable way, though it lacks the more interesting plot and world that Magus Bride has

Art is all subjective. To many people this is considered great art.
What one person sees is not what another sees so saying one is objectively better is almost a moot point. I like all of the art from the guys you listed but i wouldnt say there is a best out of them just different.

Yeah I agree, but on a purely technical standpoint you CAN say that Miura's far from being the best in all of those areas he's considered great by some.
But yes it's obvious that Berserk art is better than most, and still great.
